Nadia Sawalha issues apology to Loose Women co-star after revelation about her husband

Nadia Sawalha has come clean about her envy towards her Loose Women co-star Christine Lampard’s wedding ring.

On the latest instalment of ‘Loose Women—The Podcast,’ which focused on body confidence, loveless marriages and husband’s crushes, Nadia and her co-star Judi Love shared their honest thoughts.

During the podcast, Judi relayed a question from a listener named Mary, who was curious to know which co-star’s husband they would each marry if they had to choose.

Before revealing her answer, Nadia apologised to Christine in advance, then humorously confessed that it’s Frank Lampard she covets, but rather the stunning ring he gave to Christine.

She confessed: “I’m sorry. Maybe I shouldn’t say this. Okay, Christine Lampard’s ring is really, really nice and my ring is not. That ring. I mean, honestly… sometimes, it distracts me. “

Nadia gave a hilarious response that emphasised an object that Christine owns (Getty Images Europe)

Her co-star weighed in, adding: “Babes, I can’t, like… it does get me and Frankie’s [Bridge], yeah. “

Nadia quipped in response: “So, what is the name of our husbands again? But the ring. “

Judi continued, giving a nod to Frank’s good taste: “The ring; the ring is the one. He is lovely, though. “

Frank tied the knot with Christine in 2015, six years after they crossed paths at the Pride of Britain Awards.

The couple share two children, Patricia and Freddie, and Frank also has two daughters from a previous relationship.

Their romance, however, had a somewhat “awkward” beginning.

Previously speaking on Loose Women, Christine said that Frank initially impressed her by claiming he watched her on The One Show and even remembered the guest from the night before.

“There was an awkward introduction at the party afterwards,” she added. “I just laughed and we both giggled about it. Then that was it. He somehow got my number, and I had a withheld number call my phone on the way home. I picked up and it was him.

“I said ‘Wow, you’re keen! ‘ as a bit of a joke, and we chatted, and he said he enjoyed meeting me and would like to stay in touch. It was very relaxed. “

Meanwhile, Nadia tied the knot with Mark Adderley back in 2002 while expecting their daughter, Maddie. In 2024, she candidly spoke to Hello! about her husband’s battle with bipolar II disorder and depression.

“It breaks my heart when he tells me how sad he is because I adore him and it feels so unfair. But it’s also much better in the long run to know the truth,” Nadia expressed.

On Instagram, Mark has shared insights into his battle with alcohol abuse and his mental health struggles before getting sober. He shared a photo of himself with Maddie alongside the caption: “This was me at my most chaotic, out of control and sad. “

Nadia replied to her film producer husband, saying she was “so proud” of him. She added that he’s a “f***ing incredible husband and father” and that she would love him “now and beyond this mortal world. “

‘I can buy the best whiskey I drank in Dublin on Amazon in time for celebrating St.Patrick’s Day’

While on a trip to Dublin, Ireland, earlier this year, my boyfriend and I indulged in some classic Irish whiskey from various recognisable brands. We sampled many tipples, from the iconic Jameson brand to Roe &amp, Co., but one that stuck out so much that we bought a bottle to bring home with us—and what’s more, I’ve found the exact same brand on Amazon.

The Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey that we fell in love with while in Ireland’s capital is currently available on Amazon for the reduced price of £33.85, down from £41.95. For those keen to get their hands on this staple drink in time for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day next week, it can be delivered as soon as Thursday.

I’ve found a way of grabbing my new favourite whiskey without needing to fly to Ireland or fight my way through duty-free, as you can grab a 70-cl bottle of Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey via Amazon.

This whiskey is triple-distilled with an unconventional mash bill consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley, which is exclusively matured in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks for an aroma of red grape and berry. At the same time, this tipple boasts a silky, smooth, sweet taste and a short, dry finish. Though take not, it’s definitely a sipping whiskey – I learned this the hard way.

Boasting an impressive win of 92 points at the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Challenge, this Teeling Single Grain Whiskey can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail – if you’re not a trained mixologist, don’t fret, as you can find a comprehensive guide to the best cocktails to enjoy their whiskey from Teeling’s own site.

And it’s not just me who adores this drink, as Teeling’s Single Grain Whiskey boasts an impressive 4.6 out of 5 stars from hundreds of Amazon customer reviews.

