Boden’s Cropped Double Cloth Trousers have been reduced by 50% in the brand’s summer sale and are available in a range of colours and prints – but some shoppers have been left disappointed

Boden shoppers have been rushing to grab a half-price pair of trousers that have been slashed from £69 to just under £35. The Cropped Double Cloth Trousers feature a summery blue and white striped design and are crafted from a breathable 100% cotton fabric that’s perfect for warm weather.

The trousers hit just above the ankle in a flattering length that’s effortless to style with sandals, ballet flats, or trainers. Boasting relaxed loose-fit legs and a comfortable shirred elasticated waist, they’re as practical as they are stylish.

The trousers are offered in UK sizes 6-22 and also arrive in a classic white, pink, and blue amongst other shades. Boden customers have been singing the praises of the Cropped Double Cloth Trousers online.

One purchaser said: “I have these trousers in three different colours. The elasticated waist is on the tight side but I don’t find them uncomfortable and I love the look and feel of them. They look smart and don’t crease. I would recommend.”

Another person commented: “Perfect length just above my ankle. The waistband is soft and broad, elasticated for joyous comfort. The colour is a beautiful navy with a brightness that gives a definite blue. Crinkle fabric finish is so summery.”

Alternative trousers with an elasticated waist available to purchase now include New Look’s Black Wide Leg Trousers that arrive in an on-trend satin fabric that will transition well into autumn. They’ve been reduced from £33 to £15.

Another choice is Next’s Wide Leg Jacquard Trousers which are on offer in an autumnal berry red shade or a versatile olive green for £38. They’re available in three different lengths; short, regular and long, reports Yorkshire Live.

Whilst numerous reviewers adore the Boden Cropped Double Cloth Trousers, one noted: “I am about 5 foot 6 and these were full length on me! I bought some last year and they were cropped. Disappointing.”

Others were quite pleased with the fit, with one commenting: “Lovely fit, works for smart and casual. Light and airy. Great waistband that is comfy and doesn’t twist.”

Another penned: “These pants are a dream. Fit so well, smooth out mid section, breezy, comfortable! Wear them all the time – dress up or down. Good most seasons.”

Jamie Laing is said to have “snaked” his former Made In Chelsea pals, leaving them enraged. The reality star turned podcast host and his wife Sophie Habboo are to star in an upcoming Disney+ series, which will document their “no holds barred” journey to parenthood.

The couple, who are expecting their first child, will see Sophie’s pregnancy and their day-to-day life filmed in a fly-on-the-wall series, as they attempt to move into their new family home. But it’s claimed that the move has left their former pals in a state of rage.

Sources have claimed that an argument has kicked off behind the scenes after a string of former stars from the E4 reality show believed they were all taking part in the series, which now focuses on Jamie and Sophie.

Reports claim that Jamie and Sophie have been “snaking” their pals and have been accused of “hijacking” the lavish deal with the streaming giant, which also airs The Kardashians. It’s said that Louise Thompson and her partner Ryan Libby, Millie Mackintosh and her husband Hugo Taylor, had also been in on the deal – and had already started filming.

Now, it’s claimed that they have been scrapped from the line-up altogether. “They had all been signed to the top secret Disney project, and then Jamie snaked them, is what we’re being told,” a source said. They went on to tell The Sun that all four had signed up and started as Disney had been wanting to build it’s reality TV roster.

“But then Jamie and Habs got pregnant. Disney agreed the focus should be on them alone because their podcast is going great guns, they’ve been given a Radio 1 show, and Jamie’s ultra-marathon efforts endeared him to the nation,” they added. The source went on to say that Louise, Ryan, Millie and Hugo had been left “high and dry”.

The source continued to claim that the four had turned down the chance to appear on the Made In Chelsea spin-off, Beyond Chelsea, so had “lost money.” “They’re absolutely livid and feel they’ve been snaked. There is huge animosity and it is all incredibly awkward – not least because Chelsea isn’t a huge place so they are bound to bump into one another in bars and shops, it’s pretty explosive,” they said.

The claims of another feud come after Jamie addressed his ongoing tension with his once best pal, Spencer Matthews. The pair had once been incredibly close, but in recent years, they have drifted apart, and the reason remains unclear, as dozens of claims have been speculated about.

Spencer was left off the invite list for Jamie and Sophie’s first wedding in the UK two years ago. But it was later claimed that Spencer had acted badly during their second ceremony in Spain. Speaking to You Magazine, Jamie called his fellow TV star “hard to get along with” as he candidly opened up on their friendship. “Look, what can I say? I love Spencer, I really love him so much, and I don’t think he’d mind me saying this… um… look, Spencer’s a hard person to be friends with,” he said.

