After surpassing her mother’s best time at the London Marathon, Eilish McColgan set a new Scottish marathon record.

McColgan, 34, finished eighth, crossing the line in 02: 24: 25, which beat Steph Twell’s mark of 2: 26: 40 set in Frankfurt in 2019.

Liz McColgan ran London in 2: 26: 52 in 1997.

The younger McColgan admitted to having a few “loose goals,” but stated last week that her main goal was to finish her marathon debut with “no mishaps.”

At the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, she won 10, 000m gold and 5, 000m silver medals, as well as silver and bronze medals at the European level over 3, 000m, 5, 000m, and 10, 000m.

Signs JoJo Siwa was ‘falling’ for Chris Hughes – from 48-hour promise to mum’s blessing

As the pair exchanged cuddles, flirtatious moments, and emotional confessions in the Big Brother house, with Kath Ebbs revealing their relationship with the Dance Moms star, JoJo Siwa’s bond with Chris Hughes ended indiscutable.

One of Celebrity Big Brother’s most scandalous stories this year featured JoJo and Chris Hughes.

JoJo Siwa has always lived her life in the public eye, but even fans weren’t fully prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that unfolded during her time with Chris Hughes on Celebrity Big Brother.

Despite JoJo’s relationship with her partner Kath Ebbs, who revealed the Dance Moms star had dumped her at the CBB afterparty less than 24 hours later, the unlikely pairing quickly became a hit on the show.

As whispers grow louder that JoJo, 21, ended her relationship to focus on her deepening bond with Chris, 32, we take a look back at all the signs that she was “falling” for the former Love Islander.

physical symptoms

Fans of CBB knew JoJo and Chris had strong chemistry, from hand-holding to playful teasing. They kept their distance when it came to touching hands, cuddling, and even having an eyebrow-raising moment when JoJo licked chocolate off Chris’ shorts.

Ella Rae Wise, a fellow housemate, claimed the former Love Islander was isolating himself and “not getting to know” anyone else in the house because it was so obvious.

The more intimate glimpses into their bond, such as being captured on camera laughing and holding hands together in bed, were perhaps the most telling moments. The pair frequently kept their roommates awake during long-range nighttime conversations.

At one point, JoJo was called out by Big Brother for “drawing” something on Chris’s hand – with fans speculating it was a love heart.

Gratitude remarks

JoJo repeatedly said it, not just once, but repeatedly did. JoJo said at the dinner table at the dinner table that Chris “feels like family” and that he is “the best thing” that could have happened from the entire experience in front of her housemates during the final.

The US actress then claimed that Chris and she had fallen in love because she claimed that Chris’ love was unreal.

“48 hours”

JoJo cryptically told Chris, Give me 48 hours, hinting that she needed to process her feelings and possibly make a difficult choice about where her heart truly lay. Later, she said, I’ll tell you something in 48 hours, only reaffirming her decision, which only led to rumors that she had to choose between her current relationship and a future with Chris.

And sure enough, JoJo’s ex-partner Kath claimed to have dumped them “at the after party with Chris in the room next door” within 24 hours of leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house.

JoJo’s mother granted her blessing.

JoJo’s mother, Jessalynn Siwa, didn’t maintain silence. She recently shared a fan-made video that compared JoJo and Chris’ chemistry to the renowned Jack and Rose romance from Titanic. The “Titanic vibes” comment sparked a frenzy in the fandom, especially since Jessalynn’s repost was seen as a subtle sign of approval.

JoJo and Chris danced live from the Celebrity Big Brother streamer, with the line “JoJo and Chris are so Jack and Rose vibes.” She is the wealthy person who has probably never had this much fun in her life and has fallen in love with a person of lower class than her.

The most romantic love story to date is unquestionably “the closest.”

Chris’ emotional response

JoJo wasn’t just expressing her emotions. Chris Hughes’ comments about JoJo made him seem particularly sensitive, even torn up once. He made a comparison between JoJo and his ex-girlfriend, highlighting how similar they both had similar personality traits and how close he felt, which suggested that his emotions were profound and real.

The Love Island star admitted his “love” for the US star during his exit interview on Friday. “JoJo was a pure rock to me, she was someone I can have fun with and I had fun with her every day,” he said.

That is a lovely friendship to me.

Just two months after returning from a betting ban, England’s Marco Penge won his first DP World Tour title.

The 26-year-old placed bets on multiple events throughout December, and one month was suspended for the rest of the year.

Since returning to the field on March 23, Penge had finished third overall at the South African Open and shot a three-shot victory on Sunday at the Hainan Classic in China.

Penge, who joined the European tour last year, led the way with Xiao Bowen from China and was one shot ahead of Sean Crocker as he led the back nine.

But he made three birdies from the 12th to finish the round on 17 under par before posting a five-under 67.

With Denmark’s Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen a shot further back, American Crocker and Norway’s Kristoffer Reitan tied for second place overall.

To me, “This means the world,” Penge remarked. “I’ve always wanted to succeed in winning on the biggest stage,” I said.

After taking a vacation, I wanted to really prove to myself and to everyone else that I am a player.

“My caddie has been my rock since that time.” And my entire team, including my wife, would not have helped me get where I am.

With his victory, Penge moved up to third place in the Asian Swing standings after winning the DP World Tour and advancing to the US PGA Championship in Quail Hollow.

Louis Tomlinson’s twin sisters’ ‘arguments’ after signing for reality show

Following rumors that they are filming their own reality show, Phoebe and Daisy Tomlinson have opened up about living in the shadow of their One Direction star brother.

Although Daisy and Phoebe’s brother is one of the most well-known musicians in the world, they are also establishing a name for themselves.

Their brother might be Louis Tomlinson, but twins Daisy and Phoebe are venturing out independently. The Doncaster-born stars, who boast an impressive 2.4 million Instagram followers between them, admit they “went with the times” as they grew up under the gaze of billions of One Direction fans.

Did the pair ever anticipate having such a powerful following and being well-known abroad? Phoebe remarked, “I think we went with the times.” She continued, “We probably didn’t realize it could grow as large as it did.” We’re undoubtedly very appreciative of the position we’re currently in.

However, Phoebe acknowledges that the pair have never truly had time to process their astronomical rise, saying: “When you put it in perspective, it’s crazy. Daisy acknowledges that being a famous supporter of UNICEF because of their strong following and support for UNICEF. Because we have such a large audience, many people can be reached.

But how do they feel about “Soccer Aid”? We’re so excited about Soccer Aid, joked Phoebe, adding, “Obviously, Louis only played once, but it was really fun.” “Super excited,” Louis playing only makes it more intriguing and funny in the process.

Daisy said, “I probably shouldn’t be as nervous as I would when I watch him play football than I do when I sing.” He sings more than he plays football, but I’ve heard he’s been working hard in training, so I shouldn’t be too anxious the day afterward.

Louis, 33, has always had a burning desire for football and has once stepped up for his beloved Doncaster Rovers in honor of Bluebell Wood Charity. He was given the opportunity to work professionally on a non-contractual basis to fit in with his musical obligations following his successful charity appearance. He currently owns his team as well.
