After his own wife viciously cut him out of the movie he was directed in, Brooklyn Beckham was devastated.
Victoria and David, Victoria’s 25-year-old son, struggled to find a career after growing up in the lap of luxury with millionaire parents. He got married to American actress Nicola Peltz, a billionaire heiress who will inherit sizable sums of money in 2022, and they were married.
When Nicola, 30, began working on her directorial debut, the 2024 flop film Lola, she allowed Brooklyn – who has failed to build a career as a model, barista, photographer and chef – to take on background work. When he requested a speaking role, he was brutally cut from the movie’s final edit, sparking rumors.
Nicola, who has appeared in the Transformers film series and the psychological horror TV series Bates Motel, expressed her shock at her husband’s actions. And it appears that she was unconcerned about cutting out his limited speaking role in the movie.
She stated to the Hollywood Reporter, “I directed a movie I wrote when I was 23 years old last year.” Brooklyn is still angry with me. He was like, ‘ Can I be in your movie? ‘ And I was like, ‘ Oh my gosh, I would be honoured, but we have to disguise you. ‘
” Obviously he’s covered in tattoos and he’s British. So he did a few parts in the background which, if you pay attention, you can find, but in one scene he’s like, ‘ Can I put the mic on, I wanna say a line? ‘ “
Unfortunately, Brooklyn’s efforts were laughable. Nicola revealed:” I started laughing so hard. His accent was the best ever for British. He ended up being cut out by me! He sat there, in the editing room, he was like, ‘ Did you really just cut me out while I’m sitting here? ‘ I was like, ‘ Yes, I love you so much! ‘ “
Nicola’s actions have reportedly left Brooklyn devastated. A source told the Daily Mail:” Brooklyn loves doing different things. He has watched his parents build theirs his entire life, and he is always looking for the next thing when it comes to Brand Brooklyn.
“His involvement in a movie that is currently being produced in Britain would have been incredible, and it could have improved his life.” But the fact is, he just wasn’t very good. Nicola had the best chance of making a lasting impression on film. She had to let him go, and she made a difficult decision. Brooklyn and Nicola’s representatives have been contacted by The Mirror for comment.
Nicola has not fared well from the film, however, as it has been panned by critics and bombed at the box office. One reviewer wrote on X: “I’m watching Lola, the Nicola Peltz Beckham poverty porn vanity project, and bloody hell it is awful beyond my wildest expectations”.
