Before the 2025 Oasis reunion tour, Liam Gallagher and his fiance Debbie Gwyther had been living in the countryside.

Liam Gallagher may be proud of his Mancunian heritage, but he will remain a Londoner for the foreseeable future once he leaves his country and re-enters the city.

The musician, 52, is well known for playing in Oasis alongside his 57-year-old brother Noel Gallagher.

The brothers famously split up in 2009, bringing the band’s era to an end, but last year they surprised fans by announcing they would be taking the band on a brand-new tour after reuniting and burying the hatchet.

The first concert is scheduled for July in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, and rehearsals are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks.

According to reports, Liam has since moved from his Cotswolds home to his north London residence so that he can be near the rehearsal room.

He had previously rented an 11-bedroom mansion with his 40-year-old fiancee for a reported monthly rent of £19, 000. According to some, Liam has grown weary of living in the Cotswolds while his wife lives there and is awaiting the completion of renovation work on her London home.

It took him six hours round trip from Gloucestershire to London, according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, and it seemed logical to return. After all the hype, the actual tour preparations are finally occurring, which means he needs to “be here now.”

One notable duo’s reputation as the best band of all time may be in decline as fans count down the days until Oasis’s eager reunion tour.

Gene and Lennon Gallagher, Liam’s sons, recently gave an interview to Icon magazine.

Lennon, 25, said Patsy Kensit was always top of the list for him. I devoted my life to Nirvana’s videos as a child.

Gene, 23, a younger brother of Nicole and Liam, said: “It was Lennon that got me into harder music. I enjoyed the Who and the Beatles as a child, and he was the one to keep me informed of what was going on in the music scene.

For the magazine fashion shoot, the pair both posed in a variety of designer coats and suits. And Gene mentioned attempting to achieve success by touring with his band Villanelle. He performed as a member of Liam’s Definitely Maybe solo tour last year.

Gene acknowledged that “the pressure is there, but it’s a good pressure,” despite being related to Liam. It’s motivating and exciting.

Paul O’Grady’s cause of death and desperate health battles as final moments revealed

In Paul O’Grady’s final moments, bittersweet details have surfaced two years after his death. Prior to his passing, the late broadcaster had a number of serious health issues, including several heart attacks.

Intimate details about Paul O’Grady’s final moments have emerged, exactly two years on since the TV personality’s tragic death. The beloved broadcaster, who previously doubted whether he’d make it to 60 or not, died “unexpectedly but peacefully” on March 28, 2023 at the age of 67.

With today marking the second anniversary of his death, Paul’s husband André Portasio marked the milestone by sharing a heartwarming video of the late star that was filmed just moments before his passing. In the video, Paul appeared in great spirits as he thanked his fans for reading one of his books. Sadly, just 20 minutes after filming the clip, he died.

Posting the clip to Instagram, Andre wrote: “It’s incredible how our minds can shield us from the pain of loss in moments of shock. Today, my iPhotos reminded me of a lost video I recorded of Paul just 20 minutes before he sadly passed – what became the last recording he ever made to camera.

You see him as the sincere person he was in this bittersweet moment, showing his gratitude to everyone for funding his book, which he recorded for an event he couldn’t attend. It’s hard to believe his passing has occurred two years ago. He spends the entire day surrounded by his devoted dogs. @paulogrady, we miss you dearly. Happy birthday, heaven-seekers! #paulogrady. “

Paul’s official death certificate confirmed he’d died from sudden cardiac arrhythmia, which, according to the British Heart Foundation, usually occurs when an untreated abnormal heart rhythm, known as an arrhythmia, leads to a cardiac arrest.

Heart disease ran in Paul’s family, with his mother Mary and father Patrick once both suffering heart attacks in the same week. Tragically, Patrick’s proved to be fatal, while Mary later died of a separate attack. As his final moments have been revealed, The Mirror takes a look at the icon’s long battles with his health…

Three heart attacks before the age of 65

Paul, a 47-year-old man, had several heart attacks while he was an adult. The first one occurred in 2002.

The shock health scare prompted Paul to make some significant lifestyle changes, giving up booze and ramping up his exercise routine as he began confronting the idea of his own mortality.

I grew up overnight, Paul once said to the Daily Express. I’ve been toeing the line ever since, and it really did shake me. I’ve just sort of snoozed up. Last month, I had no alcohol on my birthday. I’d no longer be able to neck ten pints of cider, as it used to be. The discomfort is not worth it.

