Heart Radio host Ashley Roberts revealed this morning that she had hurt herself in an accident, which had left her with an injury and a ‘bruised’ ego after people saw it happen
A warning was issued by Ashley Roberts this morning as she revealed that she’d injured herself. She recalled an accident in a video message shared with fans today and later unveiled the result, showcasing the injury that she had sustained.
Ashley, 43, revealed on Instagram earlier that she had fallen down some stairs and grazed her leg. The Heart Radio host and ex Strictly star, who rose to fame as a member of the Pussycat Dolls, teased that she had been rushing to get a taxi at the time. She told her followers that her shin was “on fire” following the incident and later shared a photo of a bloodied bruise where she had cut her leg. Ashley went on to tease that her ego was “bruised” after it happened in front of people.

The radio host first recalled the incident in a video on her Instagram Story this morning. She warned fans to “slow down” following her experience and later shared the same “reminder” in one of her follow-up posts on the platform.
Ashley began her video by telling fans: “Just coming on here to remind y’all to slow the eh down. Me thinking ‘oh I need to rush. I gotta get to my Uber. I don’t want them to give me like a low score. I don’t wanna make them wait.'”
Recalling the accident, she continued: “Tumble down the stairs in heels in front of everybody. Yeah, that just happened.” After inhaling, she shared that she was experiencing discomfort, saying: “And now my shin is on fire y’all.”

Ashley concluded it by warning against rushing. She told viewers: “Slow down. We don’t need to be in a rush. Everything’s okay. Just a little reminder for ya.” She then promised to show her injury, saying: “Gotta show you my shin.”
She went on to share a photo that had seemingly been taken in the back of the taxi after she had fallen down the stairs shortly beforehand. A lengthy graze down the middle of Ashley’s left leg was visible in the photo.
The dancer was seen sporting a pair of white heels in the photo, after having previously mentioned her footwear when recalling her fall down the stairs. Ashley wrote in the caption of her second post: “Slow. Down. Friendly reminder.”
She later thanked her followers for their support after posting about her experience on Instagram(Image: Instagram/iamashleyroberts)
Ashley later thanked fans for sending well wishes. Her third post included a photo of her with an ice pack on her leg whilst she sat on a sofa. Ashley was seen giving a thumbs up to the camera in the selfie that she shared recently.

She expressed gratitude for the support she had received in the caption that accompanied it and teased that her ego had been “bruised”. She wrote to her followers: “Thx for all the messages! Just a bruised chin and ego my hunni’s. Love ya.”

Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne had a very sweet moment with Yungblud while backstage at his epic Villa Park send-off show over the weekend when he presented a gift
Ozzy Osbourne was gifted a touching retirement gift while at his last ever show this weekend. The iconic rocker, 76, decided to mark the end of his reign as the Prince of Darkness with one of the biggest farewell shows ever.
Many of the world’s greatest rock bands headed to Villa Park, Birmingham in an effort to make Ozzy’s last performance with Black Sabbath the most memorable ever. One of those was Yungblud, who performed on stage before Ozzy made his appearance.
He took time backstage to meet Ozzy as they shared a tender moment together. Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, presented the rock legend with a very special gift in between sound checks.

He told Ozzy: “I made you something,” as he presented Ozzy with a large wooden box. “Obviously you gave me your cross and I wanted to return the favour, so I made you something.”
Ozzy opened the box and exclaimed: “Oh my god, that is f***ing unbelievable.” Yungblud held up his own necklace and revealed he has never taken it off since Ozzy gave him it, and decided to present Ozzy with another necklace “to return the favour”.
“That’s really good, thank you,” Ozzy told Yungblud as he reached over for a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Yungblud told him: “I love you,” as Ozzy responded: “Love you.”
“Thanks Dom, that’s so f***ing cool. That’s very special. That’s great, thank you so much.” Yungblud held out his own necklace as Ozzy held them both together in a sweet moment between them.
Ozzy told him: “If there is anything we can ever do for you…,” as Yungblud responded: “You know what, the f***ing music was enough. Thank you so much honestly, you gave me an outlet. Everyone thought I was too f***ing mad and I was like ‘nah man I’m like Ozzy’.”
Speaking of the touching moment, Yungblud added: “Back in 2022 on the video shoot for The Funeral, Ozzy gave me his gold cross and said ‘I hope this brings you luck’.

