4 dead in election-related clashes as Cameroon’s Biya wins eighth term

With a record 53.6% of the vote, Cameroon’s 92-year-old president Paul Biya has won an unprecedented eighth term. At least four people were killed in protests allegedly involving election fraud, according to his rival, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, who also won.