“We were thick as thieves for a long time, but I think what happens is family and life. From my side, I have no jealousy towards him whatsoever. I only love and adore him more than anything in the entire world. I still consider him one of my closest friends, and I’m godfather to his daughter. But, yeah… I mean… You would have to ask him.”

A representative for Jamie declined to comment. The Mirror has approached a spokesperson for Sophie, Millie and Louise, as well as Disney+ for comment.

Nadiya Bychkova has broken her silence after falling on her back in a horror fall during Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals. The Strictly professional was rushed to hospital yesterday during rehearsals, The Mirror exclusively revealed.

The star was training in north London on Tuesday lunchtime when she was left in agony after injuring herself, with an ambulance being called. An insider told us: “It looked pretty nasty and no-one was taking any chances. The Strictly crew rushed into action and she was stretchered out,” with a source close to Strictly adding that rehearsals continued.

“As a precaution, following a fall during rehearsals, Nadiya was taken to hospital for checks and is receiving full support from medical and welfare teams. Rehearsals continue and the Strictly team are in close contact with Nadiya,” the source said. It comes after a Strictly Come Dancing star pulled out of the show as he made a career announcement.

Nadiya has now broken her silence following the horror fall and explained how “scary” it had all been. Fans had been worried about whether she could continue in the competition, which kicks off in a matter of weeks.

She wrote on social media: “Well… where do I start? What a 24 hours! Thank you so much for all the messages, love and support. I just wanted you to know that I am ok. I had a fall in training yesterday and landed on my back.

“I was really worried for a while and I was so thankful to the Strictly family and medical team who really looked after me. The staff at the hospital were so kind and caring. I’m smiling in the picture but it was really scary and there were a few tears as I had to lie still for hours but I was given the all-clear after an x-ray and allowed to go home.”

Giving an update, she added: “I’ve got some physio today but I will be back on that dance floor soon and I’ll be ready to shine and sparkle in the new series of the biggest show on TV. I can’t wait for you to see it. Keep dancing!”

Nadiya horrified Strictly fans when they learned of her fall – but it looks like she will be ok and will be able to dance this series.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 12:37pm on Tuesday 12 August to reports of an incident at Regent’s Park Road, NW1. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated one person before taking them to hospital”.

Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has opened up about his one regret when it comes to his filmography and names the one and only movie of his that he watches

Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed what his biggest movie regret is in a rare interview about his impressive acting accolades and his personal life, which he likes to usually keep extremely private.

The Oscar-winning actor, 50, who is gearing up for the release of his brand-new movie One Battle After Another, has shed light on his current relationship with Vittoria Ceretti, his feelings about turning 50, and his acting success over the years.

Titanic actor Leo, who is best known for other roles including The Wolf of Wall Street, This Boy’s Life, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?, and Catch Me If You Can, revealed that his biggest regret when it comes to his movie past is turning down a role which Mark Wahlberg later got cast for. It comes after it was revealed why Matthew McConaughey lost the iconic Titanic role to Leonardo.

Wahlberg’s performance in the 1997 box office hit Boogie Nights earned him global notoriety, and Leonardo couldn’t help but be green with envy after watching the movie that he passed on.

Speaking to Esquire, The Revenant star admitted: “My biggest regret is not doing Boogie Nights. It was a profound movie of my generation. I can’t imagine anyone but Mark [Wahlberg] in it. When I finally got to see that movie, I just thought it was a masterpiece.”

Boogie Nights, released in 1997, focuses on the rise and fall of a young adult film star named Dirk Diggler, played by Wahlberg. The story, set in the 1970s and early 80s, follows Dirk’s journey from dishwasher to a prominent figure in the adult film industry under the guidance of director Jack Horner, portrayed by Burt Reynolds.

The film explores themes of ambition, fame, drugs, and the darker side of the adult film world – something which Leonardo, 50, feels he missed out on by not taking the role.

When it comes to watching his own movies back, Leo said that there’s one in particular that he was watched several times, whereas he doesn’t really bother tuning into any others.

“I rarely watch any of my films, but if I’m being honest, there is one that I’ve watched more than others,” he said.

“It’s The Aviator. That’s simply because it was such a special moment to me. I had worked with Marty Scorsese on Gangs of New York, and I’d been toting around a book on Howard Hughes for 10 years.

“I almost did it with Michael Mann, but there was a conflict and I ended up bringing it to Marty. I was 30. It was the first time as an actor I got to feel implicitly part of the production, rather than just an actor hired to play a role.

“I felt responsible in a whole new way. I’ve always felt proud and connected to that film as such a key part of my growing up in this industry and taking on a role of a real collaborator for the first time.”

On turning 50 and getting older, Leo said: “Turning 50 creates a feeling like you have a desire to just be more honest and not waste your time. I can only imagine how the next few decades are going to progress.

“I look at my mother, for example, and she just says exactly what she thinks and wastes no time. She spends no time trying to fake it.”
