Katie Price and Peter Andre’s ugliest TV row that broke marriage as Princess’ show debuts

Katie Price and Peter Andre’s non-stop bickering was always dismissed as a bit of harmless ‘banter’ by the couple

Katie Price and Peter Andre’s non-stop bickering was always dismissed as harmless banter by the duo.

But their final TV spat – caught by cameras filming Katie and Peter: Stateside – was far more than just a petty lovers’ quarrel. Explosive scenes airing on ITV2 in 2012 showed the couple embroiled in an ugly and bitter row that signalled the end of their three-year marriage.

In shocking scenes, Peter is heard calling then wife Katie a ‘talentless diva’ and a ‘miserable and arrogant cow’ while Katie fires back by calling him being a washed-up singer, before raging: “I can’t stand you.”

Both Katie and Peter said later that filming in Los Angeles signalled the end of their marriage.

From battling to see who was more famous in the US to launching a tirade of insults at each other, the fight, shown on episode 4 of the series, was for many the moment fans also knew Katie and Peter were over.

Transcript of the bitter row:

Katie: When someone knows who you are and you come into a shop and you’re blatantly lying, you look a t***.

Peter: Really? Shhh Kate, zip it. [To assistant] So, have you heard of Kate?

Assistant: I’m not sure.

Peter: [To Katie] How do you feel now? How do YOU feel?

Katie: You’re a f****** knob, I can’t stand you.

Peter: Ahh, did I hurt your feelings? Did he not know who you were?

Katie: Oh, as if I’m bothered. No one knows who you are, you’re an old f****** singer no one knows about.

Peter: You’ve got a real attitude problem.

Katie: Get over it Pete. I want to go home.

Peter: I’m so glad you guys are here to film this…

Katie: I’m so glad too so you know what a k**b you are.

Peter: You can see what kind of a stupid, miserable, arrogant cow she is.

Katie: Arrogant, what ’cos I’m talking to someone genuinely and you’re sitting there f****** lying? I can’t stand liars.

Peter: Really? You’ve got f****** issues. I can’t wait for you to watch this back and see how miserable you are.

Peter tells Katie she always wants her own way.

Katie: I’m the one making money Pete, so course I can have it how I want.

Peter: What, don’t I make money?

Katie: I don’t know, do you? Hurts, doesn’t it?

Peter: You know what? You really, seriously, seriously are a psycho. I hope you are f****** proud of yourself.

Peter ends the argument by calling Katie a ‘stuck-up diva’ moments after their manager Claire stepped in to break it up.

It was a sad end to the couple who had captivated the nation when they met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Met Out of Here! in 2004. They tied the knot a year later and went on to welcome two children.

The early years of their romance was captured almost continuously by documentary cameras – with their daughter Princess now following suit and landing her own reality show.

The drama has started before the show has even aired with Katie’s mum accusing Peter and Princess of blacklisting her from the show.

The mum-of-five had insisted she was banned from her daughter’s 18th birthday party and that her former management team – who look after ex-husband Peter and Princess – did not want her on the show as they considered her “trash”.

Speaking on her podcast, Katie claimed: “Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for ‘filming’.”

Wednesday star Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrates massive milestone with Michael Douglas, 80

Catherine Zeta Jones talks about her return as Gothic matriarch Morticia in the second season of Netflix hit Wednesday and a very special milestone with husband Michael Douglas

Catherine Zeta-Jones is back as macabre matriarch Morticia Addams in the second series of Netflix hit Wednesday . Here, she talks about her role in the ghoulish comedy-drama, and opens up about another very important date in her calendar.

This November, Welsh actress Catherine and her husband, fellow actor Michael Douglas, 80, celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.

The 55-year-old, who has son Dylan, 25, and daughter Carys, 22, with Michael, reveals that playing Morticia again gave her the chance to dance and do a spot of sword fighting, and she tells us about working with Lady Gaga and the show’s lead star Jenna Ortega. It comes after Mel B’s ‘spiritual’ Moroccan wedding with non traditional dress.

How does it feel to be back as Morticia Addams?

It feels great. Tim Burton [the show’s executive producer] and our incredible writers have done such an amazing job with all of these characters. This is Wednesday’s story of course, but there is so much interwoven into this season with Morticia and Gomez and other characters. We all feel so humbly blessed to be part of this world.

What is it like to be part of such a huge show?

It’s the best. I was saying to Luis [Guzmán, who plays Gomez Addams] how our grandkids are going to remember us for Wednesday probably above everything else we have done. It’s a phenomenon. It’s become more than just a show.

Jenna Ortega plays your daughter in Wednesday . How much do you enjoy working with her?

Jenna is incredible. She runs the show. I cannot say enough about her as a young woman, as an actor, and now also as one of the producers of this second season. She’s just so impressive. I love working with her.

You also had Lady Gaga join the cast this season. How was that?

I was totally starstruck by her! I never got to actually work with her but I met her and I was totally starstruck. I’m a huge fan. She’s amazing in the show. Everyone is going to love her even more than they already do.

Is the show as much fun to make as it is to watch?

Absolutely. We have so much fun. The whole cast and crew is like a family. Everyone is thrilled to be a part of something so magical. Everyone was so happy to be back for another season.

Do we get to learn more about Morticia this time?

