Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has shared a sweet snap with Jessie J from backstage at the hit BBC show as launch night arrives. Professional dancer Amy, 35, gushed over her “breast cancer sister” as they smiled for a selfie.
Amy, who got the all clear from the devastating disease, shared a positive message with the singer, 37, who was recently diagnosed and underwent surgery. Amy wrote on Instagram : “So amazing to meet @jessiej, a fellow breast cancer sister, but foremost an icon and mama.
It seemed as though nothing else came up when we first met, just two women sharing our stories and comprehending our agonizing highs and devastating lows.

The price tag singer’s first appearance on stage following her surgery just weeks after the emotional meeting. She has already expressed her excitement on her Instagram Stories and is now ready to rock the Strictly stars.

While Jessie hasn’t stopped giving concerts and conveying emotional messages to audiences, she has recently performed at Ronnie Scott’s club in London, Radio 2 In The Park, and other venues.
She made it known that she would have additional surgery in four weeks. She has revealed that doctors have “more breast cancer in other locations.”
The star explained that biopsies from an MRI scan had revealed the issue in a social media post last week.
She stated in a video that she performed at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, “I have had a mastectomy for breast cancer for 4 weeks, and I have 4 weeks until my next operation.”
“I feel like only now I’m really processing how much I have done in the last 5 months since my diagnosis. I am not ashamed to say I am so proud of myself. “This showcase was the afternoon after I had 5 more biopsies after they had found more breast cancer in other places after my MRI. No one knew at this point. So watching this back just feels so special knowing what I have endured and overcome.
