Love Island’s Harry Cooksley has shut down his critics on his first day back from Majorca. The footballer, who stepped into the ITV villa on day one and reached the finale, clinched second place alongside partner Shakira Khan, 22.

Now, the 30 year old reality television personality has turned to TikTok to offer followers an insight into his private world. In a vlog-style clip shared on 8 August, Harry chronicled his return journey from Spain, which kicked off at the break of dawn.

Upon arriving home, the sportsman headed straight to a supermarket he lovingly referenced throughout his villa stint. It comes after Paul Weller reveals the unusual reason he refuses to watch Oasis concerts.

“This whole experience has been wild and I’ve been wondering what life’s gonna be like after. It is gonna be so weird,” he reflects in the footage, reports the Daily Star. He continued: “I proved some of the doubters wrong, I headed straight to Aldi to pick up the essentials.”

Harry incorporated a brief moment from Love Island where he and Shakira contemplated their post-celebrity existence, with Shakira voicing concerns about managing everyday activities like popping to Aldi.

This touching conversation took place as the pair were rekindling their connection, after Harry’s original coupling with fellow day-one Islander Helena Ford. Despite his new-found fame, the Farnham Town player encountered no difficulties whilst browsing the aisles at Aldi.

In another segment of the now-viral clip, Harry discloses that he also dropped by to see his mum during his initial days back on home soil. “It’s been a bit odd being away from her these past few months. We’re thick as thieves, I see her every week, so it was a treat to catch up and dish the dirt on Island life,” he added.

The ITV heartthrob experienced quite the emotional journey on the reality dating show. He initially paired up with Shakira shortly after the series began, but their budding romance faced turbulence when his attention shifted to Helena.

Finding himself in a vexing love triangle, the 22 year old ultimately chose to sever ties with Harry, which resulted in him spending most of the season with Helena. Yet, in an unexpected twist, Shakira revealed she still had feelings for Harry. In a surprising turn of events, Harry and Shakira rekindled their flame just days before the final, securing the runner-up position with 26% of the public vote.

Earlier this week, Harry said he thinks he ‘handled things the wrong way’ when it comes to his infamous triangle on Love Island.

in their first joint interview as a couple, Harry has spoken out on his behaviour in the villa which saw him play Shakira and Helena against each other time and time again. He also sat back as Helena and Shakira took the triangle drama out on each other. Just days after the final, he has admitted that he hasn’t actually spoken to Helena but gave a positive update on the status of their relationship now that the show is over.

He told Christine Lampard on Friday’s edition of Lorraine: “I think I definitely handled things in the wrong way with Helena and Shakira. But at the end of the day, Helena and I are now moving forward as friends. I haven’t actually spoken to her since I’ve been out but we had a couple of conversations before she left the villa and I’m delighted it’s amicable.”

Christine then quizzed Shakira on how she felt during the whole situation, and she said: “Honestly it was heartbreaking and having to watch it pan out every day was so tough. I think in the outside world you can have a bit of distance, you can speak to each other. It was something I’d never experienced before.”

Elsewhere in the series, Harry had to deal with his ex-girlfriend Emma Munro arriving as a Bombshell during the Casa Amor portion of the competition and joked that he and the other boys had been hitting the gym every day in an attempt to impress the girls before all the drama unfolded.

Frankie Bridge shows off her incredible abs in bikini after cryptic post

Loose Women star Frankie Bridge looked sensational as she shared a series of bikini snaps from her family holiday in the Maldives after she posted a cryptic TikTok

Frankie showed off her abs in new snaps

Frankie Bridge has been turning heads with her toned abs in a series of snaps from her Maldives holiday, following a mysterious TikTok post.

The 36 year old Loose Women panellist took to Instagram on Friday to share some sizzling bikini photos from her family trip to the tropical paradise. Despite rumours of a feud sparked by her recent TikTok post, the devoted mum-of-two seemed unfazed as she flaunted her fit physique.

Frankie looked stunning as she showcased her well-toned body in a Triangle bikini, which she tagged in the photo carousel. The former pop star appeared tanned and joyful as she giggled during the beachside photoshoot. It comes after Katie Price reaches out to Harvey’s lookalike half-brother but fears ‘he’s too scared’.

