‘Don’t Be Unstable, Tell Tinubu What You Want’, Wike Advises Fubara

Siminalayi Fubara, governor of Rivers State, has been advised by the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, to show sincerity by being bold enough to ask President Bola Tinubu to say what exactly he wanted rather than “saying something today and doing another thing tomorrow.”

Lere Olayinka, Wike’s Senior Special Assistant for Public Communications and Social Media, advised him on Saturday in a statement.

He continued, “Visiting people does not suffis to work for peace, those who genuinely want peace must work and act for it.”

These are the same people who are pleading for peace but also engage in activities that go against what they are asking for.

How can you claim to want peace while also supporting people who insult everyone, including the President and his wife?

Because they are not sincere in their up and down pleas for peace, all those shenanigans won’t bring peace, and I am certain they know that.

We express our condolences to our First Lady for the embarrassing behavior of those few women who do not represent the people of Rivers State and the people who follow my leadership in full and condemn that display of shame yesterday.

Despite the ongoing political conflict between Wike and Fubara, Wike’s advice is timely.

The minister also criticized the women’s protest against Senator Oluremi Tinubu, which he claimed are loyal to Fubara, and called it an insult to the people of Rivers State.

The minister, who expressed regret to the first lady and president of Rivers State, said: “It insults the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and as a leader in Rivers State, I apologise.

FA Cup final kick-off time confirmed

On Saturday, May 17 at Wembley, Manchester City and Crystal Palace will play in the FA Cup final at 16:30 BST.

The Football Association stated that the time was determined in consultation with the two clubs, broadcasters, local authorities, police, and the Safety Advisory Group.

Due to the fact that the 2022 final between Chelsea and Liverpool was at 16:45, both of the previous two finals, featuring City and Manchester United, started at 15:00.

The day hasn’t been scheduled for any Premier League games.

Fans blame the cost of tickets, travel, and the match’s 16:30 on a Sunday for the crowd at City’s semi-final against Nottingham Forest last weekend, with thousands of empty seats in the blue half of Wembley.

The last direct train back to Manchester from Euston this year leaves at 21:09, which should give fans enough time even if the game was delayed or ended in penalties.

With a 2-0 victory over Forest, Pep Guardiola’s men won the final for the third time in a row, while Palace, who have never won the FA Cup, made it to the final for only the third time with a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa.

Judd Trump will defeat Mark Williams 13-11 to advance to Saturday night’s final match of the World Championship semifinals.

After Williams recovered from 7-3 down to retake the top spot on Friday in Sheffield, the players had an engaging morning of play that started with 8-8.

Williams, 50, who is competing to become the oldest Crucible finalist, continued his quest by creating four half-centuries out of the eight frames available.

The Welshman reeled off the next three frames before opening up with a break of 57 and then reeled off the next three with a 71 run in response to Trump’s 57.

Englishman Trump, who has won 30 ranking contests in his career and made six of his finals this year, compiled a timely 64 to lower his arrears to 12-11.

No refunds are given for the afternoon session.

For what was supposed to be the fourth session of the Ronnie O’Sullivan vs. Zhao Xintong semi-final, fans were denied refunds.

There will be no competitive action at the Crucible on Saturday afternoon due to Zhao’s 17-7 victory over the ” Rocket,” which was delivered with a session to spare.

A question-and-answer session with seven-time champion Stephen Hendry and 1997 champion Ken Doherty have been scheduled in addition to Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor’s famous black-ball final victory.

According to the World Snooker Tour’s (WST) box office policies, it is “unable to provide ticket refunds or exchanges.”

Ronnie O’Sullivan, a seven-time world champion, says he wants to move to the Middle East.

In his first tournament since reversing his grip on the Championship League in January, the Englishman, 49, was defeated by Zhao Xintong 17-7 in the semi-finals of the World Championship in Sheffield on Friday.

With a session to spare, former UK champion Zhao was able to defeat “the Rocket” with a session win over Ali Carter, Pang Junxu, and Si Jiahui, who had earlier hoped he could win a record eighth Crucible title in the modern era.

I’ll be relocating to the Middle East. We’ll see how things turn out; I might return in six months.

“A brand-new life somewhere else.” I’m not sure how that will turn out.

“I’ll still try to play snooker, but I’m not sure what the future holds in reality.”

Whether it’s playing or not, I have to try to figure out what my future will look like.

O’Sullivan has stated on numerous occasions that he has struggled with his anxiety and has taken medication to deal with it.

Given that he turns 50 in December, speculation about his future led to his three-month suspension from the sport earlier this season.

He is engaged in a personal battle at the Crucible to regain his fitness and find a new source of satisfaction.

“I’m not even sure if it was me, the ferrule, or the cue.” He said there were three things.

“I didn’t know where the white ball was going,” I said. I had no idea.

“I won’t throw the cue,” I said. People want the item, so it will be on sale.

It’s just difficult for me to concentrate because I’ve been practicing that a lot. That’s the issue, I can’t even fix it.
