The 2025 Ballon d’Or has been nominated for the teams’ goalie Chiamaka Nnadozie and coach Justine Madugu.
Both Madugu and Nnadozie were nominated for the Women’s Team Coach of the Year awards, respectively.
Ann-Katrin Berger of Germany and Gotham FC, Cata Coll of FC Barcelona, Hannah Hampton of England and Chelsea, and Daphne Van Domselaar of Arsenal were also included in the five-woman shortlist.

After winning the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations by beating Morocco 3-2 in the final in Rabat on July 26, 2025, the former Paris FC shot stopper was a member of the Super Falcons team.

The Super Falcons won their tenth title with the help of Nnadozie as the tournament’s top goalkeeper.
Madugu, who led the team to a winning campaign, was also nominated for the Women’s Team Coach of the Year Award, along with other nominees.
