Kelly Brook has candidly opened up on her past failed engagement with Jason Statham as she prepares to enter the I’m A Celebrity camp. The model, 45, and Hollywood icon, 58, were together between 1997 and 2004, but Kelly called time on their relationship after seven years.
And she has revealed to feeling “neglected” in the romance as Jason’s Hollywood career began to flourish. Despite her own career going from strength to strength at the time, Kelly claimed on a podcast recently that the star had began failing to show up for her.
Speaking on the How to Fail with Elizabeth Day podcast, Kelly confessed she had previously been a ‘people pleaser’ that didn’t put herself first. However, she explained that as she has got older, she has learned to be more ‘selfish’.

Speaking to the host, she said: “I have been in the past such a people pleaser and wanting to be friends with everyone and wanting to be there for everyone and not putting myself first. It hasn’t served me so unfortunately, as I get older, I’ve become more of a selfish b***h and I don’t really care anymore.”
It was then that the host asked her about her previous love life before her marriage to Jeremy Parisi in 2014 and how her attitude may have affected outcomes. “I think definitely in my first relationship there was definitely elements of co-dependency,” she said.
“There were elements of me putting my career and my life on hold. I had a really good job at MTV. I remember I was hosting a daily show there, and it was just after I’d got fired off The Big Breakfast and I got a really great show there and I was there for about a year and my boyfriend at the time was an actor.
“I remember he got offered a few roles in things, as like a bouncer on the door in EastEnders doing something and he had so much talent and charisma and I was like, ‘Do you know what? We just got to go to America. I just think it’s going to be the making of us if we just go'”.
However, she said this move, although helping Jason, saw her own career stagnate somewhat. She went on: “But I had this really good job and we had no money and I quit my job and we went and I was there as this support network for him and watched his career flourish, whereas mine floundered a bit because I didn’t have the same opportunities.”
She admitted such was the success and her support of it that she sometimes felt neglected to the point that she “fell out of love” with her then-fiancé. Explaining how she thought it was a tough but right decision, she says she told Jason he hadn’t been there for him when he questioned her reasoning.
“So it was just a really hard time, but I think that was the first time where I really did something for myself and it was the best decision,” Kelly added.
While Kelly has since married Jeremy, Jason went on to find love with Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in 2010. The pair are currently engaged and share two children, Jack, eight, and Isabella, three.

Sharon Osbourne has candidly opened up about her personal struggles in the wake of her husband Ozzy Osbourne death. The 73-year-old star was heartbroken when her beloved partner died in July at the age of 76, and she along with her children Jack and Kelly Osbourne have now launched the first instalment of their The Osbournes podcast in months.
The release comes more than a year after their last instalment and pays tribute to the late rock legend and discuss their own bereavement. The three of them recorded the episode seated around a large wooden table adorned with publications featuring the Black Sabbath star.
Sharon confessed: “I hate going to bed at night.” Kelly then said: “I mean, I slept with you for the first two months so that you weren’t on your own. But then I felt like you needed some space.

“I wake up and for the first three seconds I feel normal. And then I remember everything. Mornings are the hardest for me.
“What is the morning? Because it happened in the morning. And I used to spend most of my time with Dad in the morning.”
The 41-year-old mum-of-one admitted she hadn’t grasped just how “horrible” it would be to lose her cherished father. The star had been unwell for years prior to his death from a heart attack.
Speaking through tears, Kelly continued: “I never realised just how horrible grief is. I never knew I was capable of loving somebody so much and missing somebody so much. I just, I never thought there’d be a day where he wouldn’t be here.”
Sharon asked: “But then how blessed are you to have had a dad like him?” Kelly revealed that her dad would “hate” to see her in tears and confessed that she has found solace in her three year old son Sidney, who she shares with her rocker fiancé Sid Wilson.
She expressed: “I’m just so grateful that Sidney got to meet him. And that they had such a special little relationship. If it wasn’t for my baby boy..”
Dad-of-four Jack concurred: “Having the kids has been a huge help.” The TV star, 40, has managed to find some silver linings amidst his sorrow. He elaborated: “It is both horrible and beautiful in the way that it forces you to unpack and examine things.
“Like, yeah, it sucks that he’s gone, but also, for me, it has led to a huge amount of gratitude and love and like really cherishing moments that at the time you take for granted.”
Jack is currently Down Under preparing for a stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle. He has revealed his family are supportive of his decision, but admits he will miss them all.
Jack told us: “Mum and Kelly, yeah they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive.”

