Andre Agassi’s life now with wife Steffi Graf after only four people attended wedding

What has André Agassi been up to since he retired from tennis, one of the most successful players of all time? Agassi has won eight Grand Slam titles during his career.

One of the sport’s most enduring figures is Andre Agassi, a tennis maverick best known for his mullet, earrings, and rebellious streak that shook it in the 1990s. The American ace quickly rose to fame when he was just 16 and won 60 ATP Tour singles titles in a split year.

His glittering career boasts eight Grand Slam wins – including four Australian Opens, a French Open, Wimbledon and two US Opens – making him one of only five men in the Open Era to achieve a career Grand Slam. He also bagged Olympic gold in singles at the 1996 Atlanta Games, cementing his status as a global superstar.

Off the court, Agassi’s journey was as dramatic as his baseline battles: from a troubled youth driven by his demanding father to a mid-career slump and triumphant resurgence, culminating in his retirement in 2006 after an emotional US Open farewell. Now, at 55, Agassi’s net worth is estimated to be around £108million ($145m), boosted by smart investments and endorsements, but his love for racket sports – and life beyond tennis – shows no sign of waning.

BBC Wimbledon role

This year marked a new chapter for Agassi, with two high-profile roles thrusting him back into the limelight. First, he made his debut as a co-commentator for the BBC at Wimbledon, providing analysis during the men’s semi-final between defending champion Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz.

Agassi, who famously claimed the Wimbledon crown in 1992, delivered a treasure trove of expertise, offering tales from his competitive career and dissecting the play with sharp tennis acumen. The BBC’s masterstroke in landing the American icon was universally applauded, with his polished presentation and profound understanding drawing parallels to broadcasting’s elite.

Supporters were ecstatic in their praise and flooded social media with requests to make the American a permanent addition. One observer wrote on X: “Throughly enjoying Andre Agassi’s commentary… has a great voice to listen to and enjoying all the anecdotes.”

One person called him “a revelation in the commentary box,” while the other called him “a revelation in the commentary box.”

Laver Cup Organizing

Agassi took over from fellow tennis legend John McEnroe in a position that combines tactics, inspiration, and celebrity appeal in the wake of his second new assignment as the skipper of Team World at the 2025 Laver Cup. Agassi and deputy captain Pat Rafter worked together to lead the lineup that included Fritz and Alex de Minaur during the tournament, which pits a European squad against representatives from all over the world.

Team World defeated Team Europe, a squad made up of Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, and Casper Ruud, 15-9, under the direction of Agassi. Agassi praised the experience during his first year as skipper in his victory speech following.

Before turning to his team directly, he said, “It’s been one hell of a week,” “Thank you for trust, thank you for buying in, thank you for allowing me to enter your lives for a brief period of time.”

Agassi’s enthusiasm for the Laver Cup, which was reflected in humor in moments like his gobsmacked response to a given point, gave the game a new life.

Interested in pickleball

Beyond these broadcasting and captaincy duties, Agassi has strengthened his connections to the thriving world of racket sports through a major investment in pickleball and padel. In June, he participated in a £15m Series A funding round for Ballers, a start-up launching premium indoor sports and entertainment venues across the US.

Supported by fellow athletes like Sloane Stephens, Kim Clijsters and NBA legend Dwyane Wade, Ballers plans to establish social clubs combining pickleball, padel and other pursuits with dining and events. Agassi, a passionate supporter of pickleball’s expansion, expressed his excitement for the project on Instagram. “It’s the fastest-growing sport in the world, possible even in history,” he said.

“I really believe in it from a participation standpoint because it’s a low point of entry, and nobody is afraid to try it,” said one participant. “I love it. Anything that is rapidly expanding will attract a lot of people’s disputes, according to my public company, Agassi Sports Entertainment.

I want to expand what those people do by giving those who have won a chance to go public. That is the outlook. The goal is to be innovative and a catalyst for greater growth.

