According to reports, Brooklyn Beckham believes that father David sided with his younger brother Romeo Beckham and his new girlfriend Kim Turnbull.
David Beckham partied hard as he celebrated turning 50 with his friends and family – minus son Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz. The close-knit family has been rocked by feud allegations between David and Victoria’s eldest son and the rest of the clan. And now, as the former sports star turns 50, all eyes were back on them all.
Unfortunately, Brooklyn was not present at any of the numerous parties the ex-england football captain hosted for himself. And it’s been claimed that Brooklyn chose to stay away because of David’s apparent firmness with those he let join the celebrations.
As well as avoiding the birthday bashes, Brooklyn opted against joining his dad and two brothers, Romeo and Cruz, on a trip to Scotland. David shared a snap to Instagram of him with his two youngest sons, saying they were having “fun times” in Scotland. He tagged Brooklyn in, saying “you were missed”.
However, it appears that Brooklyn was upset with David because he allegedly chose Romeo and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull over Nicola and him. Kim and Brooklyn had a brief romance in 2016.
A source close to Brooklyn told The Sun: “He flew to London with the sole intention of seeing his family and celebrating his dad’s birthday.
He suggested having breakfast or a cup of coffee, but he was informed that Kim would likely attend one of their lavish parties, so he objected. His parents, in his opinion, have preferred Romeo and his new girlfriend over him.
Another source, who claimed Brooklyn had sent his dad a text, but who added that it “felt like box-ticking,” refuted the claims.
It’s not just dad David’s birthday Brooklyn is missing, either. He is said to have opted against attending the iconic Met Gala bash too.
He and his wife Nicola were scheduled to walk the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual event in New York City along with other well-known faces.
However, a source told The Sun: “They cancelled plans to attend the Met because they really intended to be at David’s party on Saturday.
Brooklyn is deeply upset that Nicola has been held accountable for the rift, according to Brooklyn. She is a faithful wife, and she has never told him what to do.
