After the pair were caught having a double date with her Towie co-stars Junaid Ahmed and Joe Blackman, reality TV star Lauren Goodger has all but confirmed their relationship.
Lauren Goodger appears to have confirmed a reunion with Charles Drury after months of speculation, as the pair enjoyed a double date with her Towie co-stars. The 38-year-old reality star and Charles, 26, share their three-year-old daughter Larose and separated in 2022 following the heartbreaking loss of their baby daughter, Lorena.
Rumours about their reconciliation have been swirling for a while, but Lauren’s recent repost of Junaid Ahmed’s Instagram story -captioned “Double dating @joeblackman_98 @laurengoodger @c.drury1” – strongly suggests they’re back together.
The evening was spent at the Indian restaurant Cinnamon in Epping, where Lauren and Charles haven’t been in public in a while. After Lauren’s first live video on the platform for more than a year, a joint TikTok live session with Junaid and Joe caused a stir when they reconnected.
Lauren told MailOnline about their co-parenting experience last year, “We’re at a point where it’s going smoothly.” Charles frequently visits Larose. Because he lives three and a half hours away and I meet him there, it is a lot of traveling. Although it’s not ideal, it’s still what it is.
When their daughter Lorena passed away while she was still a baby in 2022, the couple had a devastating tragedy. Before complications cut Lorena’s life apart, Lauren had been thrilled to welcome their second child just months after Larose, describing her as the “most beautiful healthy baby she’d ever seen.”
Lauren told the Mirror that, regrettably, it is a pain that never leaves, but that you gradually come to accept as you go through it as you go along.
The pain never leaves you, according to Lauren, whose daughter Lorena was born with the umbilical cord knotted around her neck and passed shortly after labor despite a ‘traditional’ pregnancy. “Nothing can make it better, and I don’t think anything can change the loss,” she says.
“Lorena was a beautiful baby, and it never should have happened,” said one parent. She ought to be right away, Lauren claims. The TOWIE star says it’s important to remember not to blame yourself, something she found herself doing after losing Lorena, even though she acknowledges that you never stop grieving.

One piece of advice I would give to anyone is, “Stay together and you’ll get through it together,” said Lauren.
The star already shares Larose, who turns four next month, with Charles, but Lorena wasn’t Lauren’s first child. Being a mother helped her through the grief of losing a child, Lauren said, and she acknowledged that she put all of her energy into Larose.