Agassi participated in exhibition matches earlier this year, sometimes with his wife Steffi Graf, and won a mixed doubles championship.

His wedding had four guests.

Agassi’s personal life is deeply rooted in family, which contrasts sharply with his high-energy tennis era. His marriage to wife Steffi began in the late 1990s as a result of a coaching session they had.

Agassi and Graf had a very successful relationship after splitting from actress Brooke Shields, which led to their intimate wedding in Las Vegas in October 2001. Only four people, Agassi, Graf, and their respective mothers, were present in accordance with their desire for privacy.

No extravagant events or hordes of guests are present; all is a simple ceremony. Jaden Gil, their son, and Jaz Elle, their daughter, were born a few days later.

Real Housewives of London star among celebs at exclusive launch of gifting brand

In honor of Roxy Wraps, a gifting and wrapping service from Katrina Aleksa, Nicola McLean and I’m A Celebrity favorite, Nicola McLean also attended the plush Mayfair lunch held at Apollo’s Muse.

Celebrities turned out for the launch of a new luxury gifting service. Real Housewives of London star Juliet Mayhew, Big Brother favourite Nicola McLean and model Kamile Spann were among those at the exclusive Mayfair lunch.

Roxy Wraps, a new gifting, wrapping, and concierge service founded by founder Katrina Aleksa, was the subject of a lavish event held at Apollo’s Muse in London. A stunningly decorated table, which exemplifies Katrina’s skilled eye for detail, served guests champagne and steak and sea bass. And they left with handmade chocolates in personalized boxes.

Katrina, who has a background in art consulting and curating, wants to make gifting more accessible through curated sourcing and bespoke wrapping and has plans to launch an exclusive events membership in the fall. Additionally, she co-founded the organization that supports women in the art industry, AWITA (Association of Women in the Arts).

Her bespoke gifting combines aesthetics, emotional storytelling, and exclusivity with her vision for Roxy Wraps.

Juliet, a member of Real Housewives of London, is anticipating a second season of the Hayu show. The streaming service’s first original British entry into the global franchise was Auguest when it launched it.

The debut cast has already established themselves with a fusion of class, humor, and layered drama that is very London, including those of Juliet Angus, Amanda Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, Panthea Parker, and Nessie Welschinger. The series provides a lavish yet surprisingly raw examination of capital life’s friendship, status, and reinvention.

The women have fought over loyalty, appearances, lifestyles, and, in one particularly memorable instance, borrowing clothes throughout the first season. Episodes like “White Witches and Warm Champagne” and “Alcohol & Ozempic” provide an example of how quickly a champagne brunch can become a battleground.

As the finale loomed, tensions simmered between Juliet, Amanda and Panthea — feuds that would inevitably resurface once host Katherine Ryan sat them down under the studio lights for the reunion show, which is out on Monday.

She admits, “how fresh some of the drama still felt surprised me the most.” Emotions were raw even after the movie had finished.

These weren’t for show; they were the result of discussions between Juliet, Angus, and Amanda. Sometimes production had to step in just to “de-escalate” or “to de-escalate”.

However, Katherine quickly remark that the series isn’t all about Versace and venom. She responds, “There were apologies and really soft moments.” Many of these women have experienced heartache or trauma. Trust, not just gossip, is frequently the topic of their conflicts. The show becomes incredibly interesting because of the genuine vulnerability I witnessed.

The Buggles’ legend Trevor Horn shocks fans with unexpected appearance with Sophie Grey

Trevor Horn, a legend of music, gave a surprise performance alongside Sophie Grey over the weekend at her recent performance in Kentish Town.

Legendary producer and Buggles co-founder Trevor Horn stunned fans on Friday by taking to the stage for a surprise performance. The star joined rising musician Sophie Grey during her gig at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London for an impromptu performance.

The crowd was delighted to see the duo perform Video Killed the Radio Star at the event. Many people praised an unanticipated duet on social media.

One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, gushed, “Just saw Trevor Horn play one song with Sting’s support act at Kentish Town Forum on stage.” Great work, indeed”!

