Bear Grylls, a proud father, yelled off his teenage son, who had funded his own four-month mega vacation, and got all emotional.

Marmaduke, 18, is off to Asia after putting in some overtime at work. Bear has been married to his wife Shara Cannings Knight since 2000 and together they have three sons, with Jesse, 22, and 15-year-old Huckleberry making up their family. His young men clearly enjoy adventure as well.

Bear explained exactly how much money he spent on the trip, and it didn’t involve a trip to the parents’ bank. The TV star is in Australia getting ready for the Netflix series Celebrity Bear Hunt, which has become a mess after a famous face had to quit after the first episode.

He put the drama to rest and said, “We’re saying goodbye to Marmaduke as he travels to Asia for four months,” “so sad but also happy for him.” He’s worked hard in a butchers in London, earned his way and is now going off for his own adventure. Have fun, stay safe, come home soon. We miss you, and we leave for our BG Live tour to begin the Celebrity Bear Hunt.

The Instagram-worthy teen (Instagram) will undoubtedly be missed by Shara and Bear.

A number of well-known faces will be put through a variety of difficulties as they practice their survival in Costa Rica in the show, which is led by Bear and Holly Willoughby. The reality star will face various obstacles in the jungle on Wednesday to avoid being caught by host Bear.

However, it seems that not everyone had a good time, with reports claiming that one celebrity was forced to leave because of an injury, and another allegedly experienced a major disaster while performing a stunt. It’s claimed that while filming, interior designer Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen endured an alarming incident involving a bungee cord.

Laurence, 59, was allegedly leaping from a boat and into a river when the cord became stuck underneath the vessel, causing him to become entangled. According to reports, Laurence was pulled underwater for a number of minutes before members of the production team leapt in response after he reportedly lost consciousness.

Speaking to the MailOnline, a source said: “Laurence was very shaken as was everyone. He claimed that he believed he was a goner. It was a very serious incident, and at the time, we believed that Netflix wouldn’t show it because it was so awful, but it now appears to be in the program.

After the incident, Netflix was reportedly very apologetic, according to the source. Meanwhile, executive producer of the show, Ben Mitchell said: “There was a very scary moment with Laurence”. Ben went on to add: “The celebs had to jump off a moving speedboat SAS-style. He landed fairly forcefully and was a little shocked in the water, in my opinion. He believed he was suffering from a heart attack.
