In an effort to improve atmosphere and attendance, Premiership Rugby will trial away ends at two matches starting next month.

There will be seating arrangements for both Saracens and Gloucester at the Stone X stadium in April, and Leicester and Harlequins will have seating arrangements.

Saracens and Leicester will allow fans who want to group in one block without the segregation that occurs during football games to choose from.

This is just giving people a choice, according to a Premiership Rugby source, “Away fans can and will sit among the main crowd.”

This is not intended to conflict with one another. It will be done in accordance with the law.

The league’s executive board claims to have consulted players who enjoy playing in front of a lively away crowd. Initial participation in the trial is anticipated to be limited to a few hundred supporters.

The source added, “There will be enough fans to make a lot of noise.”

The players claim that because of the back-and-forth, it makes more money off of the home fans.
