Justin Bieber has raised eyebrows with a cryptic post on Instagram, leaving fans worried after he told them, “we don’t owe anyone anything”.
The pop sensation, 31, shared the message with his 294 million followers just days after a video surfaced showing him smoking a bong. In recent weeks, Justin has been drawing concern for his disheveled appearance, with some even accusing him of “acting like a teenager” and “losing touch with reality”.
His latest post read: “We have nothing to prove today. Just the gift of life today to accept and receive. Nothing is owed to us. And we don’t owe anyone anything”.
In recent weeks, Justin has left his fans increasingly worried for his health and wellbeing – and they are only growing more worried for the star given his glum appearances of late. Earlier this week, the Sorry hitmaker left fans more worried than ever after seeming to take drugs in a new Instagram post – with the star also appearing to have ditched his wedding ring in the snaps amid concerns about his marriage to Hailey Bieber.
The post in question saw Justin share six very similar photos of himself appearing to use a bong to smoke marijuana. The shots showed the Canadian singer sitting on a bike, with several quad bikes parked behind him. Justin kept his head down and covered with a hood, layering his hoodie with a navy and purple jacket, paired with loose black trousers and light brown boots.
The singer made a clear glass bong the star of the photos, alternating between lighting it and blowing out huge streams of smoke. If the photos weren’t clear enough, he chose the song Hits from the Bong by Cypress Hill to play in the background. While Justin, however, seemed pleased with his bong-oriented post, fans weren’t too impressed.
“Jesus freed you from that, bro, why are you going back to that”? one fan asked, with another slamming: “Aren’t you in your 30s? This is a post a 14 year old would make. Man up and be a DAD”. A third agreed: “At least do it discreetly, such a bad role model for your son and fans”. Justin and Hailey welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues, last August, and the young boy was the topic of many people’s concern. “I hope Jack doesn’t have to be around all this smoke. A kid doesn’t deserve it”, one person wrote, with a second blasting: “Get off the drugs and raise your son”.
Fans were particularly concerned seeing as Justin has been frank about his addiction issues in the past. During an episode of the docuseries Justin Bieber: Seasons, Justin confessed that he started using marijuana when he was only “12 or 13”. After struggling to grow up in the public eye Justin’s substance misuse escalated to “pretty heavy drugs”, with the star also abusing alcohol as a coping mechanism. By 2021 he started working on sobriety, worrying he “was dying” due to his years of issues.
Justin has shared more drug content in recent days, rapping about being high and filming himself smoking. Despite the worrying content, however, Justin’s reps said rumours of him using hard drugs were “absolutely not true”, and that he was “simply in one of the best places in his life ‘ as they shut down the rumour he was using hard drugs as” absolutely not true. “
Speaking to TMZ, Justin’s rep said the past year has been” very transformative for him as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him. “They added that fans ‘ concerns about his physical and mental health are” exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive. “
In relation to his worrying appearance of late, fans have said:” This young man looks decidedly unwell. I hope he gets the help he appears to desperately need. “While another echoed:” He looks 40 years old. This young man needs help. Serious help. Something is eating at him. It’s not a sign of weakness to ask for help. He has a son to raise. “
It comes amid speculation on his marriage to Hailey – who he married in 2018. Fans have been claiming” it doesn’t look like things are going well “in the couple’s romance. The singer added more fuel to the fire when he unfollowed his wife on Instagram in January. Before unfollowing his wife, he unfollowed his father-in-law Stephen Baldwin and shared another controversial photo of a bong.
Naturally, his huge fanbase were concerned by his decision to share the photo of the bong on his Instagram, and questioned the state of his mental health amid his seemingly declining appearance. However, after headlines hit about Justin and Hailey’s apparent ‘ troubled ‘ marriage, Justin put the rumours to bed as he took to Instagram to insist that he and his wife are still very much happily married. Justin hit back by posting a number of photos of Hailey.
He claimed he wasn’t the person to unfollow his wife on social media, writing to fans on his Stories:” Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. S**t is getting suss out here. “Justin then quickly followed his wife again on Instagram as fans breathed a sigh of relief.

France moved two points clear at the top of the table before next week’s final round of fixtures with a ruthless 42-27 victory over the holders.
The second France try – scored by Paul Boudehent – put the visitors 15-13 ahead after Dan Sheehan’s score early in the second half briefly gave Ireland the lead.
Ireland were angered that Boudehent’s try was allowed to stand by referee Angus Gardner after Thibaud Flament cleared Peter O’Mahony out of a ruck in the build-up.
“We didn’t defend well enough in our 22 but there are certain things that happen in a game, in instances like that, which are going to prevent someone]O’Mahony in this case] making a tackle, or be in a position to try and stop that”, said Easterby.
“All teams try and create a bit of space through the ruck and that allows the next player to pick, but it’s the judgement over whether that contact on Pete]was] close enough to the ruck to know if it was legal.
With a mix of power and counter-attacking speed, France blew Ireland away in the second half, scoring 34 unanswered points to avenge last year’s 38-17 loss in Marseille.
And while Easterby conceded the French are a” hard team to stop when they have momentum”, he bemoaned Ireland’s inability to turn pressure into points when they had possession inside France’s 22.

