After spotting shady things in the first season of The Celebrity Traitors, viewers are persuaded that one of the contestants is working with host Claudia Winkleman in secret.

As fans watch the first batch of UK celebrities take on The Traitors castle, some are convinced that one contestant is secretly working with host Claudia Winkleman to find the Traitors.

The first-ever Celebrity Traitors is currently airing on the BBC, with a star-studded cast including Tom Daley, Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, and Kate Garraway. But viewers are now keeping an especially close eye on Celia Imrie, who is known known from her recent role in the Thursday Murder Club, as they’re convinced the actress is secretly working with Claudia to find the Traitors as a ‘secret detective’.

One fan called Evie Dean has taken to TikTok to discuss the theory further, as she went on to explain the different theories surrounding Celia and Claudia.

“Some of you now think that Celia is secretly working with Claudia on the Traitors,” she told her viewers.

She went on to explain that fans of the show believe Celia is a ‘secret detective’ on the show, as fans claim they’ve spotted Claudia giving her a sneaky wink whenever she gives a correct guess at the round table. Meanwhile, when Claudia doesn’t wink to Celia, it means that the person she’d guessed isn’t a Traitor.

Ellie also mentioned how Claudia is spotted hanging up the participants’ portraits in the first episode, and Celia can be seen winking at her. Claudia merely responded, “knockout.”

People are persuaded that something is happening between them because “literally none of that makes sense,” Ellie said.

She went on to say that people believe Celia has been ‘snooping’ around, with some also arguing that her farting on the show was a way for her to cover up the fact that she’s been a detective.

However, there has been disagreement among viewers regarding whether or not Celia has a unique role on the show because some claim that all Faithfuls are technically “detectors” as they try to discover who the Traitors are.

As one user pointed out that there might be new rules for this season, several fans quickly took to the video’s comments section to share their own opinions.

The user then continued, “Ye after the role received positive reactions in the last normal series, but I can’t recall whether or not it would be in the celeb version.”

Another user added that “the original game of this has a very similar role called soufsayer.”
