A controversial move by Donald Trump has left a major royal’s future in the US hanging in the balance. The US president’s administration has revoked Harvard University’s ability to enrol international students in its escalating battle with the Ivy League school. It says thousands of students must transfer to other schools or leave the country.

The Department of Homeland Security announced the action, accusing Harvard of creating an unsafe campus environment by allowing “anti-American, pro-terrorist agitators” to assault Jewish students on campus. It also accused Harvard of co-ordinating with the Chinese Communist Party, contending the school had hosted and trained members of a Chinese paramilitary group as recently as 2024.

The situation may have an impact on Princess Elisabeth, the Belgian heir to the throne, despite a judge’s temporary restraining order to halt the ban. The future Queen may get caught up in the immigration ban that applies to foreign students, but she has been attending Harvard for two years and is planning to return.

Xavier Baert, the Belgian Royal Palace’s director of communications, stated: “We are looking into the situation to see what kind of effect this decision might have on the princess, or not. Right now, it’s too early to say.

According to Mr. Baert, Princess Elisabeth, 23, has finished her first year of a Harvard graduate school program and will spend the summer in Belgium.

The princess, who was born to King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, is pursuing a Master’s degree in public policy. When she ascends to the Belgian throne, the 23-year-old will become the country’s first Queen regent. When Belgium introduced absolute primogeniture in 1991, she is ahead of her brothers in the line of succession by having two brothers and a sister.

When King Albert II abdicated for health reasons, her father, King Phillipe, became king in 2013. She attended Welsh university known as “Hippie Hogwarts,” UWC Atlantic College.

The southern Welsh coast’s St. Donat Castle, a 12th-century structure with classrooms and a library, woodland, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and historic buildings for the campus.

Students are offered activities and subjects like Tai Chi, leadership and Tibetan literature alongside traditional classes. It was founded in 1962 by German educationalist Kurt Hahn, who also set up Gordonstoun boarding school in Scotland, where King Charles attended.

Elisabeth describes herself as a passionate sportswoman who enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and cooking and speaks several languages. She graduated from Oxford University’s Lincoln College last year before emigrating to America and majoring in history and politics.

Over the past year and a half, Harvard president Alan Garber stated in a statement that the institution has implemented numerous changes to its governance, including a comprehensive strategy to combat antisemitism.

He rebuffed concerns about retaliation that the university would not change its “core, legally-protected principles” Harvard as stated that it will respond to allegations that House Republicans first made about their cooperation with the Chinese Communist Party at a later time.

Provocative march by right-wing Israelis raises tensions in Jerusalem

In honor of Israel’s subsequent Six-Day War, thousands of right-wing Israelis have marched through occupied East Jerusalem.

They sung “death to Arabs” and anti-Islamic chants as they made their way through Palestinian neighborhoods.

Because the settlers regularly assault and harass Palestinians in the Muslim quarter, police were dispatched in advance.

In the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, right-wing Israelis also stormed UNRWA’s (UNRWA) headquarters.

As the Wolves forward prepares to make a £62.5 million move to Old Trafford, Matheus Cunha’s transfer to Manchester United is in a very advanced stage.

According to BBC Sport, United will be required to pay the entire price for the Brazilian attacker over the course of a two-year period in three installments.

A deal over the forward’s package is now a formality, according to sources who believe the two parties are coming close to reaching a total agreement on personal terms.

Wolves won’t be receiving a formal approach yet, but that will be expected in the near future.

By the time the 2026-27 campaign is over, well-placed sources have indicated that they will be required to pay the entire sum.

The final sum, which will be due in the summer of 2027, will be due at the end of the following season, along with the first £20.8 million that will be paid upon purchase.

Since joining Wolves from Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan in January 2023, Cunha has scored 33 goals for the club. He has made 92 appearances.

The 25-year-old almost certainly did his last game for Wolves against Brentford on Sunday, but he has since taken to social media to post a message to his fans.

It was the best season of my life, he wrote individually. All of this was only possible because I had such a strong heart for this club.

Along with Roberto Firmino and Gabriel Martinelli, I am the Brazilian who has scored the most goals in a Premier League season.

She passed away while I was surrounded by her. My mother and sister are right next to me. When she needed some comfort, I would sing her to sleep like I always did.

Even writing this out makes me cry. Thank you, Daisy, for supporting me through every milestone from my teenage years to my 20s and even 30s.

You still leapt and ran around like a young lamb at the age of 17. I can’t even express how much my little one will be missed. You helped me through a lot of difficult times as a child. Without your little fluffy self right there with me, I couldn’t have stayed in my own home.

My little bubs, you gave it a right turn. You and Nanny andamp, Granddad are playing in heaven right now, Megan continued.

She thanked Daisy for teaching her how to be a “good mum” to son Landon, saying, “Thankyou for teaching me how to be a mummy.” Because of you, your small meals, bathing, walkies, and cuddles, I’m a pro with Landon.

Daisy, you were the best. You were the first thing I wanted. You will always be dear to me. I’ll always be sorely missed you.

Although the birth was a “rollercoaster,” Megan and Oliver said they will definitely do it again after the birth.

Speaking about the couple’s plans to have more children, she told The Sun: “I have always wanted kids. Since I was young, I wanted to have a family and get married. I’m very family-oriented.

Going through the IVF stages is a real rollercoaster, but it’s the best decision we’ve ever made, and we’ve got another embryo on ice ready to go.

French Open 2025

Location: Roland Garros, May 25 – June

Emma Navarro, the ninth seed, was beaten by Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in the first-round 6-0 6-1 victory in just 57 minutes.

Navarro, who reached the semi-finals of the previous year’s US Open, did not play well on the second day in Paris.

With a winning record of 6-0 5-0, Bouzas Maneiro attempted to become the first woman to defeat a top-10 player with 6-0 6-0 at a Grand Slam since Martina Navratilova defeated world no. 7 Manuela Maleeva in the 1989 US Open.

With victory over Emiliana Arango at the Merida Open in Mexico earlier this year, Navarro won the Merida Open and became only the fifth player to do so in a century.

However, the American only won 44% of her first-serve points and only claimed 30 of the 86 total points.

Navarro was also hampered by only four winners, compared to 23 unforced errors.

Elena Rybakina, the former champion of Wimbledon, defeated Argentine qualifier Julia Riera 6-1, 4 , 6-4, to overcome a second-set slump.
