‘A culture to win’ – how have Man City turned form around?

September had the potential to cause Manchester City and Pep Guardiola to experience a crisis following the disappointing August.

Before the international break, City had concerns after suffering four successive Premier League defeats against Brighton and Tottenham. However, they have since won four games in a row. The Guardiola garden is once more rosy.

With two Maxime Esteve own goals and Erling Haaland scoring twice in the closing seconds, Scott Parker’s side battled hard for Saturday’s 5-1 victory over Burnley.

However, at the same time as Liverpool, the title-winning champions and Premier League leaders, suffered a last-gasp defeat at Crystal Palace, allowing City to reduce their deficit to five points.

Guardiola says to the players, “You are so good.

Guardiola’s end-of-the-day expression displayed a man who was both proud of the team’s victory and concerned that City are on the verge of regaining their best form.

Although the scoreline did flatter them, City must take advantage of the opportunities when Liverpool let them down, and they did so on this occasion.

Guardiola claims to have changed his tactics, but he is starting a young City side with the unstoppable Haaland in the front line. Bernardo Silva, Nathan Ake, and John Stones’ combined experience to start the game off the bench.

Their seven-game winning streak included victories over Napoli, Huddersfield, and Burnley on Saturday, with the only letdown being a late draw at Arsenal last Sunday. Their first seven games in 22 days in three competitions saw them defeat rivals Manchester United.

The training was going well and the team had confidence heading into the derby, which was a feeling that was not lost because it led to a result that City had taken advantage of.

If City can finish off the season with further encouraging results at Monaco and Brentford next week, Guardiola will be pleased with the progress being made. This period of games would not have been City’s best bet, but it would have provided a good indicator of where the team are now.

Guardiola said, “These new players must understand that this club has a culture that you have to win.” Without that, what has happened in the last ten years would not have happened where we were, by far, England’s best team in terms of numbers and everything.

The players believe that all the patterns and mentality are present throughout every training session to perform at your best. After just six Premier League games, I never considered that when we had previously won the leagues. I just thought about the potential benefits of the upcoming games.

Without players who are not used to playing in the past, such as John, Nathan, and Bernardo, the young, young team is still in existence. The team is excellent, in my opinion.

You are so good, guys, I always say that. I’m hoping they will think of me.

Phil Foden appears to have recovered from Kevin de Bruyne’s departure, who is now in good form and is returning to the form that made him the 2024 PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the Premier League Player of the Year.

Haaland finds the net once more with the slogan “It’s his job.”

Haaland had barely had a sniff as the clock drew nearer to the final minute of the game against Burnley, but the Norwegian goal machine suddenly came to life.

The 25-year-old won the game in the 90th minute before flying home in style three minutes later to clinch the plaudits once more.

His manager highlighted the crucial role he plays in the team, adding 15 goals to his total this season in just nine games.

Guardiola said, “Doing his best Roy Keane impression is his job,” Guardiola said. He scored twice for Matheus Nunes, who won 2-1, and added an assist. He is a very significant figure to us.

“He always seems to have the potential to score, and I’m very pleased with the team’s performance.”

Atletico Thrash Liga Leaders Real Madrid In Thrilling Derby

With a 5-2 victory over La Liga leaders Real Madrid on Saturday, Julian Alvarez scored twice, putting an end to their perfect start to the season for their rivals.

At the Metropolitano Stadium, Diego Simeone’s Atletico overran them in all six of their opening games, taking the lead through Robin Le Normand.

Real Madrid opened the scoring with Kylian Mbappe and Arda Guler, but Alexander Sorloth equalized for Atletico at the conclusion of a thrilling first half.

After a shaky start to the campaign, with Atletico moving provisionally to fourth, Alvarez fired home from the penalty spot and bent home a free kick before Antoine Griezmann scored the fifth late on to seal an important win.

Real entered the derby as the only team in the league with a 100 percent record, led by a flying Mbappe.

Atletico attacked relentlessly and deservedly won despite the French superstar’s eighth league goal of the year.

Le Normand headed home after 14 minutes to start the scoring after coach Diego Simeone’s son, Giuliano Simeone, made use of slack Madrid defense.

After breaking in down the right, Mbappe leveled with a crisp finish and the visitors did well.

With Alonso’s side hoping to move forward on the counter, Atletico were attempting to make use of Vinicius Junior and Mbappe’s pace.

The Brazilian winger crossed for Guler to score in the second goal of Madrid, turning brilliantly in the box to break away from Marcos Llorente and Le Normand.

As Atletico continued to advance, Alvarez curled a shot around Thibaut Courtois but against the box. In the middle of the match, Alvarez scored a hat-trick against Rayo Vallecano.

