Pop singer Ariana Grande has issued a statement after tickets for her 2026 The Eternal Sunshine Tour sold out within just minutes in the US – leaving legions of devastated fans grappling for resold tickets going for astronomical prices.

With UK tickets set to go live September 16, British ‘Arianators’ are anxiously prepping themselves for one of 2025’s most ferocious fan battles. It’s been six years since Ariana’s last tour, 2019 Sweetener World Tour, which drew over over 1.3 million fans across almost 100 shows. According to posts across X and TikTok, more than one million people have attempted to secure tickets to her 2026 tour, which will also see the star touch down in London for a five-night finale.

The rush has inevitably left thousands of fans upset, disappointed and desperate – in other words, a ripe environment for resellers looking to make a massive mark-up. On TikTok, one user @_cowboylikejess showed a screenshot of a resale ticket selling for $78,880 (£58,000) for the front show of tiered seating. Meanwhile, another fan @50shadesofsexiness shared a screenshot of a ticket going for $1.3 million (£956,700).

The prices have served as an ominous warning for those hoping to get their hands on concert tickets in the UK. “Ariana tickets are going to make me go grey,” one TikTok user has said as they expressed their fears over what’s been dubbed the “Ticketmaster war”.

Many in the comments have claimed that they’re not sleeping properly and feeling sick with stress, while for one: “The anxiety is eating me alive”.

However, the fans haven’t just been torturing themselves over the race to the ticket line – they’ve also taking it out on influencers.

With Ariana tickets being treated like gold dust, those who have secured them are being placed under inquisition-style scrutiny. If your fealty to the popstar is deemed to have ever wavered, then beware: the TikTok witch hunt is coming.

Makeup influencer Mikayla Nogueira appears to be the rabble’s most prominent scapegoat. The social media star made the grave error of posting that she had received front row seats, exposing herself to the wrath of the ticketless. A concerted deep dive into the artist’s post history unveiled the crime.

In an old TikTok review of an Ariana Grande makeup product, Mikayla agreed with a comment that said the packaging looked “cheap”. And while this may appear as a reasonable criticism by a reviewer, the fandom hasn’t taken it lightly. “I’m raging for everyone right now,” one wrote, while another cried: “Her biggest haters getting tickets and not her actual fans.”

However, she’s not the only one to fall victim. Online content creator Haylee Baylee recently mentioned in a comment that she hadn’t bought tickets as she wasn’t “gonna be mortal enemy number one and take anyone else’s spot. I’ll watch via TikTok live!” This was met with widespread applause from the Ariana fan community: “We cheered henny”.

In the wake of the carnage, Ariana has taken to Instagram to comment on the situation. She wrote: “Hi my angels, I have been on set all week but I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with the secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention and of course I am incredibly bothered by it.

“I’ve been on the phone every second of my free time fighting for a solution. I hear you and hopefully, we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs.

“It’s not right. I just wanted you to know that my team and I see it and that I care very much and we will do, and are doing everything we can. I love you all so much and thank you for your patience and understanding.”
