A British Got Talent contestant who made an appearance on the ITV talent show in 2014 has revealed that his wife is expecting their first child.
In an adorable Instagram post, Michael Auger revealed that his wife Nicole is expecting their first child. The 35-year-old singer, who is a member of the Collabro singing group, won the 2014 competition.
The singer and Nicole posed outside the Eiffel Tower on Instagram to share the happy news with the audience. Nicole’s bump was captured on camera by Michael on the knee as he eked out, “In the city of love celebrating our new lil love (love heart emoji) #paris #eurostar.”
The pair’s sweet picture was flooded with messages as they posted it. Jamie Lambert, Michael’s bandmate, simply wrote, “Lovely, Lovely, Lovely,” along with a red heart emoji.
“Oh wow!! penned by singer Lauren Samuels!” Congratulations!!!! One person yelled, “Wow! ” while another yelled, “Wow! Omg omg omg!! The best news of all time. I’m happy. What gorgeous bambino will you produce, guys.
Michael and his bandmates Collabro won Britain’s Got Talent in 2014. In 2014, Michael rose to fame. The band was made up of Michael Auger, Jamie Lambert, Matthew Pagan, Thomas J. Redgrave, and Richard Hadfield as members at the time. After the show, the band had success selling more than two million records. However, Richard abruptly left the band in 2016 due to a disagreement over YouTube’s excessive posting of cover songs.
The band continued to perform as a four-piece, growing to the point where Cliff Richard was supported on his Just Fabulous Rock ‘n’Roll Tour of the UK in 2017.
It was obvious that the band would continue to do significant things after their first audition. A standing ovation was given to them as they performed a stirring song from the musical Les Misérables before the judges.
The British praised their efforts when Simon Cowell declared, “Britain has really got talent.” The band made it to the semis after receiving four yeses from the panel.
They signed to Simon Cowell’s record label Syco later that year and won the contest with 26.5% of the vote.
Their debut album, Stars, debuted the following month and immediately soared to the top of the charts.
