After a recent reunion confirmation, fans of the 1990s boybands will start jogging.

Abz Love has confirmed that he is once more a part of 5ive despite leaving the band for good after 11 years. Fans were enthralled when his announcement made him take to Twitter/X to share his news. He will rejoin Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville and Scott Robinson to belt out the group’s past tunes.

He wrote, “I am once again a member of @itsfiveofficial Thank you all for supporting us, I love you all,” in a post from August 2014, when he announced his exit from the band. Additionally, a cryptic post was shared on the group’s official Twitter account. Alongside Thursday’s date, they wrote: “Loading..”.

Fans were quick to comment on the post, calling the news “exciting”. One user gasped: “It’s happening… it’s really happening”!, while another said they were “Waiting for a J now and a new album”. Jason ‘J ‘ Brown, the band’s reunion, has not yet been made public.

The band teased news on their TikTok page a few days later, which is when the most recent update arrives. A huge electronic billboard was the subject of a video that featured the lyrics to Keep On Movin’s 1999 number one single, Keep On Movin. A caption on the upload simply read: “27.02.25 Loading… itsfiveofficial.com”.

The group formed in 1997, consisting of members Ritchie Neville, Abz Love, Jason ‘ J ‘ Brown, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon. Before they first parted ways in September 2001, the band rose to fame in the 1990s and sold more than 20 million records. Over time, they have since rekindled their relationship in various ways. In 2006, the reunited without Sean. Then in 2012, Sean returned to the fold, but J took a step back.

Following Sean, Ritchie, and Scott’s 2013 trio performance, Sean, Ritchie, and Scott claimed J was a bully on The Big Reunion, there was a rift a year later. At the time, J hit back at the comments, denying the accusations. He said, “I was loud and a little aggressive at times, and I was physically bigger than them to see how that could have been handled.” “But never in my mind was I so-called bullying people”.