“I thought, on this monumental moment for him and Sabbath, it was time for me to return the favour and let him know what he and the band means to me”
It wasn’t the only surprise for Ozzy backstage on Saturday, as his daughter Kelly Osbourne got engaged to partner Sid Wilson. After the incredible show, the Osbourne family were treated to a beautiful surprise as Kelly’s longtime partner Sid proposed in front of her parents Ozzy and Sharon.
Taking to Instagram to share the joyful news, Kelly, 40, posted the sweet video of Sid’s proposal as he asked to spend the rest of his life with the former reality TV star. Alongside the video, Kelly wrote: “Oh, and this happened yesterday.”
In the heartwarming clip, Sharon was heard saying: “We’ve got to be quiet, hold on,” as she shushed the crew backstage at show. Kelly’s now fiancé told her: “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world.”

However, Sid’s romantic proposal was swiftly interrupted by a playful Ozzy who shouted: “F*** off! You’re not marrying my daughter.” Clearly familiar with Ozzy’s banter, Sid laughs and continues asking Kelly the all-important question.

Amid rumours of a rift with his own family, Brooklyn Beckham was seen enjoying a holiday abroad with his in-laws in a video shared by his wife Nicola Peltz this week. The family have been soaking up the sun on a summer vacation.
Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, headed to Saint-Tropez in France recently for a getaway with some of her family. The couple were spotted out shopping on the trip abroad this week, with them looking loved up in the area. It’s understood that have spent time onboard a yacht on the holiday. They are thought to have been joined by Nicola’s parents Nelson Peltz, 83, and Claudia Peltz, 70, as well as her brothers Will Peltz, 39, and Zach Peltz, 22.

Nicola gave glimpses into the trip on Instagram yesterday. It included posting about her “fam fam” by sharing footage of herself and Brooklyn socialising with other members of their party whilst on the family holiday this week.
The video showed the couple stood beside other guests, including Will and Zach. She wrote: “Fam fam.” The group, including Brooklyn, were seen raising champagne flutes in a toast in the post and he later shared it on his account.
Another post shared by Nicola showed the couple’s bed. It had fairylights draped over it and a candles were visible in lanterns placed around the room, in an apparent gesture by her husband Brooklyn. Tagging him, she wrote in the caption: “You’re my world.” He later shared that post too.
Brooklyn spending time with his in-laws comes following the suggestion that he “doesn’t really feel like he fits into” his own family at the moment. The speculation comes amid rumours of a rift between Brooklyn and his parents, David Beckham, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, in recent months.
It was reported on the weekend that Brooklyn is expected to miss his youngest sibling Harper Beckham’s 14 birthday on Thursday amid rumoured tension with his parents. A source told the Mirror: “He took a stand and missed his dad’s 50th so he’s not likely to suddenly do a U-turn and forget everything that’s happened, as much as he loves Harper.”
It came amid a holiday abroad with the Peltz family, during which Nicola described her husband Brooklyn as her ‘world’ in a separate post
The source said: “He didn’t want it to turn out this way and he’s always been really close to all his siblings, but he is a married man now and his priorities have to lie somewhere else.” They added: “He just doesn’t feel his family have treated Nicola well and now that he’s grown so close to her family in the States, he doesn’t really feel like he fits into the Beckham family right now.”
Brooklyn married into the Peltz family in 2022. Last week, he expressed his love for them in a post marking his father-in-law Nelson’s birthday, sharing a heart emoji alongside a group photo from celebrations for the occasion.
Nicola wrote in her post for the occasion: “Happy birthday dad! I am so lucky to be your daughter, you’re the most loving and supportive father I could ever dream of. I love you more than I could ever begin to express – you’re the wind beneath my wings. I loved celebrating you yesterday! Thank you for always being there for us – our constant love and support.”

Amid rumours of a rift with David and Victoria, Brooklyn and Nicola have publicly supported each other. Just like she did in her post yesterday, Brooklyn previously suggested that his wife is “his world” in a post shared last month, for example.

Mick Michaelis, the evil character Joe Layton, is back to cause chaos in Weatherfield, but Joe Layton claims to have received a lot of online abuse from viewers.
Joe Layton is back in Corrie.
Colson Smith pardoned Corrie cop killer Joe Layton for brutally attacking his beloved character PC Craig Tinker with a baseball bat. The same can’t be said for Weatherfield residents, whose lives will be in danger when Joe’s character Mick Michaelis explodes after a dramatic jailbreak.
As he tries to snatch his kids and flee abroad, Mick lands DC Kitt Green in hospital, needing lifesaving surgery. Joe, 33, who is leaving the soap, says of Colson: “He was such a positive energy and for the other cast and crew there’s obviously a massive Colson-sized hole everywhere at Coronation Street. “But we had a good chat when we first met and continued to chat.
“We were both Leeds United fans, so we bonded over that pretty quickly. And I was just struck by what a lovely warm-hearted person he is.“He never made me feel in any way shape or form: ‘I’m doing this bad thing to this popular character.’” Playing a Corrie baddie has prompted some unexpected encounters. Joe tells The Mirror: “I was in Scotland with my sister who lives up there. We were sitting outside a restaurant having a drink and a lady came out from the restaurant.

