Darrell Clarke has been re-appointed as Rovers of Bristol’ manager following their relegation to League Two.

Less than 24 hours after the conclusion of a disappointing season that ended with a 4-1 defeat at Blackpool, Rovers fired head coach Inigo Calderon on Sunday.

Between 2014 and 2018, Clarke, 47, served as manager of Rovers for four years, including the first time he brought them back into the Football League and the promotion to League One.

How special it is to return to Rovers of Bristol is beyond words, Clarke said. “I’m beyond pleased to be back at this exceptional club.”

The potential of this club is still very high, despite the fact that the season that just ended was undoubtedly difficult, and I had no hesitation when I had the chance to return.

“I’m looking forward to getting to work in the off-season, getting ready for the new campaign, and leaving The Mem in front of the brilliant, passionate Gasheads once more.”

We will need each and every one of them in the upcoming season, and I want to give them a team they can support and perform with pride.

Clarke eventually held positions at Walsall, Port Vale, Cheltenham, and most recently Barnsley, which he left in March.

In addition, he won promotion from League Two while he was at Vale through his 2022 play-off victory over Mansfield.

Ricky Martin, the director of football, expressed his delight at welcoming Darrell back to Rovers of Bristol.

Captain Martinez Starts For Inter In Champions League Showdown With Barca

After recovering from a hamstring injury in time for Tuesday’s semi-final second leg at the San Siro, Lutaro Martinez will start for Inter Milan’s Champions League winner against Barcelona.

Since suffering the injury in last week’s thrilling first leg, which gave the tie a perfect 3-3 lead, Inter captain Martinez has not played since.

The 27-year-old begins alongside Marcus Thuram, his preferred strike partner, in Catalonia, who scored a stunning backheeled goal.

Since the start of the year, Martinez has scored seven times in the Champions League, including in both quarter-finals against Bayern Munich, for coach Simone Inzaghi.

Kylie Jenner was left screaming in pain as she was forced to tape her feet into her heels at the Met Gala, with the make-up mogul forced to have her shoes cut off

Kylie was in agony as she took to her Instagram stories to show off her fashion mishap

Kylie Jenner is determined to conquer the Met Gala steps no matter what it takes. At the Met Gala 2025 on Monday, the reality superstar graced the red carpet in a Ferragamo creation that showcased her figure and midriff; however, it was her heels that presented an unexpected challenge.

Navigating those stilettos is never simple, but Jenner found it particularly difficult when it came to taking them off. The 27 year old Kylie Cosmetics mogul uploaded a video to her Instagram Story post-gala, where she’s seen sitting on the floor while her entourage struggles to free her from her black pointed-toe pumps..

“Max told me to tape my feet into the shoe,” Jenner remarked, crediting the tip to Ferragamo’s creative director, Maximilian Davis. “And now my feet are stuck in the shoes!”

A short while later, Jenner shared an update with her followers featuring a triumphant snapshot of her liberated feet, declaring over the photo: “They’re okay! ! ! !”.

For the upper half of her ensemble, Jenner paraded down the carpet in a Ferragamo gown with wool herringbone cups and a lengthy skirt featuring a tall slit, segmented by a transparent corseted bodice.

The founder of Khy accessorised the look with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, sheer elongated gloves to match, and sported a bombshell makeup aesthetic along with a sleek bun. She completed the outfit with a glossy black sash and a glittery floral brooch adorned with diamonds, though the text cuts off before revealing further details.

She also added a shiny black sash with a diamond-adorned flower brooch, with the fabric stretching feet behind her.

The mum of two was pictured arriving at the 2025 Met Gala – without Timothée Chalamet.

The socialite’s sheer Ferragamo corset dress had a thigh-high leg slit, which honoured the night’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme. She completed the look with matching opera gloves and a wrap. However, Timothée was not pictured on the red carpet in New York City.

Celebrity Big Brother’s JoJo Siwa ‘missing Chris Hughes’ as she reveals reunion plans

JoJo Siwa fans are convinced the Dance Moms star is missing her Celebrity Big Brother pal Chris Hughes after she made a telling comment on her social media page

Fans of JoJo Siwa are convinced the reality TV star is missing her Celebrity Big Brother pal Chris Hughes. The belief comes after JoJo, 21, confirmed she is set to reunite with the ex Love Island contestant, 32.

The duo became close friends during their time on the ITV series, with some speculating if their friendship could lead to more. The queries intensified after Chris cancelled his upcoming appearance on Celebs Go Dating.

Now, former Dance Moms star JoJo has revealed on TikTok how Chris helped her in the Big Brother house when she had a stye in her eye. She told her fans Chris made her put a teabag on her eye to soothe the issue.

As fans showed the appreciation to the duo in the comments section, one user asked her: “Please come back to the UK, we need updates on you and Chris.” It was met by JoJo confessing: “Soon,” as she added a love heart emoji.

Her response left others adamant it was a sign she is missing the horse racing pundit.

The duo’s friendship came in for some scrutiny after some questioned if they were being too close. JoJo, who was engaged when she entered the Big Brother house, called off her engagement to Kath Ebbs at the show’s after party.

A joint statement from Chris’ rep and a spokesperson for Celebs Go Dating said: “Before entering Big Brother, Chris agreed to join the Celeb’s Go Dating agency and having his love life place into the hands of the agents.

“However, after an incredible but very intense experience in Big Brother, he is taking some time to decompress.”

The statement continued: “After some joint discussions on both sides, he decided he won’t be joining the show this year, but the door is open for the future.”

An insider later told the Sun: “Rumours behind the scenes are that his fledgling relationship with JoJo [Siwa] has made him feel going on a dating show would be a bad move.”

Chris and JoJo spoke on This Morning last week and claimed the relationship is “platonic” between them. In the same interview Chris suggested that they have a “soulmate friendship”.

While at A Night with Jojo Siwa over the weekend, the singer also teased that Chris has become a “vital part” of her life.

Following the event at Stanford University in the US, JoJo posted about the experience on TikTok. She then responded to several reactions from fans who mentioned Chris in the comments section of her post on the platform. Teasing over the future, JoJo appeared to express hope that they get to work together on a spin-off TV show moving forward.

One fan reacted to the post in the comments, saying: “You’re glowing Joelle, so happy!!! Loved the speech you gave about Chris. We’re all rooting for you both.”

It prompted a response from JoJo, who wrote beside an emoji depicting hearts: “Thank you.” Someone else said: “The UK is rooting for you and Mr Hughes JoJo.” JoJo responded to them with three heart emojis.
