A retail worker looks so much like Sabrina Carpenter that she’s bombarded on nights out by punters who are desperate for selfies and to buy her drinks.

Olivia Fano, 20, from Southport, has been turning heads thanks to her uncanny resemblance to the Espresso singer, with starstruck men in awe of her looks.

Olivia admits that being compared to the pint-sized singer is an ‘amazing’ compliment and has led to a surge in male attention over the past year. It comes as Bonnie Blue sends Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kaye a cryptic message as he takes on his next Ibiza mission.

Despite currently being single, Olivia insists her vintage-inspired hairstyle and make-up were part of her look long before Sabrina made her big break.

“I do see the resemblance, I noticed it two years ago and my sister mentioned it, and I thought ‘I kind of do look like her,'” Olivia said.

“Since then it’s been constant, especially over the last year. I’ve had it in club bathrooms, supermarkets, coffee shops, pretty much everywhere.

“People automatically think I did the hair to look like her, but I’ve had this hairstyle for years. I think that’s the first thing people notice. We have quite similar facial features, the eyes, the eyebrows, the nose, and the way I do my makeup. I do a blush lip-liner look,” Olivia added, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Her likeness to the performer certainly doesn’t go unnoticed on nights out, with eager blokes buying her drinks and begging for selfies.

Olivia said: “I was at a club in Manchester and this boy really thought I was her. He kept buying me drinks and was telling everyone so then everyone else started buying me drinks. I had to give some of the drinks to my friends because it was too much.

“When I was in Prague this guy turned around and gasped really loud because he thought I was her. I was in this yellow babydoll dress so it was very her style.

“I get a lot of people stop me in the street, just to say ‘oh my God’. I do notice people looking at me and then they have to explain themselves.

“I’ve had quite a few people ask me for photos, when I went to Leeds last year I got a lot of photos then. I don’t mind it, it’s an amazing compliment.”

The striking similarity to Sabrina has given Olivia’s self-esteem a massive boost and even transformed her love life. Olivia said: “It’s the first thing [men] bring up. It’s almost like the perfect pick-up line, because they just come up and say it.

“A lot more boys have asked me out in the last year and when I go on dates it’s the first thing they say. I did date a guy and one of the first things he said to me was, ‘has anyone told you look like Sabrina Carpenter?’.”

The I’m Like A Bird singer took to the stage at Boardmasters Festival in a quirky and colourful outfit as she performed some of her biggest hits

Pop icon Nelly Furtado wowed audiences with a quirky choice of outfit at the Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall on Saturday. The 47-year-old made sure all eyes were on her as she stunned in a pair of high-waisted green ruffled hotpants.

She paired it with a matching green wrap-around top and some giant furry sleeves as she sang some of her greatest hits including Maneater and I’m Like A Bird.

Nelly wore a pair of white boots with a chain detailing and accessorised with some tinted green sunglasses and silver earrings, necklace and bracelets. The performer was all smiles as she interacted with her fans in the audience. It comes after an exciting heatwave forecast with maps revealing the exact date a 39C heat plume will scorch the UK.

The singer is just one of the big-name acts performing at the sunny three-day festival, with several other huge names performing, including Raye, Leigh-Anne, Kaiser Chiefs, Krept and Kronan and The Prodigy.

The Canadian songwriter’s colourful appearance comes after she revealed last year that her skin was often lightened in magazine photoshoots.

Nelly, whose parents immigrated from Portugal, told People: “”I have olive skin, and they’d kind of lighten my skin a lot in photos and kind of take my hips down all the time they would always cut off in editorials.”

She also mentioned that there was a “lot of airbrushing” during her peak fame years. This isn’t the first time she opened up about the worrying trend as her 2003 song Powerless had lyrics that stated: “Paint my face in your magazines, Make it look whiter than it seems, Paint me over with your dreams, Shove away my ethnicity.”

Reflecting on her experience, she continued: “”By my second album, I guess I was kind of angry about it.”

Despite these challenges, Nelly said she felt “so lucky and blessed” and had a good team around her who were looking out for her best interests.

She’s one of the most successful Canadian artists, having sold over 45 million records, including 35 million in album sales worldwide. Nelly first shot to fame when she released her trip hop inspired debut album, Whoa, Nelly! In 2000.

Her debut project was both a critical and commercial success, with two singles hitting the Billboard Top 100, namely I’m Like A Bird and Turn Off The Lights.

She released her second album, Folklore, in 2003 and this time around, she experimented with and explored her Portuguese heritage.

Nascar driver breaks collarbone celebrating win

Nascar Xfinity points leader Connor Zilisch has broken his collarbone after falling from his car while celebrating a win.

Zilisch, 19, had won his sixth race of the season in Nascar’s second tier at Watkins Glen and was climbing on to the roof of his car to celebrate.

He appeared to slip on the window net of his Chevrolet and fell on to the concrete in Victory Lane.

He was taken to the circuit’s care centre where he was described as “awake and alert”.

Zilisch is widely considered to be a future star of the sport and is expected to secure a full-time drive in Nascar’s top tier, the Cup Series, in 2026.

He has dominated in his rookie year in Xfinity, and won at Watkins Glen, New York, after emerging unscathed from a dramatic 16-car crash in the closing stages.

