Despite knowing that authorities were about to arrest him, Sean “P Diddy” Combs reportedly looked likely to be setting up a “freak off” party in his hotel room.
Shocking new images have shown how Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had been preparing for a hotel ‘freak off’ despite being aware he was about to be arrested, according to prosecutors. As the case against the disgraced musician continues, new images have been show to jurors in the lower Manhattan court.
The trial against the 55-year-old entered its sixth day on Monday as Combs faces a number of charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He continues to strenuously deny any wrong doing.
A set of photographs that law enforcement had taken when the star was detained at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan in September of last year were brought up by the prosecution on day six.
Combs and his attorneys had agreed to give their documents to the authorities prior to his arrest, but his hotel room displayed what appeared to be a “freak off.” When authorities arrived, there were several bottles of baby oil and mood lighting.
Other items discovered on location included a enigmatic pink powder bag, pills, and money. ketamine and MDMA were two of the drugs discovered in the room, according to the prosecution.
Cassie Ventura, Combs’ ex, claimed the actor was meticulous about how to plan his “freak offs.” She claimed that the parents had instructed her to consume the baby oil before putting it in the “freak offs.”
David James, who was Combs’ personal assistant when he was dating Cassie Ventura, was one of the people who took to the stage on Monday. He claimed to have a dream job at Combs and that he wanted to work there after reading a New York Times article.
James claimed that during the interview process, he had a meeting with Combs’ Bad Boy label’s head of human resources. The woman then claimed that Combs had pointed to her picture and that his kingdom was Mr. Combs’. We’re all here to support it.
He also testified before the court that he had suggested Ventura try to get her to bail on Diddy’s “crazy” party lift in their early relationship. He claimed that he and Ventura were smoking outside while the rapper was visiting Miami. Ventura told James, “Man, this way of life is crazy,” and James agreed.
Why don’t you just leave, Cassie? If it’s so crazy. He emailed her. According to the witness, she said, “I can’t get out.” Mr. Combs is in charge of my life.
James continued, claiming Ventura had informed him that Combs was a source of income for her career, her home, and her salary. He claimed that “I simply didn’t believe she could leave quickly.”
The trial is advancing.
