Wayne Lineker leaves Ibiza after admitting party lifestyle made him ‘miserable’

After reversing his support for the party island, Wayne Lineker, who is credited with owning O Beach Ibiza, acknowledged that Ocean for me is the biggest trigger in the world.

Ocean Beach owner Wayne Lineker has revealed he is leaving Ibiza in an emotional message to his fans after saying his Ibiza lifestyle “is now impossible for me”.

After declaring that he was “becoming a little miserable,” the 63-year-old club owner has decided to leave the party island. On October 5, he announced that he would leave the island.

Wayne revealed last month that he had made a significant lifestyle change, that he had been in rehab for more than two months. After nearly 20 years of separation, he acknowledged that he is finally learning to live life without drugs or alcohol. He also acknowledged that he has reconnected with his brother Gary Lineker.

Writing on Facebook and Instagram yesterday Wayne announced he has left the party island and lifestyle behind after saying “there is no bigger trigger in the world than Ocean for me.”

He continued, “I made the decision to leave Ibiza this morning before the island won again.” I’m no longer able to live the lifestyle I once had in Ibiza. Now that I’m sober, entering the ocean is very different for me.

I honestly believed I would be able to handle it, but I realized I was just getting worse by hiding in the restaurant or leaving early, which is completely uncharacteristic. When all those people are “very merry,” it’s difficult to be the center of attention for them because of the music, the sunshine, the performances, the dancers, the atmosphere, the venue, the orange cups in the air, and what seems like an eternity of bikinis.

“In rehab therapists talk about triggers, which basically means staying away from environments, places, certain people, events etc that will lead to temptation – and let’s face it, there is no bigger trigger in the world than Ocean for me.

I’m hopeful that I’ll discover a new version of myself that will transport me to Ibiza’s heartstrings one day. but for the moment, I just need to heal, which recovery is all about. If there is anyone else reading this who is experiencing the same fate, that is okay. You can face your demons. Get yourself help, because choosing to go to rehab was the best choice I’ve ever made!

“Next week, I’m going back to Priory Life Works @priorygroup and participating in a special interview and podcast with the production team at Priory Life Works Surrey to discuss how rehab altered my life and ultimately kept me alive.”

One of Wayne’s fans wrote in the comments section, “Well done and it’s great when people with a platform share their story – there are many people who need to go sober and seeing someone being open about it and the struggles will help.”

Another wrote, “Top man. Wayne, that is the wisest choice you will ever make. The most powerful thing to ever do is to recognize a trigger and take yourself out of yourself, according to another author.

Emmerdale star Max Parker thrills fans with steamy military drama trailer

Soap fans are frothing over former Emmerdale star Max Parker’s upcoming new TV show – appearing in a coming-of-age military drama weeks after getting married to fromer co-star

Former Emmerdale star Max Parker has turned on his fans after yelling like a marine commander while promoting his latest TV project. The 33-year-old soap star will soon be seen in the new Netflix comedy-drama Boots.

The eight-part series is based on the memoir The Pink Marine by Greg Cope White and follows a character named Cameron Cope, played by 13 Reasons Why star Miles Heizer. Former ITV star Max plays the character Sergeant Robert “Bobby” Sullivan who is seen barking at new recruits in the official trailer.

Eagle-eyed fans watching the trailer for the new series – which is due to stream on Netflix from 9 October – have spotted Max whipping off his top for a suggestive scene. The actor, who married fellow Emmerdale hunk Kris Mochrie in August, has been whipping fans into a frenzy of excitement about the show.

Over on Instagram, he has been promoting the series, sharing a trailer on his main feed. He wrote alongside the clip: “LISTEN UP RECRUITS!!! Here’s the trailer for our new show #BOOTS. GET READY FOR OCT 9 only on @netflix.”

And fans seemed more than ready to follow their orders – with one writing in response: “CAN NOT WAIT to see this! Congratulations!” And another typing: “This looks fantastic” along with clapping hands emojis.

In a recent interview with Hunger Magazine, Max shared how his personal life influenced his performance in the show.

He explained: “I did put a lot of stuff from my own personal life into this thing… He’s searching for something… He’s lost, but he’s also got this anger that he’s getting out into the world in ways that he doesn’t necessarily mean to. He’s just trying to be what people expect him to be, which is why the more scripts that I got sent, it was pretty obvious that I was perfect to do it.”

