Meghan Markle reveals two very surprising jobs she had before Suits fame

Despite mixed reviews, Meghan Markle showed off her culinary skills in her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan.

And she revealed that long before she became an actress on Suits, she actually had two jobs in the culinary industry.

In the third episode of the series, where she is seen making donuts, Meghan first revealed her former employment. Doing so “reminds me of my childhood,” according to Prince Harry’s wife. I once worked at Little Orbit Donuts, a donut shop.

In episode five, she revealed a new foodie job where she spends time with LA chef Roy Choi. With the aid of Lilibet, Meghan can be seen making a vanilla ice cream recipe using the strawberry preserve she and her daughter Lilibet “picked all the berries.”

She then goes on to explain that her grandmother was an ice cream maker when she was 13 years old and that her first job was also one there. She reveals that “my first job was at Humphrey Yogarts.”

Meghan and her husband, who are both excited to see her return to the business world with her Netflix series and lifestyle brand As Ever, spoke about her new lifestyle show in an interview with PEOPLE.

When my husband sees me doing what I was supposed to do when he first met me, I see this spark in his eye,” she said.

It’s almost like a honeymoon, because it’s exactly how it was when he first watched me write letters, edit edits, and be all about the details. I believe he enjoys watching just as much as I enjoy creating original ideas. Simply put, it was enjoyable. I’ve always been this way.

On Tuesday, last week, the first season of With Love, Meghan debuted on Netflix. The streaming service also revealed that the show has been renewed for a second season despite receiving negative reviews from TV viewers and critics.

Additionally, it was confirmed that episodes from the second season have already been recorded and will be streaming later this year. With Love, Meghan will return for Season 2 on Netflix, according to the news release.

The announcement continued, “And now, there’s more joy to be shared as With Love, Meghan returns later this fall,” according to the announcement. The second season’s filming is over.

This indicates that Netflix intended to release a second season of the show, regardless of how well it received both critical feedback and streaming traffic. TV viewers have criticized the program, while critics have called it “bland,” and the show has received negative reviews.

Check out our collection of some of the show’s how-tos for those looking to try some of Meghan and her guests’ favorite recipes and crafts at home, according to the season two announcement. Surprising way Meghan’s son Archie is following in Prince Philip’s footsteps

Little is known about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children outside of their royal families. Archie’s son, Archie, appears to be following in Prince Philip’s footsteps, just like his late great-grandpatern.

Archie, age five, and Lilibet, age two, are raised in California and are largely unconnected from King Charles and Prince William as a result of their parents’ separation from the royal family.

However, the late Duke would have been delighted by young Archie’s new hobby. The mother-of-two recalled some fond family memories, including a sweet anecdote about a fishing trip, in episode five of Meghan’s new Netflix series.

Meghan, 43, explained how Archie caught two trout while out fishing with her close friends Abigail Spencer and Kelly McKee Zajfen. Then, with her kids, she continued to say how she had “fun” salt baking the fish.

She told Abigail and Kelly, “I want them to have great formative memories of being there with me [in the kitchen].”

The late Prince Philip, who enjoyed relaxing on the River Dee in Balmoral and fished for salmon and trout, was also a huge fan of the enjoyable pastime.

Prince Philip was pictured in 2003 at Balmoral (REX).

He was known to spend hours in the water, sometimes stopping only to join the Queen and her guests for lunch or tea while wearing chest-high protective waders.

King Charles, who later taught William and Harry, how to fish, received Philip’s passion.

Archie’s only outdoor pastime is fishing, by no means. Harry revealed that he wanted to pass his passion for sport to his son Archie after he became interested in the sport during a video call with Ellery Hanley MBE, who was formerly the captain of the Wigan and Great Britain rugby league teams, in 2020.

The Duke of Sussex once remarked, “I need a few mini rugby balls so Archie can get involved in the game because there are no mini rugby balls available right now.”

However, we are very fortunate to have a small amount of space outside. I must also instruct him to play rugby league. But I am simply unbelievably fortunate and appreciative that my son can be outside.

Archie’s interest may also lead to a connection with Mike Tindall in the future, given that he has previously supported both the Rugby Football Union and the Rugby Football League.

Former England rugby captain and host of the rugby-themed podcast The Good, The Bad &amp, The Rugby, the son-in-law of Princess Anne.

When the pair were both members of the Royal Family at the time, Mike and Prince Harry reportedly had a close relationship over rugby. However, it’s believed that the two men are no longer related because of Harry and Meghan’s repeated public criticism of the royal family.

Russia-Ukraine war: List of key events, day 1,115

On Saturday, March 15, this is the situation:

Fighting

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, demanded that beleaguered Ukrainian troops in Kursk “surrender,” stating that “if they lay down their arms and surrender, they will be guaranteed life and dignified treatment.”