Frankie didn’t reference who or what she was talking about in the TikTok

Currently, Frankie is soaking up the sun on holiday with her husband Wayne and their two sons – Parker and Carter. Taking to TikTok, the Loose Women panellist made a cryptic dig at an unknown person, seemingly suggesting she was holding a grudge. Over the video of herself holding and sipping on a glass of wine, she wrote: “You’re so quiet… Thanks, you said something five years ago and I’ve just realised you’re actually dead to me.”

In the caption on the actual post, she simply wrote: “Takes me a while, but once you’re dead you’re dead.”

She didn’t reference who or what she was talking about in the TikTok, which had the song What The Hell – sung by Avril Lavigne – over the top of the short clip. Frankie is currently in the Maldives with her husband and their two children – Parker, 11, and Carter, nine.

They took their trip to Siyam World in the Maldives alongside Wayne’s friend, football coach Luke Hampton, who was also celebrating his birthday, as well as Frankie’s friend, Leah Meredith, who works with her brand Faves.

As well as being a panellist on Loose Women, Frankie has been open about feeling like an “awful parent” due to hating her pregnancies. The former The Saturdays singer shares two children with her husband, Wayne Bridge, and admits pregnancy wasn’t “for her”.

In a candid admission early this year, the 36-year-old revealed that while she can’t see herself falling pregnant again any time soon, she doesn’t want her husband to have a v asectomy in case their marriage were to break down and he’d find love with another woman.

A vasectomy cuts or blocks the tube that carries sperm, preventing men from being able to have children. But while Wayne won’t be having “the snip” any time soon, the All Fired Up singer won’t be giving her sons, Parker, 11, Carter, nine, and Wayne’s son Jaydon, 18, from a previous relationship, any siblings.

“I always wanted more than two and then once I had one, I knew I wanted a second one,” she said. Frankie went on to explain that she “hated” being pregnant. She explained that she was always feelings sick and put on weight, meaning she no longer “felt like herself.”

In a candid admission, she stated it was a “means to an end,” saying she got a lovely baby at the end. Throughout her pregnancies, Frankie suffered from Hyperemesis gravidarum. The condition has symptoms including bad nausea and vomiting, which can happen multiple times per day.

While most vomiting in pregnancy stops around weeks 12 to 20, it can continue for other women. Speaking to The Sun, Frankie continued: “It’s constant sickness, you feel that you’re supposed to be giving your baby all these nutrients, but you literally can’t eat.

“I already had a two-year-old at the time, so I felt like I was an awful parent. I couldn’t bear the smell of another human — it would make me sick.” Frankie and Wayne tied the knot in 2014, and in recent years, she has slammed the “double standards” she has faced from cruel online bullies.

She explained that while she is often trolled for working away or taking time away, Wayne never receives messages for doing the same thing. Wayne encouraged her to take a holiday with friends after she suffered a series of illnesses which became difficult to “ignore,” meaning her “mental health plummeted”.

Jeremy Clarkson reveals ‘disastrous’ setback on Diddly Squat after crop fail

Jeremy Clarkson’s farm has been hit with a series of unfortunate events in recent weeks. The former Top Gear star tweeted about his recent ‘catastrophic’ set back

Jeremy Clarkson shared an update on the realities of having a farm as he discussed his ‘catastrophic’ crop failure. The former Top Gear host, 65, said this year’s harvest will be disastrous in a tweet shared on X/Twitter this week.

“It looks like this year’s harvest will be catastrophic,” he said. “That should be a worry for anyone who eats food. If a disaster on this scale had befallen any other industry, there would be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth.” One fan asked whether his Diddly Squat farm would survive “if it wasn’t supported by other adjacent businesses like the pub and shop?”

He answered: “Not a cat in hell’s chance.” One person said: “Sounds like it’ll be a good year ahead for Vegans. They eat imported Soy,” and Jeremy answered: “Er no. It’s the crops that have been disastrous. I planted 400,000 beetroot. Two grew.” It comes after Top Gear host admitted he ‘never got along’ with Jeremy Clarkson as he made a bold statement.

Another fan told him that ‘drama is good’, and Jeremy was quick to say: “Yes. But most farms don’t have TV shows to keep them going.”

