The Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills both suffered shocking home defeats, which means the final two unbeaten records in the NFL didn’t survive past week five.
After a stellar comeback win over the Eagles, the Denver Broncos transformed into headline-grabbing headliners, before taking a plane to London for Sunday’s game.
The Bills’ unbeaten start was then sealed by the New England Patriots with a statement win in their first primetime game in a year.
Denver defeats the champions
Denver’s 21-17 victory in Philadelphia was a marquee victory because it was not just about defeating the Super Bowl champions but also the way they turned around in their 14-point comeback.
Before Broncos quarterback Bo Nix scored two touchdowns in five fourth-quarter minutes and a late field goal, the Eagles had already won ten games in a row, 12 of them at home, and 20 of 21 overall.
Philadelphia’s 4-1 record is a big deal, but the team’s one-of-its-kind offence worries a lot. DaVonta Smith, the receiver, claims that quarterback Jalen Hurts and receiver DaVonta Smith are not “on the same page.”
With the addition of a real franchise quarterback in Nix and a top head coach in Sean Payton, Denver’s defense, which sacked Hurts six times, had a lot to do with it.
Bills’ upset by the Primetime Patriots
No one witnessed the Patriots marching into Buffalo and defeating Josh Allen’s Bills, but they did so with tremendous character. Nobody expected Denver to win.
Drake Maye’s first primetime game ended with a 23-20 victory with a breakout performance in the final seconds of his field goal drive.
Stefon Diggs, a former Bills receiver, had a big game for Mike Vrabel’s side, thanks to Maye’s toughness and ability to make the right throws at the right times.

Ravens’ chances of winning the playoff?
The Ravens’ season is turning into a nightmare as the Houston Texans beat them 44-10. They were without a lot of defensive players.
One of the pre-season Super Bowl favorites has only a slim chance of making the play-offs because it lost to them for the first time since their biggest home defeat and fell to 1-4 overall.
Baltimore are currently 4-11 when they play without injured superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson, but the real issue is with a team that has historically been associated with defensive toughness over the years.
Bucs, Colts, and Lions win 4-1.
Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, both running backs, combined for a 14th touchdown in the same game to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 37-24.
The league’s top scorers Detroit won four straight victories against teams with winning records, but none came against them.
The Indianapolis Colts are a more surprising 4-1 team. Any team will have a difficult time playing them because they lost to the Las Vegas Raiders 40-6 and quarterback Daniel Jones appears to be a new person.
In Seattle, the Buccaneers traded nine touchdowns for 10 sparkling possessions before the Seahawks scored the winning run with a late interception to bring the 4-1 team to a mesmerizing 38-35 victory.
Saints and Titans receive assistance in first victories
The New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans needed assistance to win their first games, and they did so despite some cliched errors from the New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals.
The Giants forced five turnovers, including one that was crucially returned for a touchdown, and gave Rashid Shaheed the opportunity to score on an 87-yard catch and run to lead the Saints’ 26-14 victory.
Arizona’s lead was blown out to 13-5, largely due to two huge errors, which made things even worse.
First, Emari Demercado misplaced the ball just before crossing the line for a 72-yard touchdown.
Evidently, he did not last week witness Adonai Mitchell’s exact same act of genius.

After suffering a painful 37-22 defeat by the Cowboys, the Jets are now the only winless team in the NFL.
As a result of his return from injury and helping the Washington Commanders defeat the Los Angeles Chargers, Jayden Daniels became the first player in NFL history to record 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in his first 20 career games.