He added: “Does that sound bigheaded? That’s not what I meant!” Max also explained how ruthless his training was to get in shape for the show, which led him to a military training camp in New Orleans, where he learned exactly what Marines go through.

He revealed: “It was a baptism of fire for me. I don’t come from a military background, so I didn’t really know what the hell was going on. I think it helped in [learning to be] a drill instructor, knowing exactly the things that would get to a lot of the recruits when you’re screaming in their faces.

“I think I permanently damaged my voice from screaming. I used to sing back in the day, so I have a few tricks to bring the voice back, but it was relentless.”

His description is echoed by co-star Miles, who recently said of Max to Attitude magazine: “He’s so different than in real life. It’s incredible. He’s so intense and intimidating. I was so impressed because, again, our connection is so different in real life.”

Boots is created by Andy Parker and directed by Peter Hoar – and includes Vera Farmiga within the cast. The eight part drama is due for release on Netflix on Thursday 9 October.

The Crown’s Erin Richards reveals second pregnancy with bump reveal on red carpet

Erin Richards, the lead actress at the BAFTA Cymru Awards in Newport, revealed that she is expecting her second child.

In a flowing, colorful silk gown, the 39-year-old actress showcased her growing baby bump to the crowd at the International Convention Center. As the talented actress explained the exciting news of her new baby, the actress gently rested her hand on her stomach.

The actress is best known for her roles in the US drama Gotham and The Crown as Barbara Kean and Kelly Fisher, Dodi Fayed’s ex-partner. Her work spans both the stage and the screen, and she is well-known both domestically and internationally.

Fans will recall Erin’s first pregnancy announcement in 2022 at the series five premiere at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, which marked a very special second chapter for her growing family.

Erin was seen with a diamond ring on her left hand, which piqued people’s interest in her partner, despite maintaining her mostly private life. She continues to captivate audiences with both her professional work and her personal accomplishments despite keeping her private life largely a secret.

Other notable stars attended the BAFTA Cymru Awards, including Strictly Come Dancing expert Amy Dowden, who had just been cut from the BBC One competition along with Thomas Skinner, who had just been fired from the show.

Amy seemed to drown out her sorrows by soaking up the atmosphere on the exciting night as she appeared stunning in a red velvet dress. In week two, Amy and Thomas energetically performed Bonkers by Dizzeee Rascal on the Strictly Come Dancing stage.

However, their run on the show ended when Chris Robshaw and Nadiya Bychkova squared off in the first Results Show. The bottom two couples were determined using the judges’ scores from the first live show, which was conducted without a public vote, and the results from last night’s public vote.

Following three votes in favor of Chris and Nadiya, Thomas and Amy were declared inadmissible by the judges. This week’s decisive vote gave the confirmation that Motsi Mabuse could have saved Chris and Nadiya if necessary.

Thomas said to Tess Daly after a brief but enjoyable stay: “I’ve loved it. Amy is amazing despite the fact that I’ve never danced before and my stay was brief. It’s been a lot of fun. Although I can’t dance very well, I really enjoyed it. Amy, I appreciate it. Sorry, but we didn’t do well; you’re in a different class.

Amy responded, “I need to get to know the real Tom, and he’s adorable. He has taken care of me. We’ve had a lot of laughter. Although we’ve worked so hard, a glitterball would have been amazing, but I’ve come to understand that happiness, health, and being alive are more important than anything.

Amy and Thomas were voted out of Strictly Come Dancing tonight
Strictly Come Dancing tonight (BBC) featured Amy and Thomas being eliminated.

I’ve made a lifetime of friends, and I wouldn’t make any changes. I’m a little disappointed that a Ballroom boy didn’t get to do the Ballroom, but I’ve had a difficult time over the past three years, as you know. I lost all my self-assurance as a dancer, but when I walked into your room with a big smile and a laugh, I was reunited and, to be honest, I’m grateful.

Thomas praised Amy for her talent and guidance, leaving the dance floor with plenty of memorable moments and an early exit.

Amber Davies, a co-star of Strictly Come Dancing, and Amy left after her exit, and they were there for the awards tonight. At the glittery event, BBC star Amber donned a striking black leotard that was layered on top of a sequined skirt.

Her raven hair was backcombbed to add volume and a nod to classic Hollywood glamour, while her tall black heels, which added both height and poise, elevated the look.