Ousmane Dembele scored twice as Paris Saint-Germain warmed up for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Liverpool by winning 4-1 away to Rennes in Ligue 1 with a much-changed team on Saturday.
Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos had PSG 2-0 up in Brittany before Lilian Brassier pulled one back for Rennes, but Dembele netted twice in stoppage time to seal the victory for the visitors.
The result allowed the Ligue 1 leaders to maintain their unbeaten record in domestic competition this season.
The Parisians are now a huge 16 points clear at the top before closest challengers Marseille play at home to Lens later.

Luis Enrique’s side were ultimately comfortable winners despite the coach making eight changes to his starting line-up in between the two legs of the Liverpool tie, with the return at Anfield coming up on Tuesday.
Barcola, Joao Neves and Willian Pacho were the only players to keep their places following the 1-0 home loss to Liverpool in the first leg last Wednesday.
Dembele was among the regular starters to be rested at kick-off, but he came off the bench just after the hour mark and the France forward’s double strike moves him onto 20 league goals for the campaign.
The player who began his career at Rennes has now scored 28 times in all competitions this season, including 23 goals in 18 appearances since mid-December.
Rennes came into the game on a run of four wins in five outings to climb up into mid-table after Habib Beye replaced Jorge Sampaoli as coach at the end of January.
However, PSG went in front at Roazhon Park on 27 minutes as Desire Doue, another former Rennes player, quickly took a free-kick just inside the home half and released Barcola to run through and score his 18th goal of the season.
Teenage forward Mohamed Kader Meite almost equalised for Rennes before the break, heading off the crossbar from Adrien Truffert’s cross.
Barcola then turned provider as PSG doubled their lead five minutes after half-time, squaring for Ramos — one of those brought into the starting line-up — to net his 13th this season in all competitions.
Centre-back Brassier pulled one back for Rennes shortly after, heading in from close range after a corner had been flicked on.
However, Luis Enrique then sent on the cavalry, with Dembele, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Achraf Hakimi all coming off the bench for the latter stages.
PSG made sure of the points as Hakimi ran through on goal before unselfishly squaring for Dembele to make it 3-1 in the first minute of stoppage time at the end of the game.
Dembele then fired in his second and PSG’s fourth goal from the edge of the area in the 94th minute.
Saturday’s other game sees Lille, in between the two legs of their Champions League last-16 tie against Borussia Dortmund, host bottom side Montpellier.
Lille entertain Dortmund on Wednesday after drawing 1-1 in the first leg in Germany.

Five-try Scotland overcame a hugely spirited Wales in a frenetic Six Nations contest at Murrayfield, condemning the visitors to a 16th defeat in a row.
The Scots looked at ease for large parts of the game, only for Wales to threaten a jaw-dropping comeback late on and ensure they at least left with some reward.
In the last 18 minutes, the visitors scored three unanswered tries – all converted – to turn a cakewalk into a struggle for the Scots, whose edge blunted incredibly in the second half.
The big comeback never materialised, though, and Scotland won a third Six Nations game in a row against Wales for the first time since 1991.
Gareth Anscombe opened the scoring for them with an early penalty, but Gregor Townsend’s Scotland had the bonus point in the bank by the break with tries from Blair Kinghorn, Darcy Graham and a double from Tom Jordan.
The excellent Finn Russell converted all four.
Blair Murray scored in the midst of the Scotland try-fest but the hosts had a 20-point lead at half-time and it became a 27-point lead early in the new half when Kinghorn scored his second.
With Scotland seemingly cruising, Wales hit them with them two tries around the hour, first through Ben Thomas and then Teddy Williams. That made it a 13-point game.
Remarkably, Taulupe Faletau scored soon after but the try was ruled out.

