Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son, continued to fight with his family when he ignored a family member’s milestone birthday.
Brooklyn Beckham has made his feelings about his family incredibly clear amid an ongoing feud between the eldest Beckham child and the rest of the famous clan. But now it seems it’s not just close family that he’s removed from his life, as the chef/photographer has snubbed a major birthday for his cousin Finlay.
Today (22 September) almost all of the Beckhams took to Instagram to share sweet tributes to Finlay, the son of Victoria Beckham’s sister, as he celebrated his 21st birthday.
Victoria posted an old photo of her nephew with a message reading, “Happy birthday. We love you!!!” and Romeo followed suit, with a picture of the two of them as children. He wrote underneath: “Happy birthday broskie.” Cruz also posted a picture of him and his cousin. In it, they looked very dapper in dress shirts and bowties, and the youngest Beckham boy added a simple “Happy birthday” below.
Brooklyn hasn’t posted in the meantime. He has not ignored his first significant family birthday, which is far from it. Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham were the only Beckhams who didn’t attend the birthday celebrations earlier this month, and he was the only one to do so. Despite being in London at the time, the oldest Beckham child also snubbed his father’s 50th birthday celebrations and made no public remarks about his knighthood.

When he ignored Romeo’s birthday, an insider revealed to Metro that it was “unrealistic” to expect him to post about his brothers after they mocked his varied careers and then blocked him on Instagram.
“Brooklyn has been the subject of two of his brothers’ public teasing, and they even blocked them and Nicola a few months ago. Therefore, it is unwise to anticipate him extending an olive branch.
Brooklyn also stayed silent last week when the first trailer for a Netflix documentary about mum Victoria was released. In 2023, when his father’s documentary, Beckham, came out, Brooklyn posted about it frequently and attended the premiere with the rest of his family. But this time, he has been radio silent.
The most recent series of snubs came after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham held a vow renewal and chose not to invite any of Brooklyn’s family. During his speech, Brooklyn decalred his love for Nicola but also the Peltz family, not once mentioning the Beckhams.
He spoke from the heart, according to a source close to the couple, and Nicola Peltz, who he loves dearly, as well as the Peltz family, has been at his side. He aspired to do them all justice and was determined to do them all that.
Some fans think Victoria is ready to abandon her oldest child. Brooklyn and how much the family missed her on social media used to be mentioned frequently by the former Spice Girl. But she doesn’t seem to be doing it, despite posting photos Brooklyn is conspicuously absent from.
According to a source close to the Beckhams, “Victoria’s heart is breaking behind closed doors.” She worries that she won’t ever be able to bring him back because Brooklyn is her firstborn. Without her and David, it was difficult to see him and Nicola renew their vows. They have already missed some significant family moments, and Victoria is concerned that the less chance there is that it will be resolved the longer it continues.