Clement Lenglet, a defensive partner for Atletico, scored, but the Frenchman used his forearm to deflect the ball home. The goal was declared a handball.

With Sorloth lurking behind Dean Huijsen and sending a header past Courtois in the first half of stoppage time, Atletico leveled.

The Norwegian international was celebrating with Atletico fans when they embraced him, a risky move when he was already receiving a yellow card.

When Guler awarded a penalty for hitting Nico Gonzalez with a high foot, which caught the Rojiblanco player’s head, Atletico took the lead for the second time in the match.

Even though Alvarez went the wrong way, Courtois won the match from the spot after a penalty that was controversially disallowed in the Champions League shoot-out the previous time these teams met.

Courtois saved from Sorloth, but Atletico pushed two goals clear with his free kick despite having a hand to Alvarez’s free kick.

After only their third league victory of the season, Atletico talisman Griezmann’s team won by rolling the ball past Courtois in a superb victory for their team.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin gets bad news just minutes before series launch

After Amber Davies was announced as Dani Dyer’s replacement, and professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin received a significant blow to the Strictly Come Dancing winner, the odds were drastically changed.

Strictly Come Dancing hasn’t even hit the ballroom floor yet, but already the drama has kicked off – and it’s bad news for pro dancer Nikita Kuzmin.

In a shock twist just days before the live shows, former Love Island star Amber Davies has been drafted in to replace Dani Dyer – and the shake-up has caused chaos in the betting markets.

Earlier this week, Dani had to withdraw from the dance show after fracturing her ankle during training. The former Love Island winner had been partnered with Nikita Kuzmin . Following her departure, Amber, who won Love Island the series before Dani, was picked as a replacement.

Since the news was made public, the odds have dramatically changed, with Amber emerging as a strong contender before she even has her dancing shoes laced up. Slingo, an online casino, has chosen her at 5 / 1, placing her right in the middle of the pack.

That means Nikita, who had been predicted to win with Dani, suddenly finds himself in a more fragile position. Fans predicted that this could be the Ukrainian pro’s year because he has come so painfully close to Strictly glory. However, Amber’s arrival signifies a much more difficult competition ahead.

Even so, Nikita might not get all the bad news. As the series progresses, Amber’s enormous online following, which she has grown to since winning in Love Island, could give them an unanticipated advantage. With millions of supporters behind her, she could easily snag votes from rival contestants.

Amber Davies’ announcement to replace Dani Dyer has caused a significant shake-up in the betting industry, according to a Slingo spokesman. She currently has a winning odds of 5/1, just behind Lewis Cope, who is currently in contention, and fan favorites Vicky Pattison, who is 2/1, and George Clarke, who are both 9/2.

“It’s a blow for pro Nikita, who looked poised to finally secure his first ever Glitterball trophy alongside Dani. Partnered with Amber, the odds suggest the road ahead may be more competitive, but her profile brings a different kind of advantage. Since her Love Island win, Amber has built a fiercely loyal online fanbase of millions on Instagram, and that loyalty will be put to the test throughout the series. If her fans rally behind her, it could spell trouble for rivals like George Clarke, whose following is only a fraction of Amber’s.”*

And that’s where things start to become interesting. Amber’s addition to the line-up could alter the way the competition plays out, even though Lewis Cope is still the bookies’ favorite at 7/4. Vicky Pattison, a favorite on reality TV, is a distant second at 2/1, while George Clarke, a property expert, is 9/2. However, Amber is already rattling the top contenders before the first paso doble, with her current rating at 5/1.

The Glitterball is still very much in the series, despite Amber’s last-minute addition adding some unpredictability. It’s about resetting expectations and seeing if Nikita’s new partner’s star power will live up to.

This comes after Dani Dyer shared a message to the Strictly cast ahead of tonight’s live show, after the cast were reported to be ‘furious’ about her replacement, Amber Davies .

Dani has since taken to Instagram to wish the cast and crew the best of luck. Good luck to all the gorgeous cast members starting their strictly journey tonight, she wrote in her stories: “We know how hard you’ve all been working.. see you all soon.

Due to Amber’s extensive dance training, Dani’s replacement is said to be causing controversy among Strictly stars. The 28-year-old has previously worked as a dancer at London’s Cirque Le Soir and has appeared in leading roles in dance-heavy musicals like 9 to 5.

According to an insider, the other competitors felt it was “unfair” that someone with such training was chosen, especially when another of this year’s replacement castmates, Lewis Cope , also has dance experience.

The source told The Sun, “The celebs are trying to be good sports about everything and don’t want to let on that they’re unhappy.” However, all the talk is rifling in the background because they believe it unfair that the lineup now includes two master dancers with extensive stage experience. One celebrity with that kind of background is one thing, but two are seen as unfair, especially if they both made the final.

