35 Lagos Lawmakers Arrive Court Over Obasa’s Removal

The Lagos State High Court has received the testimony of 35 lawmakers from the House of Assembly in favor of Mudashiru Obasa’s removal as speaker.

On January 13, 2025, Obasa had filed a lawsuit against his dismissal by at least 36 of his coworkers.

The plaintiff claimed that 36 lawmakers removed him from his position on January 13, 2025, while he was away from the country in the application filed on February 12, 2025, and filed by his attorney, Chief Afolabi Fashanu (SAN).
