Cardi B unleashes furious attack at Elon Musk amidst Kamala Harris ‘puppet’ row
Elon Musk, a billionaire Donald Trump supporter, and Cardi B have a feud.
In a bid to win the White House on November 5, Vice President Kamala Harris and the former The Apprentice star square off. In the run-up to the election later this week, both Trump and the Vice President received endorsements from numerous celebrities, it seems, Musk has been incensed.
The 53-year-old businessman accused the 32-year-old rapper of being “fed words” when she was giving a speech at the Democrat’s rally at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center on Friday (01.11.24) and had an awkward wait when her teleprompter broke. Cardi’s video was posted to his microblogging site X, where Elon wrote, “Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words.” There is no genuineness or empathy in the Kamala campaign. WAP star Cardi retorted her accusations that the Tesla boss “knows nothing” about the “American struggle” and quickly defended herself.
She fumed: “I’m not a puppet Elon.. I was forced to work my ass off as the daughter of two immigrant parents. I’m a product of the welfare system, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty, and I’m a product of what happens when you’re put in the system… But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle…. ]sic]”
In a swipe at Elon, she added: “PS fix my algorithm”. The musician’s speech went on for around 10 minutes and she ended up reading from her smartphone. She began: “I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life. I take the call to speak up, to appear, and to share a message that has been important to me for some time.
Cardi added: “Like Kamala Harris, I’ve been the underdog, underestimated, and had my success belittled. Women must put in ten times more effort and remain unsure of how they achieved success. I can’t stand a bully, but just like Kamala, I always stand up to one”.
Before Kamala was running for president, Cardi had no idea whether to support Joe Biden or Donald Trump, but the former, who will lead the country as the first Black woman president if she wins the November 5 election, “changed” her mind completely. She continued, “I didn’t have faith in any candidates until she joined and said what I wanted to hear about the country’s future.”
” I believe every word she says. She’s passionate, compassionate, empathetic, and most importantly, she’s realistic. Kapala acknowledges that this nation is in danger and that we must increase our economy and lower our living expenses. “She then tore into Trump’s lack of respect for women’s rights and branded him a” hustler”. She said that telling us what to do with our bodies is not about protecting women, especially in terms of maternal and mental health care. It’s about supporting us and making the necessary decisions.
“People like Donald Trump don’t believe women deserve rights. When those rights are threatened, he disappears. I don’t want it if my definition of protection calls for restricting our choices and ensuring that our daughters have fewer rights than our mothers”!
Cardi continued: “Hustling women out of their rights is disgraceful. Hustling Americans out of their hard-earned money by selling Trump watches, Trump sneakers, Trump Bibles… do we really trust this man with our economy? A man who only cares about his billionaire friends’ tax savings and wealth. I don’t even get a tax cut”.
In a video shared on Kamala’s official YouTube channel, Cardi said: “Y’all know, if I’m endorsing it, it’s because I believe in it. So y’all better go and vote – please, we can’t be messed up for the next four years. Please vote, please vote for our kids, and for you”!
One of the entertainers who has voiced their support for Kamala Harris is the rapper. Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Taylor Swift have all expressed their support for Harris and her hopes that she will become the first woman to lead the country. Speaking at a rally on October 15 in her hometown of Houston, Texas, Beyoncé said: “I’m not here as a celebrity. I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother. Your freedom is your God-given right, your human right”.
Taylor Swift previously stated on Instagram that she would be casting her vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz that there would only be one president for her. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because, in my opinion, we need a warrior to fight for their cause. I believe she is a wise, steady-handed leader, and that if we are guided by calm rather than chaos, we can accomplish a lot more in this nation. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades”.
Eminem, a hip-hop icon, gave President Obama a speech at a rally held in his Detroit hometown on October 22. Amber Rose has also expressed her support for Donald Trump as he tries to reclaim the White House the following week. She addressed the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in May of 2024, and she later shared a photo of herself with Donald and his wife Melania on social media with the tagline “Trump 2024.”
Zachary Levi has backed the businessman with force, too. Prior to being backed by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., he had previously backed Trump, but he lost support for him after his campaign was suspended. He said: “We are going to take back this country. President Trump is the man who can lead us there from the two options that we have, and we only have two.
Meanwhile, Olympian, reality star and philanthropist Caitlyn Jenner has always been vocal about supporting Trump. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, she shared a snap of her ballot paper. She said: “I voted. Even in ‘ blue ‘ California. CA has far more Trump supporters than you ‘ ‘ imagine! Vote, no matter how blue you believe the state is! Caitlyn later told an online follower: “Yea it is. As I’ve said for years, it was easier to come out as trans than a Trump supporter. I lost my TV career, endorsement deals, commercial deals, etc. lol it’s insane”.