The Clarkson’s Farm star said some ‘normal weather’ would help with his crops as “it never stopped raining in 2024 and never started in 2025.”

His crop disaster was just another problem he had to deal with in recent weeks. He previously revealed his 1000-acre farm in Oxfordshire had been hit with an outbreak of Bovine Tuberculosis. “Bad news from Diddly Squat. We’ve gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated,” he said at the time.

To add to the woes, one of the new puppies that his dog Arya gave birth to passed away last week. However, there was a silver lining as the official Instagram page for Jeremy Clarkson’s pub, The Farmer’s Dog, recently delivered some positive news.

The team announced on social media: “Good news! The weather forecast for the weekend is looking strong – so we’ve put extra bookings on the decking! Hurry!”

The announcement has led to a flurry of activity from fans eager to secure a booking at the popular pub. One person responded to the post: “I’ve been trying to book for this weekend since July 1st.” Another fan commented: “Booked table for Sunday roast.” A third person echoed their sentiments, saying: “Can’t wait to be back soon.”

Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime.

The Hundred women’s competition, Sophia Gardens

London Spirit 124 (99 balls): Knott 47 (33); Davies 3-16, Levick 3-26

Welsh Fire 122-5 (100 balls): Dunkley 36 (29); Harris 1-4

Spirit won by two runs

London Spirit edged past Welsh Fire in a rematch of the 2024 final as they claimed a thrilling two-run win off the last ball at Sophia Gardens.

With seven needed from the last five balls and three from the final ball in Fire’s pursuit of 125, Australia’s Grace Harris held her nerve as Georgia Elwiss was brilliantly caught by Spirit skipper Charlie Dean at mid-off.

Fire had been in control of their chase at 101-2, with England opener Sophia Dunkley striking 36 and Australia’s Jess Jonassen making 29.

But Dunkley’s dismissal with 19 balls remaining gifted Spirit momentum and Fire stuttered, with Dean’s gamble with part-timer Harris to close out the game proving to be a masterstroke.

It was the second women’s match of the day to be won by two runs off the final ball, with Manchester Originals earlier hanging on to beat Oval Invincibles by the same margin.

Spirit remain unbeaten after two matches as they look to defend their title, while it is a morale-sapping defeat for Fire as they remain winless.

Fire’s bowlers started brilliantly as Spirit slipped to 85-7 after choosing to bat, but Australia all-rounder Charli Knott added a crucial 47 from 33 balls as they pushed on to 124 all out.

Kira Chathli and Georgia Redmayne added 34 for the first wicket before Fire leg-spinner Katie Levick took two wickets in two balls amid a collapse of four wickets for just one run.

The Hundred women’s competition, The Kia Oval

Manchester Originals 139-6 (100 balls): Mooney 70 (45); Kapp 2-22

Oval Invincibles 137-3 (100 balls): Lanning 56 (42); Ecclestone 1-18

Originals won by two runs

In the earlier women’s game on Saturday at The Kia Oval, Manchester Originals also held their nerve to claim a dramatic win by the same margin over Oval Invincibles.

Having set the Invincibles 140 to win, with captain Beth Mooney hitting a fine 70 from 45 balls, the Originals took just three wickets but maintained their discipline as the match went down to the last ball.

The game swung one way then the other in the closing stages, culminating in the Invincibles needing four to win off the final ball.

But Originals all-rounder Deandra Dottin nailed her yorker and Marizanne Kapp could only dig it out for a single.

Former Australia captain Meg Lanning led the way in the chase and when she was dropped on 52, with the ball going for four after slipping through Fi Morris’ grasp, it looked like being the Invincibles’ day.

However, she was caught in the deep next delivery and, despite Paige Scholfield thumping Dottin for six to leave the hosts needing five from two balls, the Invincibles fell to a second loss in two games.

What is happening on Sunday?

It’s another four-game day on Sunday with double-headers in Southampton and Nottingham.

It starts at the Ageas Bowl with Southern Brave against Birmingham Phoenix (11:00/14:30 BST) before Trent Rockets face Northern Superchargers (14:30/ 18:00 BST) at Trent Bridge.
