Angry Ginge, a fan favorite on the popular ITV show, is a fan favorite, but he lived quite a different life before moving to the United States because he made outrageously much money on social media.
Before I’m a Celeb, how did Angry Ginge live his life?
- Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, is a social media star who creates content about football – and makes a huge amount of money from it. From just social media, he is estimated to have made £804k and £1.1m. From appearing on I’m A Celeb, he is rumoured to be making an extra £100k.
- As part of his work covering football online, Morgan has worked with famous footballer Wayne Rooney before. The two filmed a live Fifa broadcast together, in which Wayne didn’t perform too well – at which point, Ginge told him he could come back as long as he wasn’t “s*** again”. To which Wayne said: “Ah, you ginger c***!”
- When he headed off to Australia, some thought they noticed him kissing a woman goodbye, but the social media star’s pals say he’s single. Fellow YouTuber Tays said: “He’s going on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here to find a girlfriend.” Ginge’s road to love hasn’t been smooth though, as he was once dumped via text whilst livestreaming.
- He has met a few of this year’s campmates before. Ginge and rapper Aitch have been friends for years, regularly collaborating on videos together. He has also previously met Alex Scott, who was the first campmate to be evicted from the Jungle this year.
- This isn’t the only famous friendship he’s had, as Ginge is alos friends with darts superstar Luke Littler. The YouTube and Twitch star is also a passionate darts enthusiast and took on the teen darts champion. When he lost, Ginge jokingly exclaimed: “F***ing cheating b******, f*** sake!”