This sense of unhappiness was strongly denied by the BBC , who told the Daily Mail: “We’ve been shown absolutely no evidence to suggest that this story is true, or that the anonymous quote it is based on is from anyone connected to the series.”

The Devil Wears Prada star sends fans wild as she attends Milan Fashion Week in character

In the course of Devil Wears Prada 2 filming, Meryl Streep and her co-star Stanley Tucci kept their physicality while attending a fashion show.

Meryl Streep has sent fans wild as she was spotted in the front row at the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Fashion Week – while still in character as Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada.

She was seen alongside her co-star Stanley Tucci, who was also in character as Nigel, the long-suffering art director to Meryl’s hellish magazine editor. The pair are in the middle of filming scenes for the hotly anticipated The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Her hair was styled in Miranda’s signature pixie cut, a trendy tan coat, cinched with a leopard print belt, and adorned with yellow-framed sunglasses when Meryl attended the Dolce &amp, Gabbana show. The 76-year-old actress ignored the crowd’s claps and screams as she took to the stage to take her seat.

In 2006, The Devil Wears Prada was released. Starring Anne Hathaway as Andi, a reluctant assistant to the editor at fictional fashion magazine Runway, the film explored the dynamics between a young woman and her nightmare boss. Meryl played the boss in question – Miranda Priestly, whose treatment of her assistants is borderline abusive.

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s bestseller of the same name, the movie was based. The Devil Wears Prada 2, which will be released in 2026, is based on Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns, another of Lauren’s books.

Ten years after the events of the first book, Andi and Miranda reunite in the second book, with Andi now working as the bridal magazine’s editor and planning her own wedding.

Meryl, Stanley and Anne have all been confirmed to return for the sequel, as has Emily Blunt. Emily played Emily Charlton, Andi’s workplace rival and the other of Miranda’s two assistants who pushes herself to the limit to impress her boss.

According to some reports, Emily’s character may return to assist Miranda in a troubled magazine. Fans are expecting Miranda to have trouble with several issues as she tries to stay afloat in a printed magazine in the digital era, and they will approach Emily for assistance because she is currently thought to be an executive at a luxury clothing company.

Although the journalist has unwaveringly refuted the theory that Emily Charlton is based on former Vogue cover girl Victoria “Plum” Sykes.

Fact check: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech at the UNGA

Despite the condemnation from the international community, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the UN General Assembly saying that he saw no way out for the conflict in Gaza.

Netanyahu also refuted a UN commission’s conclusion that Israel had carried out a genocide in Gaza, blaming the forced displacement of civilians as a defeat.

Here is a summary of some of his most important assertions that has been verified.

Netanyahu’s assertions regarding Gaza

Claim: The war could come to an end “right now” if Hamas accepts Israel’s demands.

Fact check: Israel has obstructed numerous attempts to end the conflict in Gaza with the support of its full political and military support.

The families of the captives in Gaza and thousands of Israelis who protested called for the end of the war and the release of all captives have repeatedly criticized Netanyahu and his government.

Israel tore a ceasefire agreement with Hamas on March 18 by killing more than 400 Palestinians and initiating a month-long total blockade that caused famine in the region.

Israel claimed once more to have accepted a ceasefire proposal earlier this month, only to bomb Qatar as a failed attempt to oust Hamas’ entire political leadership and stifle any progress toward negotiations.

Claim: In Gaza, Israel is making every effort to minimize casualties to civilians.

Fact check: A secret Israeli database clearly revealed that 83 percent of the people Israel was killing in Gaza were civilians, contrary to Netanyahu’s claim that the ratio of non-combatant to combatant casualties in Gaza is “less than two to one.”

Of the 8, 900 names of Hamas fighters listed in the database, several were listed as “probably” killed, according to an investigation conducted by + 972 magazine Local Call and The Guardian, which indicates that the percentage of civilians killed may be even higher.

Claim: By using people as Hamas’s human shields, Hamas is putting lives at risk in Gaza.

Fact check: Netanyahu’s claim that “Hamas implants itself in mosques, schools, hospitals, apartment buildings and attempts to force these civilians not to leave, stay in harm’s way” was repeated as a justification Israel has frequently used to bomb places where civilians have a shelter repeated.

This includes all the necessary infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, ambulances, mosques, water sources, power stations, and other types of buildings.

Hamas and other fighters have not yet provided any proof that they are attempting to use civilian facilities as alleged “military command and control centers.”

Claim: A nation that commits genocide would not plead with citizens to leave its bombs.

Netanyahu asserts that the international community’s claims that a genocide is occurring in Gaza are being refuted by issuing forced evacuation orders, which give families little time to pack up their lives and flee or risk losing their lives.