We do. Our wonderful writers and Tim created a really beautiful storyline for Morticia this season. We get to find out more about her past. We meet her mother and we discover where Wednesday maybe got her defiance from and how it affects that mother-daughter relationship. I’m so happy that we get to discover who Morticia really is beyond this iconic character that we’ve come to recognise over the years. I got to have a lot of fun with Morticia this season.

You shot much of this season on location in Ireland. How was that?

I loved it. We built a whole studio there. The sets were incredible and the mysticism of Ireland really lent itself to what we needed to do. My ancestors came from Ireland and, being close to Wales, I felt very at home.

We get to see you sing, dance and sword fight this season. How much fun was that?

Oh, I loved it. First of all, the dance scene with Luis is just the best. We worked so hard rehearsing for that and, for me as a dancer, I was in my element. And then the sword fighting… Well, I had done sword fighting before for Zorro so I had a little advantage there.

This November marks your 25th wedding anniversary. How will you and Michael celebrate?

I think I’ll be shooting season three of Wednesday, but we will be celebrating. We’ll do something around the holidays. But 25 years is a big one. It’s a real milestone. We’re excited. I think we are going to be doing a party around the holidays because I will be shooting. We also have our birthdays, which we share [25 September], so it’s going to be pretty busy!

Katie Price accused of ‘last act of desperation’ hours before Princess Andre’s show

Katie Price has been accused of trying to steal the limelight back from daughter Princess Andre, as the teen launches her reality TV show tonight

Katie Price was devastated to be blacklisted from her daughter Princess’ reality TV show

Katie Price has been accused of one last act of ‘desperation’ as she posted a raunchy glamour model shot just hours before her daughter Princess makes her reality TV debut. The star’s oldest daughter follows in her mum’s footsteps with her own documentary style ITV series The Princess Diaries, but crucially omitted Katie from appearing.

After admitting bursting into tears when she found out she’d been ‘blacklisted’ from a show all about her teen daughter’s life, Katie insisted she would not be watching and would not be promoting the show.

However, hours before the show’s release, fans accused Katie of making a last ditch attempt to steal focus as she posed in an ultra revealing cut-out body suit. It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss.

In her latest snap, the 47-year-old was seen grabbing her hair back in the seductive shot which appeared to be a throwback to her ‘Jordan’ modelling heyday.

The shot, which was signed off with nothing but a black love heart, sent an immediate frenzy in the comment section.

“Why publish this the night before your daughters series due to start tomorrow….this smacks of desperation,” one fan complained.

“Please just stop… it’s your daughter’s time to shine, embarrassing her again!” eyerolled another.

However, other fans insisted Katie was still at the top of her game and wasn’t trying to outdo anybody. “She’s not suddenly trying to make herself famous,” fumed one.

Other fans accused Katie of posting an old photo for attention, as they accused her of digging through the archives to post something shocking ahead of Princess’ big day.

While others were thrilled with the display of Katie’s modelling prowess. “There’s only one Pricey,” insisted one. “I think you look incredible. Late 40s and still got it,” agreed another.

While a third told her: “You look beautiful Katie… ignore the haters.”

It comes after the Mirror exclusively unveiled a series of fresh claims about Katie’s ‘feud’ with Princess.

Insiders accused Katie of swerving a meet-up with Princess on her 18th birthday so she could carry on partying abroad instead.

The mum-of-five had insisted she was banned from her daughter’s 18th birthday party and that her former management team – who look after ex-husband Peter Andre and Princess – did not want her on the show as they considered her “trash”.

Speaking on her podcast, Katie claimed: “Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for ‘filming’.”

She added: “The fact is there’s stuff my daughter is doing and I’m not allowed to be seen at any of it.”

But insiders claimed her version of events was far from the truth.

They said the 18-year-old had arranged to see her mum on the morning of her birthday in June in London – but Katie failed to appear.

A source said: “It was all in the diary but then Katie claimed she couldn’t make it as she was abroad. It was disappointing.

“For Katie to then say she was banned from the afternoon’s filmed party when she was the no-show in the morning is just beyond belief.”

The former Celebrity Big Brother winner was later pictured partying in Ibiza, and then Dubai.

She also reportedly accidentally shared a happy birthday Instagram message to Princess – 36 hours before her daughter’s big day.

Insiders are perplexed by Katie’s attempts to “repeatedly insert herself into her daughter’s career”.

The model herself claimed: “I have not been allowed to go on any photoshoots, signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. I’m not welcome.”

Second boxer dies from brain injury after Tokyo event

Getty Images

A second Japanese boxer has died from a brain injury suffered at an event in Tokyo.

Hiromasa Urakawa, 28, died on Saturday after he was beaten via knockout in the eighth round of his fight with Yoji Saito on 2 August.

It follows the death of Shigetoshi Kotari on Friday from injuries sustained during a separate bout on the same card at Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall.

The World Boxing Organisation (WBO) said it “mourns the passing of Japanese boxer Hiromasa Urakawa, who tragically succumbed to injuries sustained during his fight against Yoji Saito”.

It added: “This heartbreaking news comes just days after the passing of Shigetoshi Kotari, who died from injuries suffered in his fight on the same card.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends and the Japanese boxing community during this incredibly difficult time.”

Following the event, the Japan Boxing Commission (JBC) announced all Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) title bouts will now be 10 rounds instead of 12.

Japanese media reports the JBC has launched an investigation and is planning to hold a meeting in September to discuss the deaths.

Urakawa is the third high-profile boxer to die in 2025 after Irishman John Cooney passed away in February following a fight in Belfast.