She said, “Should you not be in prison? ” and then she looked at me and said, “Bye bye.”
She claimed that she and the five other women who were seated in front of the window, including the Scottish constabulary’s head, were all police officers. Since Monstrous Mick first touched the cobbles in February, Corrie fans have been on the edge of their seats.
Joe claims that his younger self would have rejected the role if he had been spotted by a US agent at age 22 and moved to the US, where he spent six years before being promised Hollywood stardom. Joe, who came back to the country five years ago, says, “I think I would have said “no” if you had asked me when I moved to America if I’d ever do a soap. ” I don’t mean to disrespect soaps, but I didn’t think I should watch them.
“I’m just so happy that I was offered the role in Coronation Street when I was. I’d grown up a bit and my attitude towards work had changed. “It’s a great lesson for me that you should try everything, because what I experienced in my six months at Coronation Street was incredible.” And he will be leaving the cobbles with a bang, as Mick causes mayhem after his jail break.
Joe warns, “No-one on the street is safe. He has already killed Craig and attacked Kit, something we have seen his capabilities. His strategy is to seek refuge in his children and flee. We see a different side to him and how important his children are to him.
“Serving a life sentence isn’t something he can deal with and he’ll do whatever it takes to get out of the country and take his kids with him.” Joe’s big break came 11 years ago when he landed the lead role in the BBC drama series Tatau.
Joe has a proven acting background and made his big comeback in the 2015 US television series Tatau.
He recalls, “I came out of drama school and hit the ground running.” Tatau gave me the opportunity to travel there and on top of that, I was picked up by a US manager and US agent.
They declared, “You’re going to come over and do whatever you want to do.” Why wouldn’t you believe that when you were in your early 20s?
However, he quickly realized renting a studio apartment in the heart of Los Angeles was terrible. “It was great, but it was like living next door to Harrods without any money,” he says. “I was walking past all these lovely restaurants and shops, but I was also cooking baked beans in my apartment.”
Still, he was delighted to land a role in the hit American TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “When I first drove into the Universal Studio parking lot, I remember sitting in my car calling my dad saying ‘you’ll never guess where I am,’” he smiles.
However, life in LA might be challenging despite this amazing role. He acknowledges that at times, “I also worked as a carpenter and as a food deliveryman.” In a very large pond, I was a very small fish. At times, it made me feel demoralized, but it also taught me how to walk on two feet.
And when he started being offered bigger jobs back in Blighty, he came home. Since then, he’s worked alongside Jodie Comer in Thirteen, he appeared in the Dawn French comedy The Trouble with Maggie Cole and in the Netflix crime drama Young Wallander, as well as being cast in the BBC series The Bombing of Pan Am 103.
Mick and Lou Michaelis first arrived on the street in February as the nightmare nightmares (Image: ITV)
Then came Mick, one of Corrie’s sexiest characters in recent memory and a wife-punch wrestler. I’ve received a lot of hate online through “Joe recalls” tweets, direct messages, and comments. Everyone seemed to think, “There’s no room for this guy on the street, we don’t like him, get rid, we wish you hadn’t existed as an actor or person!” There can sometimes be a fine line between reality and your character because Corrie is a staple in the lives of so many people and because it has been around for a long time.
“I was lucky that my previous job was The Bombing of Pan Am 103. That was airing at the same time on BBC. So, the night that Craig was killed I was on ITV at 8-9pm and then 9-10pm I was on BBC playing a really nice American character.”
London-born Joe, who grew up in Ilkley in the Yorkshire Dales, wrote a journal as Mick, to help understand his character. “I wrote it first person as Mick,” he explains. “It was just a stream of consciousness. “I was playing an abusive husband who kills a police officer. On paper that’s dreadful and horrible, but my job as an actor is to get to the why and the motivation. You don’t judge the character; you try to understand them and step into their shoes.
Mick has endured letdown and fall through the cracks numerous times in his life, making him a truly wounded, angry man. Sadly, there are many such men out there.

However, Joe won’t be watching his final scenes because he would be happy to go back to Corrie. He is filming a new Apple TV sci-fi series Star City in Lithuania, where he plays a Russian cosmonaut along with Rhys Ifans and Anna Maxwell Martin.

He claims that going right into that was really exciting. Joe is relieved that he won’t have to leave his soap business. He will also be making a UK tour of the play Lost Atoms in September. He claims that when my mother organized for a large gathering of friends and family members to watch my very first TV show, I felt more nervous than I had ever felt performing on stage. he claims. Although I was not particularly interested in it, I still felt self-conscious.
I watched it on ITV at 7 a.m. the morning after Craig’s death, getting ready to watch it with my girlfriend and our friends in the evening!