  • Putin made the remarks on Russian television shortly after Donald Trump claimed that the Russian military was encircling “thousands” of Ukrainian troops in Kursk. He added that he had “strongly requested” Putin to spare their lives.
  • The Russians “fabricated” any reports that Ukraine’s forces were encircled by Moscow’s troops, according to the General Staff of Ukraine, who denied once more that this was to “inspire political manipulation and exert pressure on Ukraine and its partners.”
  • 11 people, including two children, were hurt when a Russian missile struck a residential area in Kryvyi Rih, in the city of Kryvyi Rih, according to the regional governor. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s hometown, Krivyi Rih, has been the target of numerous attacks throughout Russia’s three-year, comprehensive invasion of its neighbor.
  • One person was killed when Russian-guided bombs targeted a residential area in Kherson, in southern Ukraine, according to the regional governor, who spoke on Telegram.
  • Russian drones attacked the port of Chornomorsk in the Black Sea city of Odesa, cutting off all electricity supply to the region’s residents, according to the regional governor.
  • According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Russian air defenses shot down four Ukrainian drones attacking the country’s capital. A drone reportedly threw a bomb at a residence a few kilometers from the Kremlin’s roof. According to emergency personnel, no injuries were reported from drone fragments in any other buildings, which were only marginally damaged.
  • A far-right activist was shot dead in Odesa on a street, and a suspect has been detained, Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram. The suspect, a 46-year-old man, was described as a “deserter” from the Ukrainian army. We cannot rule out the possibility that this crime was committed by Russian secret services, according to the police.

Ceasefire

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Putin met with US envoy Steve Witkoff to discuss details of the US’s proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Moscow’s war against Ukraine. He asked him to share details with him about a possible 30-day ceasefire.

  • Trump repeatedly claimed as a candidate for president that he would have the Russia-Ukraine war resolved within 24 hours, and even before he even took office, and that he was “being a little sarcastic.” Trump said in a clip made available ahead of a television interview scheduled for Sunday that “was a little bit sarcastic when I said that.”
  • Trump praised his relationship with Putin in a speech to the US Department of Justice, stating that the Russian leader “has respect for this country.” He also stated that ongoing ceasefire negotiations with Russia are ongoing. You don’t want to pick on someone who is much bigger than you, he once more said, “You don’t want to pick on someone who’s a lot larger than you.”
  • Putin, according to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, denied that he was serious about pursuing a ceasefire in Ukraine.
  • In a post on X, French President Emmanuel Macron also demanded that Moscow stop its “violent acts” in Ukraine.
  • Russia was advised by G7 foreign ministers that new sanctions would apply unless it agreed to a ceasefire “on equal terms.” These sanctions could include “caps on oil prices, as well as additional support for Ukraine, and other means,” according to the ministers.

diplomacy and politics

  • On Saturday, Zelenskyy and about 25 European Union and other world leaders will be able to discuss European support for Ukraine during a video conference. According to diplomatic sources, Kaja Kallas, the EU’s foreign affairs chief, wants to provide Ukraine with up to 40 billion euros ($43. 5 billion) in new military aid.
  • The “coalition of the willing,” which includes Europe, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, will be urged by the UK’s Starmer to pledge allegiance to Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia to accept a ceasefire during the video conference.
  • According to a report from the North Korean state media, Russian deputy foreign minister Andrei Rudenko is traveling there.
  • Following Washington’s request to force US oil company Chevron to leave the Caribbean nation, Russia and Venezuela announced plans to increase energy cooperation.

Prince Harry will not feature in second series of Meghan Markle’s Netflix show

According to reports, Prince Harry won’t appear in either Meghan Markle’s Netflix series or her new podcast at all.

Although the hostessing and homemaking program With Love, Meghan received vile reviews from the beginning, it has remained in its current series. According to some, Netflix was under pressure to use these scenes because they were shot at the same time as those from the first season.

According to an insider, Harry, 40, he won’t be in the second series entirely and he hardly ever appeared in the first. Additionally, no children will be seen there; Lilibet, three years old, and her five siblings. He’s not in it, according to a source. She and more friends are involved. More of the same. “

The Duchess of Sussex provided hosting advice and conversational topics for close friends during the first season. In a furious tirade, an industry professional attacked the show and said it was “absurd” to renew it.

However, Meghan, 43, is determined to keep up with the second block and is also reviving her podcasting career with Confessions of a Female Founder. Again, it is understood that her husband won’t be involved in this.

With Love, Meghan will return - desite being blasted by critics
Meghan will return with Love despite being criticized by critics on Netflix.

Harry and Meghan reportedly hit a professional crossroads last year, according to reports. Meghan only attended some of the Invictus Games in Canada, leaving Harry to ride alone for the final two weeks, and this pattern continues in 2025 as a result.

And Harry was only briefly seen at the conclusion of the final episode of With Love, Meghan, the first season. Meghan’s celebration brunch was preceded by the duke’s appearance to celebrate the launch of her new lifestyle brand, As Ever.

The prince mumbled, “Well done, you did a really great job, and I love it,” while appearing sheepish in front of the camera. He then said, “To you, raising a glass.” “

Royal commentator Alison Boshoff wrote for Mail Online: “As Meghan moves into her new role in the spotlight, it is difficult to avoid coming to the conclusion that Harry has become the ‘spare’ at least in his wife’s working life… Harry appears to have retreated into domestic obscurity as she embarks on a new media blitz, appearing on red carpets and chat shows.

“Recent reports that there is marital trouble in their Montecito paradise are described as “exaggerated” by family members. According to some, Meghan and Harry “fully support each other’s work while also pursuing their own passions,” and that the duchess always called her a “personal project.” “