“I once believed I could be invincible, but I’m running out of lives right now.” I’m not at all afraid of dying… I’m worried about how you pass away, that’s the fear.

Unfortunately, Paul experienced a second, more severe heart attack in 2006. Paul was given blood-thinning medication and left feeling like a “wreck” after going through tests and having surgery to open an artery.

Speaking with the Mirror at the time, Paul shared: “I’m like a broken toy – I’m f****d. I think I should really just be taken out and shot.

It’s fair to say that I’m not performing at my best. I’ve had so many blood tests that my arms look junkie. You wouldn’t even recognize me. Days pass without feeling particularly tired. My blood is so thin and the tablets cause me to cough a lot, which causes a huge bruise when I bang myself on the sofa. I’m a total wreck.

This second attack occurred almost a year after Brendan Murphy, 49, Paul’s ex-partner and manager, tragically passed away from brain cancer. Paul continued, “The doctor said that a trauma like that would put a lot of pressure on my heart, and it’s not unusual for something to happen a year later.”

Paul suffered a second heart attack in 2014, calling himself “a human version of the Titanic, always avoiding icebergs.”

Paul told the Daily Star, “My cardiologist thought I should have a pacemaker, so he sent me to the specialist,” after receiving a clean health bill in 2021. I had the ECG and all of that, but the doctor said, “You don’t need the pacemaker.” Keep doing whatever you’re doing,”

Nearly fatal virus

On top of the issues with his heart, Paul nearly died from kidney failure while filming for For the Love of Dogs: India in 2017. The keen animal lover had been playing with wounded street dogs when he contracted a virus that left him vomiting and seriously dehydrated.

With his signature wit, Paul told the Mirror in 2018: “Getting ill was my own fault. They said to me, ‘Keep off the streets, it’s Delhi’. But I was lying in the gutter with these two gorgeous little puppies.

You forget that I’m hand-feeding them and spitting maggots from a rat bite, and of course I must have even touched my mouth or face. You don’t get squeamish when you work with animals.

I’m still vomiting at five in the morning. I’m still at it at ten in the evening. They called the doctor, who informed them that you were going in because you were so dehydrated. Your white blood cells are going bad, and you’re going to have renal failure, they told me when I first went there.

Paul was taken to the hospital where he spent just one night on the wards, where he was being treated for saline and antibiotics, but after one more night he was discharged, he decided to return to work.

Long Covid issues

Paul was forced to miss two months of work because of Covid-19 because he was so severely affected by it. He claimed in the Mirror, “I escaped Covid until last year, and I caught it.” I was extremely ill, so I didn’t think much of it.

I was shocked at how bad I was when it wiped me out. After it, I spent about two months getting over it. My breath had vanished. On the way home from the pigs, I would have to sit down two or three times, wheezing.

The Blankety Blank star’s cardiologist advised him because he was concerned for his health and worried that he might never recover. Paul spent the summer of 2022 recovering at his farm in Kent after being identified as a long Covid victim by subsequent x-rays.

Paul once said, “I slept all night. I’d go downstairs, get up, and then go to sleep for four more hours before going out. It was very strange for me to get up, drink a cup of tea, and then go back to bed the next day. Simply put, I disliked it. Never have I ever had such a bad night’s sleep. Even after all the jabs, I was done.

I’m over it now, but once I thought, “Is this ever going to end?” Will I ever experience recovery and a decrease in fatigue? It wasn’t pleasant.

“Great love” of smoking

Paul would joke that he had two great loves: “Benson and Hedges,” and that he had an cigarette addiction. The TV star, who would smoke 40 cigarettes per day, once remarked, “I’ve always said I have two great loves, Benson and Hedges, so it’s not been easy to quit.”

“But I believe my heart problems are congenital, despite smoking, which hasn’t improved. It caused the deaths of my parents.

You have no idea how well-versed I have in the gym, swimming, long walks, soya milk. I believe I’ve given myself up on Jersey full-fat milk for the past few months.

Halifax advert icon Howard Brown’s very different life – including pronoun row

In a bizarre twist of fate, Howard became famous in the early 2000s.

Howard Brown was rarely off the TV in the early 2000s(Image: SUNDAY PEOPLE)

Howard from the Halifax adverts is one of those bizarre celebrities who could have only come to fame in the early 2000s. A staple of the bank’s adverts for nearly a decade, the former cashier became a celebrity almost overnight for his energetic singing and groovy dancing.