Scotland are built to go wide. Wales would have known that but knowing it and stopping it are two different things.
At their first attempt, the Scots scored, working the visitors left and right through a dozen and more punishing phases before hitting the accelerator.
Graham sped away and found Kinghorn, who went over despite Anscombe’s desperate efforts to halt him.
Russell, who missed three kicks out of three at Twickenham last time out, banged over the conversion from close to the touchline. You got the sense he enjoyed it.
Wales then lost Tom Rogers through injury that sparked a backline reshuffle. Centre Joe Roberts appeared off the bench on the left wing, with Ellis Mee switching to the right.
Within seconds, Scotland scored again. Once more it was on the edge where Scotland made merry, this after Wales made a mess of an exit.
Duhan van der Merwe fended off Mee and played in Huw Jones. Wales, ripped to shreds, could do nothing to stop Jones hitting Jordan running free outside him.
Russell made it 14-3 with the conversion. Only 11 minutes had been played.
Three minutes later, Scotland conjured a third. Jordan won ball in the air to start it and Russell’s brilliance was there at the finish.
Deep in the Welsh 22 and with Anscombe in his road, the fly-half dummied, stepped and then found Graham, who roared in.
Another conversion and Scotland were already in dreamland.
Wales ‘ nightmare only grew darker. WillGriff John got binned for a cynical foul play. Then, they lost a fourth try. A totally self-inflicted nonsense score, too.
Thomas tried a kick-pass to Murray on the right wing, which was a poor decision. Murray acrobatically kept the ball in play, but when Thomas fumbled trying to gather, Jordan was all over him, hacked on and scored.
Wales were all over the place in defence and much better in what little attacking ball they had. A 20-point game in half an hour and they were fortunate it was still only 20 at the break.
It was 27 before too long. Russell put a penalty to touch and Scotland attacked off it, Russell popping Kinghorn in under the posts. So classy, so ruthless.
The fly-half has had a rough few weeks post-Twickenham – unfair in the extreme – but his response was terrific. He bossed it out there, banged over the conversion of Kinghorn’s try with ease, and exited just after the hour with the job done.
Scotland’s issues late on started just before Russell went off.
Wales mustered a second score of their own, getting in behind before Ben Thomas went over. Back to a 20–point game with the extras.
Then, with Russell off the pitch, Williams blasted over, and after that came the Faletau moment, the score disallowed for Murray hurdling a tackle in the preamble.
Wales hadn’t done with the jumpy Scots, though.

There won’t be any bust-ups on the Oasis reunion tour between the Gallagher brothers because Liam is a total professional now, close friend Charlie Lightening has said.
Filmmaker Charlie has worked with Liam since Oasis ended in 2009 making Beady Eye’s videos and then filming every step of Liam’s solo comeback in 2017 for the film As It Was. Charlie is adamant there will be no repeat of the backstage fight between the siblings that ended the group at a French festival in August 2009, because Liam is a reformed rock ‘ n ‘ roll hellraiser and has developed a routine for his solo shows which allows him to be completely focused on putting on the best performance he can for his fans.
Sharing Liam’s pre-gig ritual now, he said: “With Liam, he’ll come and do the sound check. Then he’ll go to his hotel room and just chill all day. And then most of the time he turns up 20 minutes before he goes on stage, straight into his dressing room, finishes off his warm-up, no one talks to him, he comes out five minutes before the show, does the show, then goes straight off into his car”.
Charlie continued: “You don’t really see him. It’s not that it’s calmer, Liam just really cares about it. When he’s walked off stage at gigs, it’s because, in his head, if he’s not giving it the full thing he’s not going to do it. He cares so much about the shows”. But Charlie insists the tension between Liam, 52, and Noel, 57, will never fully go away, and that’s what makes Oasis ‘ shows and music so special. He added: “It will still have that edge, for sure”.
Charlie filmed Liam’s mammoth Knebworth solo concerts, his recent Definitely Maybe anniversary shows and his gigs with Stone Roses guitarist John Squire at the beginning of 2024.
The filmmaker would love to be behind the camera to capture the footage from the Oasis Live ‘ 25 tour, but he has no idea if he will be asked to shoot the stadium shows. Even if he isn’t involved in a professional capacity, Charlie is just thrilled that Liam and Noel are back together.
Charlie – who has a new comedy film out, Standing On The Shoulder of Kitties, which stars Billy Bob Thornton and Trailer Park Boys actor Mike Smith, as well as featuring a cameo from Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood – said: “I’m so excited for it. Even though I’ve worked with Liam and Noel, to me Oasis are my Beatles. Oasis back together is incredible. I can’t wait for it”.
He went on: “I have no idea if I’m working on it, doing it, or what’s going on. I hope I’m involved in it. I’ve worked with Liam from the end of Oasis. I did all of Beady Eye with him, did all the documentaries and videos. For me, I’d love to be involved, but if I’m not, I’m so happy they’re back”.
Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher announced plans to to tour with their band Oasis after a 15-year hiatus last year. The tour will kick off in July in Cardiff and will include stops across the UK, America, Canada and South America.
