Jarrad Branthwaite, a defender for Everton, has agreed to a new five-year contract.
The 23-year-old joined the Toffees from Carlisle United in January 2020 and was the subject of two Manchester United bid rejections last summer.
This summer, he attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Tottenham and Chelsea.
However, Everton view him as a crucial component of the club’s plans as Hill Dickinson Stadium enters a new era.
Branthwaite declared, “I’m over the moon.” It’s been a topic of conversation since the season’s conclusion, and I’m very excited to have it signed now.