One thrilled shopper shares: “Teeling are very experimental and this whisky is perfect as a bridge to bring bourbon drinkers over to Irish whisky. Quite young, but sweeter than most Irish. very smooth, good biscuit and fruit notes. creamy finish”. Though they do note it’s “Too expensive for me to drink regularly, but this stays on my birthday and xmas list”.

Further praise comes from this customer who beams: “Lovely stuff. Was recommended this at a tasting school and thought it was one of the best drinks that we had during the day – many people also found this to be the nicest”.

Another shopper says: “Great whiskey and not a bad price. One of Ireland finest”.

And a fourth gushes: “This is an excellent whiskey with hints of vanilla and a smooth finish. I brought back a bottle from Dublin and couldn’t resist getting another once we finished the first. This is one of my new favorites”!

If you want to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the right way or want to add a delicious whiskey to your drinks cabinet, you can pick up my new go-to whiskey from Amazon for the reduced price of £33.85 and have it on your doorstep by the end of the week.

Kate Middleton stuns in red as she returns to join King Charles for poignant service

The Princess of Wales returned to royal duties alongside King Charles to join a poignant service they both sadly missed last year.

Kate looked eye-catching in a red Catherine Walker coat and a hat by Gina Foster in the same colour as she arrived at Westminster Abbey for the annual Commonwealth Day service with Prince William. They arrived just before King Charles and Queen Camilla and were joined by other royals, including Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, as well as a 2, 000-strong congregation.

The King, who is head of the Commonwealth, gives an annual address each year to the family of 56 nations, but last year pre-recorded a video message after postponing his public-facing duties for around three months after being diagnosed with cancer.

The Princess of Wales also couldn’t attend the service last year, a key event in the royal calendar, after also being diagnosed with cancer but was among the congregation alongside the King, Queen and Prince of Wales. Kate is still making a gradual return to public duties after confirming she is in remission.

The service at Westminster Abbey, which was also attended by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, comes as the King, who is head of the Commonwealth, delivered his annual message to mark the day. He said: Leaders recently reiterated the importance of collaboration for peace and human rights, as well as for the restoration of nature both on land and in the oceans.

“As we mark Commonwealth Day together, there is no more important task than to restore the disrupted harmony of our entire planet. For the sake of our younger generations ‘ threatened future, I can only hope that the Commonwealth will continue its vital work to restore that harmony”.

Plans have been announced for celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) and Victory over Japan (VJ) Days. Charles also referenced his in the message by saying: “This year, the world reflects on the eightieth anniversary of the end of World War Two. More than one and-a-half million men and women who served during the War came from across the Commonwealth to support the United Kingdom and its allies.

” On this special anniversary, we remember with particular pride and everlasting gratitude the untold sacrifice and selflessness of so many from around our Family of Nations who gave their lives in that dreadful conflict. “

After the ceremony, the King will also launch the inaugural King’s Baton Relay at Buckingham Palace, officially starting the countdown to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Charles and Camilla will also be guests of the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Baroness Scotland, at the annual Commonwealth Day reception on Monday evening and hear a commemorative song by Andrew Lloyd Webber to mark the inaugural Commonwealth Peace Prize.

Commonwealth Day on Monday is also being marked by the release of a playlist Charles has compiled following a collaboration with Apple Music for his King’s Music Room show. Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones and contemporary artists Davido and Raye are among those who make it into Charles’s top tracks from across the Commonwealth.

Hill eyes PGA Tour card after Joburg Open victory

Getty Images

Calum Hill hopes the momentum gained from his Joburg Open triumph can help him reach his chief goal of securing a PGA Tour card.

The 30-year-old Scot sealed his second DP World Tour title in South Africa on Sunday and his victory took him to 11th on the Race to Dubai ranking.

The top 10 players on that list at the end of the year who do not already have PGA Tour status receive a card for the United States-based circuit.

“My wife Miranda’s from Arizona, so I’ve spent a lot of time out there and it would suit me nicely if I was able to continue the position I’m in and by the end of the year get one of those 10 cards – I’d be very happy”.

Hill, from Crook of Devon, secured victory at the Joburg Open on the second play-off hole after he equalled a course-record 62 in his final round.

The dramatic victory lifted him 126 places to 160th in the world ranking.

Robert MacIntyre is 18th in the world and Hill admits all the Scots on the DP World Tour are eager to be playing in the States with him.

“All of us that are in that same group that are playing in Europe right now are all aiming for that card to get to America”, added Hill, whose first title came at the Cazoo Classic in London in 2021.