Israel has been implicated in genocidal acts in Gaza, according to the International Court of Justice, an independent international UN commission of inquiry, the International Association of Genocide Scholars, numerous international human rights organizations, including the Israeli group B’Tselem and Amnesty International, and a number of nations.

Israel has also been systematically stifling aid, according to the UN and a number of international organizations and physicians operating on the ground in Gaza.

Claim: Hamas is stealing Palestinians’ aid, not Israel, but Hamas.

Fact check: According to several reports, Hamas is not robbing Gaza of its meager aid. Israel’s own army provided one report, and USAID, the US’s foreign aid agency, provided another.

Israel has placed full blockades on all aid entering the Strip at various times, most recently in March and May of this year.

The so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is a distributor of aid, with only four locations for the two million people in the entire Gaza Strip, according to a statement made in May.

More than 1, 000 people have died there as a result of attempts to secure food aid for their starving families, and the GHF relies on armed guards and Israeli soldiers to “secure” its premises.

On the other hand, Netanyahu has made it clear that his administration supports a Palestinian militia in Gaza, which is frequently rumored to be looting aid trucks.

Netanyahu’s assertions about the area

Claim: Iran is rapidly developing a sizable nuclear weapons and ballistic missile program that are intended to annihilate Israel, avert US threats, and elude international cooperation.

Fact check Iran has consistently stated that its nuclear program, which it has been doing for more than 20 years, is for civilian purposes and that it is not seeking nuclear weapons.

Iran’s nuclear weapons are not currently in use, and the International Atomic Energy Agency claims there is no proof that it produces them, despite concerns raised about their efforts to enrich uranium.

This contrasts with the 90 or more nuclear warheads that Israel is alleged to possess, including the British parliament, according to numerous sources. According to the House of Commons Library, Israel is also thought to still be producing plutonium for use in weapons and may even have a triad for land, sea, and air delivery.

Iran’s nuclear program was severely restricted by the 2015 nuclear deal, which severely restricted Western belief in Tehran’s desire to build a bomb in the 2000s.

Iran has since gradually increased its nuclear enrichment, which is up to 60%, a technical advancement over the more than 90% required for a bomb, despite Trump’s unilateral withdrawal from the deal in 2018.

Claim: Israel has executed Iran’s top military figures and its top nuclear scientists.

Fact check: Despite Israeli efforts to kill numerous prominent military figures and nuclear scientists in Iran, Iranian authorities claim that removing them won’t prevent it from achieving its objectives.

Additionally, they claimed that some of the nation’s air defenses are still operational while others have been replaced or repaired. In response to Israel’s attack, Iran has also threatened to launch additional retaliatory strikes.

Claim: Israel has halted Shia militias in Iraq, disarmed former Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, and harmed the Houthis, Hamas, and Hezbollah’s leaders.

Fact check: The Israeli military has repeatedly attacked Yemen, including one of its biggest strikes on Thursday against Sanaa, the country’s capital, allegedly killing the Houthi prime minister and other cabinet leaders, including the Houthi prime minister.

In contrast to the Israeli-led war against Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, it does not appear to have ended Houthi military control.

Hezbollah’s top political and military leaders, including Hassan Nasrallah’s long-time secretary-general, have been killed by Israel, but the Lebanese organization is still defiant and vows to fight Israel on a continuing basis.

Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh, two senior Hamas political figures who were killed by Israel both inside and outside Gaza. Hamas is recruiting more fighters and continues to launch attacks against the Israeli ground forces in Gaza despite his weakening.

Venezuela Fury beams with joy as she celebrates with family after getting engaged at 16

Venezuela and her boyfriend Noah tied the knot just days after becoming Instagram users. Noah wore a red polo top, a white sparkly crop top, and a matching skirt in the video. Before he hands her a ring box, the two of them giggled together on the dance floor.

Venezuela was captured in brand-new photos that were shared online as she embraced her new engagement ring on Saturday during a weekend family trip to Morecombe.

She noticed the photographer and donned her engagement ring while she was in the backseat of her mother’s car. While Paris pushed one-year-old Rico in a pram, the Fury family, including Athena and Valencia, went out for lunch.

When Paris, who wed Tyson at the age of 19, wed, she recorded a video on her Instagram account with the caption “Congratulations to @venezuelafuryofficial and @7noahprice on getting engaged.”

Congratulations! She will develop into a wonderful wife and mother like her own mother in accordance with traveller customs. I adore Paris’ full devotion to her family. X “

Others expressed disappointment over Venezuela’s big decision at such a young age, while another continued, “Congrats.” She appears to be much older than a 16-year-old, and one person claimed that they must mature so quickly.

They have not even spent a week living together before getting engaged at that age. They are still kids dressed up like adults, which is not at all what I would want for my daughter.