But nearly two decades on, Howard’s life took a different turn from the cult following he achieved in his acting days. But first let’s go back to the beginning.

Bring back your 2000 memories. Howard Brown, 34, was a manager at a Halifax branch in the West Midlands at the time and wanted to advance.

He auditioned for one of the bank’s TV ads on the spot and was shocked to learn he had the part. Whoever made the decision to head the national banking chain to Howard was undoubtedly paid their due.

Howard was instructed to bring only a suit, a tie, and his passport when he went to film the advertisement. He was unaware that something was about to change in his entire life.

Howard first hit our screens on Boxing Day 2000, when the whole nation saw him booging to a parody of Tom Jones’ hit Sexbomb, before being magically transported to a farm, where he sang to a fish – obviously – and continued to have an all-round great time. This was before YouTube or TikTok, but the advert still managed to become a massive viral hit.

Follow-ups also featuring Howard were even more successful, with shouts of “Who gives you extra!” echoing around beer gardens, school playgrounds, and high streets the length of breadth of the UK. Howard even appeared as himself in the 2003 Christmas Special episode of The Office.

Howard filmed his final Halifax commercial in 2008 before deciding it was time to put his dancing shoes on. Before leaving the company entirely in 2011, he began working for the bank’s public relations team. Howard appeared in a Hotels, but he wasn’t off our screens for very long. In 2017, a new ad appeared on Channel 4’s First Dates.

And in 2022 Howard hit headlines once again – but this time for a very different reason. He spoke out against his former bosses at Halifax after the bank introduced a policy including pronouns on its employee’s name badges.

The Brummie told the Daily Mail he wouldn’t want to wear a pronoun badge if he still worked for the bank, calling the attitude toward customers “shocking, wrong, and disappointing.”

He remarked, “I think it’s scandalous.” You should leave politics to the politicians because it is a service sector. This one is incorrect, they have.

I would be very upset if I were a customer, she said. A customer is a priceless commodity. You must take care of them. You are there to serve your customers when you work in the service sector. ”

What Happened, a song railing against the diversity initiative, was even released by Howard so far.

However, the lyrics to “Why do you hector me with your identity” are inappropriate. “Is there a new pronoun every day,” and “Is there a new one?” When it first appeared on the 2023 compilation, the song was labeled as “crazy” and left many listeners perplexed.

Israel launches first air strike on Lebanon’s Beirut since November truce

Israel’s first airstrike on the capital of Lebanon since a tense truce between the Israeli army and the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah in November put an end to the two’s conflict.

On Friday, Israeli forces launched four strikes in the Hadath neighborhood in Beirut’s southern suburbs, an attack that recalls the area’s months-long bombing campaign last year when Israeli jets bombed the area.

According to Ali Hashem of Al Jazeera, “We are by the building that Israel has attacked, and it is total destruction here.” Many of the families who lived there watched as the building was destroyed by Israeli warplanes.

Hashem claimed that the attack damaged the area’s shops and apartments.

The Israeli military claimed that the drone-related target was a Hezbollah military storage facility.

The rocket launch, which was Israel’s second in a row, came after Lebanon fired rockets at Israeli territory. No other organization has claimed responsibility for the two times that Hezbollah has denied involvement.

According to a statement from his office, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam instructed the Lebanese army to quickly identify and detain the rocket fire’s perpetrators, saying it “threatens Lebanon’s stability and security.”

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed that Beirut will not be peaceful as long as there is no peace in northern Israel. Katz claimed that the Lebanese government is directly responsible for the rocket fire.

Hezbollah and Israel exchanged fire for more than a year after the Lebanese armed group started firing rockets at northern Israel in October 2023 in a show of support for Hamas during Israel’s occupation of the Gaza Strip. Before the two parties agreed to end the fighting on November 27, Israel dramatically escalated the conflict in September and killed a large portion of Hezbollah’s leadership.

Israel should have withdrawn its troops from southern Lebanon, according to the US- and French-brokered agreement, but it has failed to do so in five locations. Hezbollah, for its part, agreed to abandon southern Lebanon under the Lebanese army’s exclusive military control and move its weapons and fighters north of the Litani River.

Israeli strike is criticized by Macron.

Joseph Aoun, the president of Lebanon, stated in Paris that the strike on the Beirut suburbs was a continuation of “Israel’s violations of the agreement” sponsored by France and the US.

French President Emmanuel Macron addressed the controversy with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump during a joint press conference with Aoun. He declared the attack “unacceptable.”

Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, the UN’s special representative for Lebanon, claimed that the conflict had “created a crucial period for Lebanon and the entire region.”

Concerned that the war from last year, which displaced more than 1.3 million people in Lebanon and destroyed much of the country’s south, might resume, Israel has promised to be strong in response to any threats to its security.

The first time Israel has responded to the ceasefire since the ceasefire is very relevant and consequential, according to political analyst Yossi Beilin.

According to Beilin, “the Americans and the French need to put an end to the current situation.” He claimed that although “Hezbollah is not Lebanon,” it is an “unibanded military” and that this is the challenge we are facing.

RUSSELL MYERS ‘King Charles’ hospital stay is a real worry for royals – even if it’s just a blip’

The doctor literally dictates a period of rest and recuperation. King Charles has kept an extraordinary pace throughout his cancer battle, seeing him closely during engagements both domestically and abroad.

His family has been yelling at him constantly to see if he should cut back on his efforts. However, this man is well-versed in acting in his own unique way. In addition, he is very much of the sentiment that, given his brief absence from the public spotlight last year in the immediate wake of his cancer diagnosis, he needs to “make up for lost time” in the process.

Last week’s visit to Northern Ireland (PA) was a revelation.

Following his hospital admission yesterday, royal sources described the need for him to be under observation for a few hours as “a minor bump in the road.” However, the King, the royal family, and possibly the nation in particular will worry about this.

When Charles and the Princess of Wales were diagnosed with cancer just days apart last year, both of them felt a strong sense of impending paralysis. It was a testing period for both the Buckingham and Kensington Palace corridors of power, both of which had a definite fear of the unknown and two of the monarchy’s key players had a lot to play for.

King Charles III And Queen Camilla Visit Australia And Samoa - Day Eight
Last year, Charles and Queen Camilla were in Samoa (Image: Getty))

The King has had to carry on a lot with the knowledge and acknowledgement that he will still be living with cancer because the princess has thankfully successfully finished her cancer treatment and been able to announce this year that she is cancer free.

Even the idea of having the schedule it takes every week no matter where his diary takes him across the country or indeed the world is a major factor in his weekly treatment is undoubtedly exhausting. It is truly extraordinary that he hasn’t taken a break in all of this time, which will allow him to participate in a significant tour of Australia and Samoa in October.

By reversing engagements on Thursday afternoon and a day in Birmingham to meet highly valued local communities, The King will have been disappointed. However, he will be making every effort to stay fit for the trip with a significant state visit to Italy scheduled for less than nine days.

Charles is living and breathing his legacy every day, not just because he is aware of it. He must carry a lot that other family members must also bear in order for him to accomplish everything he has aimed to do.

Saracens ‘hurting’ after Quins defeat – McCall

Mark McCall, Saracens’ director of rugby, stated that the team is struggling following last week’s defeat by Harlequins but will try to recover against Tigers of Leicester.

At the break, they gave up a 12-0 lead to lose 23-12 to Quins, and he called his side’s performance “strangely subdued” and “disappointing” in the second half.

Maro Itoje, Jamie George, Tom Willis, and Elliot Daly, who were the starting England internationals, were the match’s loser, with the quartet being named to begin the contest with Leicester.

With six matches left, the north London club is seventh in the Premiership, but if they win on Sunday, they could move up to fourth if other outcomes come in.

When I watched it back, it was a really disappointing, oddly subdued performance, McCall claimed.

Everyone is obviously hurting a little, but this week’s task is to turn that around.

The team lacked their typical energy, which you can never really determine, and that had a negative impact on everything we did.

Saracens have only lost out on a top-four spot twice since 2008-2009 when they were forced to compete in the Championship the following year because of salary cap violations.

In their final 16 of the European Champions Cup, they face Toulon, who have won six of their 12 Premiership games this year and lost six of them.

Last time out at Franklin’s Gardens, Leicester defeated Northampton Saints 33-0 to claim the title.

Itoje scheduled for a 10-day vacation

George, Willis, Daly, and captain Itoje return to the starting XV against Leicester, where they left off in the defeat against Harlequins.

Itoje, England’s skipper, has participated in every minute of its 30th Six Nations game, and McCall praised his team’s desire to return to the Sarries lineup.

It’s obvious that his Six Nations record is impressive. Additionally, it’s amazing that he wants to support his club as well. He needs to be looked after as well, and there is a plan to give him a 10-day vacation, McCall continued.

Full-teams Saracens vs. Tigers of Leicester
