Chappell Roan sat down for a tell-all interview with Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper. The queer pop artist, known for her rebellious and risqué aura, had a lot to say, spilling all about her new “serious” relationship, her relationship with fame and even teased new music.

Her guest appearance comes after her March 14th, country-tinged single, “The Giver.” Since her successful single Good Luck, Babe from last year, she made her first music album!

Her debut album, The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess, led her fame to skyrocket, as well as her Coachella set last year.

Chappell is engaged to a “serious relationship.”

Chappell Roan hasn’t been on the market and has told Alex Cooper she’s been “very in love” and “in a serious relationship” for the past six months. The singer claimed that she and her girlfriend had dated before Chappell’s rise to fame, though she declined to provide too many details.

Chappell revealed that although they had known one another before, they had already been connected through a mutual friend. The Good Luck Babe! is not only in love, but also! Singer admitted that she is “pro single,” stating, “I’m serious, everyone should be single.” a single person. Stop dating. a single person. Enjoy your time by yourself. If you can be completely at ease alone before you date, find out for yourself.

Chappell stated that she had a “great time” in her single years and that she had never dated anyone since becoming famous. Since this entire situation, I haven’t dated anyone since. She believes that when fans approach her, they are “funny.”

Chappell claimed that her fans are hesitant to approach her because of her previous “predatory behavior” during a conversation with Alex. She claimed to have “made a big deal about not talking to me that people don’t talk to me” when she told Alex.

Last year, she made headlines after she went on a social media rant about being targeted by “weird” fans who had stalked her family and bullied her online. Chappell took The Voice auditions.

Chappell Roan revealed that she auditioned for talent show, The Voice, telling Call Her Daddy listeners that she sung Break Free by Ariana Grande. She didn’t make it through auditions, but didn’t seem too cut up about it.

“I didn’t make it on the show, obviously. Thank God,” she told Alex. There isn’t a lot of information about her audition for The Voice, but she did speak about it in 2022 during an interview with Illustrate Magazine. The singer also revealed to have auditioned for America’s Got Talent.

Because I’m gay, people believe I’m educated.

Chappell claimed that because she’s gay, people expect her to be “educated” and “way more politically correct” and “way more knowledgeable.” She continued, “I don’t know everything about every subject that interests me, such as being gay. I try to know everything, but I sometimes feel like, “How can I do it all” if I don’t respond to a question correctly or acknowledge one community?

On days off, she prefers to keep it casual.

Chappell, who is renowned for her extravagant and colorful outfits, admitted to removing the “crazy” clothing that had become a barrier between her public and private persona. She said, “I would go out wearing this insane drag make-up and all these thrifted ’70s disco, always in f–king heels, just maximalist,” and that was amazing.

She continued, “But there wasn’t any separation.” “I would be on stage as that, and then I would be out as Kayleigh.” What’s the distinction between Chappell and (Kayleigh) in the mirror for me?

Young Chappell stopped now that she couldn’t “register” her.

The singer claimed that her younger self didn’t “register” who she had become. She explained to the host in the Call Her Daddy podcast that when she was younger, she felt restricted and that her young self wouldn’t be able to recognize her.