Zilisch was forced to miss a race after injuring his back in a crash at Talladega in June but bounced back in style and his win on Saturday was his fifth victory in eight races.

No timeline has been put on his return by Zilisch or his JR Motorsports team, which is run by former driver Dale Earnhardt Jr, but the Xfinity Series championship play-offs begin at Portland on 31 August.

Bonnie Blue sends Ibiza Final Boss cryptic Instagram message after girlfriend bombshell

‘Ibiza Bob’ Jack Kaye has flown back to the White Isle for more partying, and it seems his viral lifestyle has caught the attention of controversial adult star Bonnie Blue

Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kaye has flown back over to Ibiza with his pals – on a private jet, no less – and now he’s attracted the attention of controversial adult star Bonnie Blue.

The 26-year-old raver, from Newcastle, skyrocketed to internet stardom last week when his Lego-style haircut went viral. Since then he’s become a household meme with millions of views, announced his own tour and swapped easyJet for a private plane. He flew back to his homeland briefly to get a fresh trim, only to head straight back to the White Isle.

The heavily tattooed lad posted a new update for his fans yesterday as he touched down in Ibiza. Driving a Mercedes G-wagon with his signature shades and Turkey Teeth smile, Jack’s pal filmed him fist pumping the air to the music with one hand on the wheel, gold chain in tow. It comes after ‘Ibiza Bob’ reunited with his barber after his iconic bowl cut went viral.

Jack, also known as ‘Ibiza Bob’, wrote a cryptic caption, telling fans: “The final boss can’t be slayed… your misses on the other hand? Her levels been completed”.

And it seems Bonnie Blue, notorious for her rage-bait tactics and visiting party hot spots to find men to sleep with and film for her work – including ‘barely legal’ teens – is desperately trying to get his attention.

The sex star, who sparked outrage and concern over her extreme sex stunts that experts warn glorify rape culture – has replied to Jack’s post with a simple eyes emoji – often used as a lewd and suggestive icon. Jack’s fans have flooded the comments warning him to ‘stay away’ from the star.

Bonnie has been banned from adult platform OnlyFans after planning a ‘petting zoo stunt’ which would have seen her “tied down” in a glass box in a house in London, where strangers would come and do “whatever they wanted”.

She bragged in a recent Channel 4 documentary: “I am going to be completely helpless, tied down, gagged, choked”. She faced outrage from critics who claim the ‘event’ glorifies rape culture and perpetuates dangerous myths around sex.

Bonnie’s bizarre interaction with Jack comes after reports that there’s trouble in paradise for Jack and his glamorous girlfriend, who reportedly dumped him on his first Ibiza trip, just days before he went viral. He is said to be battling to save his relationship with Alisha Cook, a model and debt collector from Co Durham..

Alisha was allegedly so furious with her boyfriend partying in Ibiza that she broke up with him before videos of his haircut made him go viral. The pair have reportedly patched things up since, but a pal of Jack’s warned he was ‘skating on thin ice’ over his party lifestyle.

They told the Daily Mail: “Alisha called it off when Jack went to Ibiza with the lads. They’d been together for almost a year and he was living at her place but things hadn’t been right for months.

“His car is still on her drive, she threw all his clothes in the back of it. She doesn’t want him around anymore. She’s had inklings that something was not right for a while. She just wants to wash her hands of him. Alisha is so beautiful. No one is quite sure what she saw in him.”

It seems as though Alisha had a change of heart, however, as she’s publicly declared herself as Jack’s girlfriend since he rose to internet stardom.

In a series of TikTok videos captioned: “POV: ya boyfriend’s now known as Ibiza Final Boss,” Alisha is seen cosying up to Jack, including clips of him kissing her cheek and the two of them partying together.

The video has since been made private, but fans had plenty to say in the comments, with one person joking: “At least you know he didn’t cheat — he’s been filmed from every angle on TikTok just having a ball.”

Two boxers die from brain injuries in separate bouts in Japan

Two Japanese boxers have died from brain injuries sustained in separate bouts on the same card at Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall.

Shigetoshi Kotari, 28, collapsed shortly after completing a 12-round draw against Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) junior lightweight champion Yamato Hata on August 2.

He underwent emergency brain surgery for a subdural haematoma – a condition in which blood collects between the brain and skull – but died on Friday.

“Rest in peace, Shigetoshi Kotari,” the World Boxing Organization (WBO) wrote on social media. “The boxing world mourns the tragic passing of Japanese fighter Shigetoshi Kotari, who succumbed to injuries sustained during his August 2nd title fight.

“A warrior in the ring. A fighter in spirit. Gone too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, team, and the entire Japanese boxing community.”

On Saturday, 28-year-old Hiromasa Urakawa died after suffering the same injury during a knockout loss to Yoji Saito. He had undergone a craniotomy in an attempt to save his life.

“This heartbreaking news comes just days after the passing of Shigetoshi Kotari, who died from injuries suffered in his fight on the same card,” the WBO said in another social media post on Saturday. “We extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and the Japanese boxing community during this incredibly difficult time.”

In response, the Japanese Boxing Commission announced all OPBF title bouts will now be reduced from 12 rounds to 10.

Earlier this year, Irish boxer John Cooney died a week after being taken into intensive care following his Celtic super-featherweight title defeat to Nathan Howells in Belfast.
