Kieron Bowie, a striker for Hibernian and a member of the Scotland squad for friendly games against Iceland and Liechtenstein in June, is one of the seven uncapped players.

Josh Doig, left-back for Sassuolo, and Rangers midfielder Connor Barron, Andy Irving of West Ham United, and Lennon Miller of Motherwell are also under the management of Steve Clarke.

The uncapped group includes goalkeepers Angus Gunn and Robby McCrorie, as well as Cieran Slicker.

Bowie, 22, is the only player who has since played ten times at the Under-21 level and has not received a call up to the senior squad.

Nathan Patterson, a regular on the Everton team, returns, while Greg Taylor, Ryan Porteous, and Kenny McLean are not.

Ryan Christie, Ryan Christie, and Lyndon Dykes are all recovering from injuries.

On Friday, June 6 (19:45 BST), Iceland will visit Hampden Park, and Clarke’s side will travel to Vaduz to face Liechtenstein on Monday, June 9 (18:00).

Iceland have lost to Scotland in all six of their previous encounters, with the Scots winning with a score of 2-1.
