After their divorce, Sam Asghari has spoken about how he and Britney Spears have a relationship.
Britney, 43, and Sam, 30, began dating back in 2016 after meeting on the set of Britney’s music video for her track Slumber Party. Sam proposed in September 2021 after five years together, and they went on to tie the knot on June 4, 2022, in a glitzy ceremony in Los Angeles.
Sam opened up while Oliver and Kate Hudson were on the Sibling Revelry podcast and rarely talks about their breakup.
“Divorce, separation, break-ups suck for anybody. Of course it’s going to suck but I had the mindset of ‘ I will never be sad that it’s over, I’m always going to be grateful and happy that it ever even happened, ‘” he shared.
Sam then stated that he had no regrets about how things turned out, stating that there would never be any problems and bad things could happen if one did everything with honor and respect and made a second decision.
” If it doesn’t work out, if things end and things happen that you didn’t want to happen, you just have to take a moment and appreciate that it ever even happened. You can’t sit there and dwell and be sad. “
The US star of The Traitors stated later in an interview that dealing with the conservatorship Britney was in between 2008 and 2021, which her father, Jamie Spears, was in charge of.
