Chart-topping singer Sabrina Carpenter first found her footing in the acting world, with roles in popular Disney Channel shows.

Now 25, the young artist had branched out early, making a little-known cameo in the Emmy-winning series Orange is the New Black when she was only 12.

In a recent revelation on TikTok, a fan uncovered a scene from season one of the show, showcasing young Carpenter as a bully to main character Alex Vause.

Shook by this finding, they shared a snippet with the world, captioning it: “Doing my annual Orange is the New Black rewatch and I come across young Sabrina Carpenter bullying young Alex Vause.”

Orange is the New Black followed the life of Piper Chapman (played by Taylor Schilling), who gets imprisoned due to her connection with drug smuggler Alex Vause (Laura Prepon). The series garnered critical acclaim with 21 Emmy nominations and four wins under its belt.

Carpenter briefly appeared as Jessica Wedge in the episode named F***sgiving. In this flashback, we see Carpenter’s character mocking Vause’s appearance, with the biting words: “Those are bobos. Real Adidas have three stripes, not four. Your shoes are bobos.”

When Vause manages a meek, “So?” Jessica Wedge doesn’t hold back, delivering another jab: “So your mum shops at Payless and works at Friendly’s,” reports Surrey Live.

Young Vause stands her ground, justifying that her mum “has like four jobs.”

However, the mean girls escalate their taunts, sneering: “That’s not something to brag about. You dress like a bum.”

Another revealed their surprise: “I’ve only just watched this series and didn’t even clock that’s Sabrina Carpenter.”

Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon clash over ‘negativity’ in therapy session

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have their own BBC reality TV show that is airing at the moment, with a preview for next week’s episode teasing a therapy session for them

There’s set to be tension between Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash on the next episode of their reality TV show. It’s been teased that the couple clash at a therapy session in scenes yet to be broadcast on the BBC’s Stacey & Joe.

The show – which launched earlier this month – continues next Tuesday with its fifth episode. A preview at the end of this week’s episode appeared to show Stacey, 35, and Joe, 43, in a therapy session together. Loose Women star Stacey says: “You fail to recognise anything that I’m saying to you.”

Former EastEnders cast member Joe is then heard suggesting that there’s been negativity, with him saying: “I’ve heard nothing but negative stuff.” The scene in the upcoming episode comes after Joe revealed that he planned to attend therapy sessions on the latest episode, which was released yesterday. He shared that he wasn’t particularly keen on the thought of attending them.

Joe spoke about his plans after revealing that he had “lost” his ADHD medication. Speaking to his sister Shana Swash, 34, about getting new medication, he said: “Stacey wants me to do it alongside some therapy, which I’m not against but …”

Shana – who starred alongside her brother on EastEnders – suggested that some of his therapy could include talking about their late father Ricky Swash. The siblings’ dad passed away when Joe was 12, as Ricky reportedly lived with an undiagnosed heart condition prior to his death.

Addressing his sister’s prediction, Joe said: “I don’t really fancy all that to be fair.” He added: “Just give me the medication and just let me get on with it.”

Shana told him: “You have to explore different routes and different reasons and different things that have happened in your life. You can’t just go ‘give me the medication’ and it’ll all be okay.”

Joe shared: “Well, I’ll do a couple of sessions. Stacey wants me to go and then see what happens then, yeah?” He later said: “I’m not too overly keen on the whole therapy bits.”

His other sister, Casie Swash, said: “I know, but it is helpful for a lot of people.” Shana added: “I know, I think it would be. Don’t roll your eyes.” Joe replied: “I’m gonna do it. I told you I was gonna do it. Just not looking forward to that bit, you know what I mean?”

Shana said in the episode: “I think you’ll get a lot out of it.” Joe commented: “I’m on the journey now so I just need to stick to it and hopefully see some changes.”

Joe’s sister told him to “take it seriously,” with him responding: “I am taking it seriously.” Shana said: “You have to take it seriously and you can’t just go and just be told all this really good advice and have really great medication and then lose your medication, not follow through with any of the exercises.”

Casie said: “I think you’ve just got to be consistent with it for it to be able to get the most benefit out of it.” Joe said that he agreed, before Casie added: “And then, that’s the only way you’re gonna get and feel if it makes a massive difference to your life.”

Stacey & Joe continues on Tuesday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 8pm.

Wilson nominated as FIA deputy president for sport

Malcolm Wilson, the head of the world’s top rally teams, has been chosen as the FIA’s new deputy president for sport.

Mohammed Ben Sulayem, president of the FIA, has chosen the 69-year-old to replace Robert Reid, who left last week.

Wilson’s nomination will be decided at the organization’s General Assembly in Macau in June.

Wilson, a former British rally champion, is currently managing director of M-Sport, which oversees Ford’s world rally championship program since 1997.

Reid left after witnessing what he termed “a fundamental breakdown in governance within motorsport’s global governing body.”

His decision came after a number of controversy-plagued incidents involving Ben Sulayem, particularly those that critics of him refer to as the FIA’s alleged rift and the president’s concentrated power.

Former FIA CEO Natalie Robyn resigned following Reid’s resignation, breaking her silence about leaving the organization last summer after only 18 months in the position.

Robyn “worked under challenging circumstances to strengthen the federation’s governance framework and improve its operational transparency,” Robyn claimed to BBC Sport.

She added that Reid’s departure “clearly indicates there are serious ongoing structural challenges,” adding that “when stakeholders are excluded from decision-making, it undermines the foundation of a strong organization.”

In a statement from the FIA, Wilson said: “Malcolm has had a distinguished career in global motorsport.

He has driven teams and served as a technical partner for over 40 years.

As we continue to develop grassroots and professional motorsport, inciting innovation in the sport to benefit fans, drivers, and teams, the FIA and our member clubs will benefit greatly from this knowledge.

Wilson claimed in a statement that being nominated for the role was a “great honor.”

Wilson continued, “I look forward to supporting the president and the entire FIA family in its, its, important, and mission.

There has never been a more exciting time for motorsport, and I am aware of the benefits the sport brings to both domestic and international communities.

“I  look forward to working with the president to bring our sport to new audiences and ensure we deliver the very best championships for all our competitors,” said the president.