In the one-off collaboration, Horn and Sophie reimagined the well-known hit. The upcoming star’s Retro Electro sound and the song’s enduring new-wave energy were merged. And it was obvious that she had assembled a remarkable set.

Her new version of the song was released shortly after the performance. It is said to have a retro-inspired, slow-burning synth production.

As history repeats itself and electronics rise once more, Sophie previously remarked of the song, “Video Killed the Radio Star is a timeless song.”

The University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music taught the pianist and keyboardist classical music. Dr. Patrice Rushen, a songwriter and GRAMMY-nominated author, mentored her.

The Buggles’ music video, Video Killed the Radio Star, debuted on MTV for the first time in August 1981. On August 1, the phrase “Ladies and gentlemen…rock and roll” was heard loudly at the time.

The first video started playing at that time. And it was The Buggles’ hit song, which unsurprisingly surprised some people. The song, however, had already been played for two years and wasn’t brand-new.

The band formed when Horn met his future Buggles guitarist Geoff Downes and played together in Tina Charles’ band in the late 1970s. When it first aired on the charts in 1979, their song was at the top.

The pair then recorded their drama album together, joining Yes. The band then produced the 1983 album 90125 that won the Grammys.

He later co-produced the films Fly From Here and Big Generator from 1987. Fans were shocked to learn that Horn was included on a surprise Friday night performance, but it comes as he prepares for a short tour.

At the end of the year, he’ll give three concerts. He’ll be playing shows in London, Manchester, and Newcastle during the gigs.

Sophie will also be extending her own tour to other locations in London. She most recently made an appearance on Marianas Trench and Shaggy.

Roman Kemp admits ‘I feel a bit lost’ as he opens up about ‘worries’

Roman Kemp has always been open about how he has battled mental illness.

Roman Kemp admits he feels “a bit lost” as he sought out hypnotherapy to address his “worries”. The One Show star even found himself “questioning fame” before he went to speak to his therapist.

Roman, 32, has previously been open about how therapy “saved his life” after admitting he has struggled with depression and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) during his life. He has even discussed his struggles with mental health with close friend and popstar Ed Sheeran.

He claimed, “Ed told me that the top has a lot of dirty water that gradually turns into clear water.” The water becomes clearer as I talk about my feelings more frequently.

Roman, who had struggled in recent weeks as well, was assisted by another popular artist. He claims that he had a Wham! vision while being hypnotized. George Michael urged him to “look after” his family.

The Careless Whisper singer’s parents, Martin and Shirlie Kemp, were close friends. Shirley regularly performed as a backing singer for George and Andrew Ridgeley, along with Dee C. Lee.

On his You About page? Roman, a singer, said in a podcast interview that he felt “a little lost right” as he reportedly “took a mild hypnotherapy” to explain where he is now and why he doesn’t care about certain things anymore.

“I was questioning fame and whether or not I want to do this anymore and all those types of things. Like, why don’t I just stop and walk away and then George Michael came in my face, which was weird.

He looked at me and said, “Ro, just remember, none of this matters.” He stated that you are the only ones who need to care for your family: Harley, your dad, and your mother. That’s all I care about, I thought.

Roman spearheaded the BBC3 documentary Roman Kemp: Our Silent Emergency, which examined mental health, in 2021. Joe Lyons, a producer for Capital Radio, passed away, and this was the catalyst for this.

The former Capital Breakfast host said at the time, “I’m still thinking about his passing.” I’m back in the worst situation I’ve ever been in my life every time I step back into the Capital studios. I constantly have flashbacks.

Roman claims to have used medication to treat his depression throughout his life. He continued, “I’ve always regulated it fairly well by taking tablets and antidepressants.

Roman will be among the celebrities appearing on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel from 8.20pm on BBC One. He will be starring alongside the likes of Susan Wokoma, Layton Williams, Katherine Ryan, Jill Scott, Joe Marler, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith.