He explained how hard it will be not to talk to the pair or his wife and family. “It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind. I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure.”
If you’re one of the lucky ones who have got your hands on a ticket to see Lorde on her Ultrasound Tour, then you may want to listen up as one American fan has shared ‘seven things you should know’

Many Lorde fans are gearing up to see the songstress live this weekend or next week as she brings the Ultrasound Tour to the UK, and if you’re one of the lucky ones who have got your hands on a ticket, you may want to listen up. One American Lorde fan has taken to her TikTok account to share some insider information as she listed the ‘seven things you should know’ if you’re seeing the Royals singer live.
Lauren Schordock, known as @laurschor on the app, revealed she camped out overnight for nine hours at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, to make sure she was in the pit for the opening night of Lorde’s tour, so she certainly knows what she’s talking about.
Her first tip will therefore come as no surprise, as she revealed that people will camp overnight like herself. She said: “I personally arrived at 11:55am and was the 71st person in line, but the first group did have a little sleepover on the sidewalk from about midnight on.”
Lauren’s second piece of information to note was that there was no formal wristband system from the venue, however she said a fan did have a Sharpie and was writing numbers on their hands. “This allowed people to leave the line and sit in the shade,” she said.
However, Lauren said the place in the queue “didn’t matter” as she claimed the Moody Center decided to let people in the pit “from all doors”.
Third to note, according to Lauren, is that the merchandise stall opens at 4pm. “We headed over there to start a line around 3pm,” she said.
Lauren noted short-sleeved T-shirts were $50 (£38), long-sleeved T-shirts were $60 (£46) and sweatshirts were $125 (£95). She also said that merchandise was the same inside and outside and that she was “sad” that there was no venue-specific merchandise.
The fourth point Lauren made was that the venue doors were supposed to open at 6pm, but she said they got let in “a little after”.
While the fifth point was that the first opener played from 7pm-7:30pm, while the second opener played from 7:45pm-8:30pm. “They vary throughout the tour, so check to see who yours are,” she said.
Lauren’s sixth point was that the “famous water bottle” mysteriously appeared on-stage at 8:37pm before Lorde came on stage at 9pm.
Talking about the show, Lauren said: “Going to the opening night of the tour was an incredible experience, but the set list and the Lord-esque choreography made this a genuinely fulfilling night.”

Lauren’s seventh and last piece of information to note was that Lorde played 23 songs, including the entirety of Virgin and “plenty of the classics”.
She added: “The confetti was released right before If She Could See Me Now. No spoilers but what she did during Ribs was one of the best concert-going experiences I’ve ever had.
“Best of luck and excited for your lift to shift at the Ultrasound Tour.”
Those who are seeing Lorde in the UK should note that venue systems and timings may vary, as may the cost of merchandise.
What dates is Lorde playing in the UK?
As well as playing Manchester’s AI Arena on Saturday (Nov 15), she is also playing The O2 Arena in London on November 16 and 17, as well as Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on November 19, Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on November 20 and the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin on November 22.
Stephen Curry scored 46 points as the Golden State Warriors inflicted a first home NBA defeat of the season on the San Antonio Spurs.
The two-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) helped the Warriors end a six-game losing streak on the road with a 125-120 victory at Frost Bank Center in Texas.
Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle became the first Spurs players to record triple-doubles in the same game, but Curry scored 29 points in the second half as the Warriors outscored the Spurs 76-64.
“That third quarter is what we do – getting stops, pushing, creating easy offence. Thankfully I was able to knock a couple down,” Curry said.
Thunder thrash Lakers
Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 30 points, five rebounds and nine assists as defending champions the Oklahoma City Thunder thrashed the Los Angeles Lakers 121-92.
The Thunder led by 37 points at one stage, allowing Gilgeous-Alexander and other starters to sit out the fourth quarter at Paycom Center.
Five-time All-Star pick Luka Doncic managed 19 points and seven assists for the Lakers, before being subbed when the result was all but confirmed by the final quarter.
Thunder are top of the Western Conference with a 12-1 record.
Jokic downs Clippers
Nikola Jokic scored 55 points, including 25 in the first quarter, as the Denver Nuggets extended their winning run to six games with a 130-116 victory at the Los Angeles Clippers.
The three-time MVP also claimed 12 rebounds and six assists at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
It is the fourth time that Jokic has scored at least 50 points in a regular season game.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are tipped to tie the knot next year in what experts predict will be a day to ‘dwarf any celebrity nuptials we’ve seen before’

Taylor and Travis shared the happy moment with their millions of fans around the world(Image: taylorswift/Instagram)
With a summer engagement to NFL superstar Travis Kelce and an early Christmas gift to fans in the shape of a record-breaking new album, it’s been another remarkable year for Taylor Swift. “As we come to the end of 2025, Taylor seems to be in the best possible place – both professionally and personally,” says PR expert Lynn Carratt. “After riding the wave of her Eras Tour and releasing The LifeOfAShowgirl , settling down with Travis is definitely the icing on the cake.”
Previously famed for singing about heartbreak and lost love, things look very different for Taylor, 35, nowadays. “She has found an ultra-supportive partner in Travis, and really seems to be on top of the world,” says Annie Zaleski, author of Taylor Swift: The Stories BehindThe Songs . “Everything has fallen into place for her.” In August, Taylor and the Kansas City Chiefs ace caused a social media meltdown after announcing their engagement.

As the news spread like wildfire, Instagram struggled to keep up with the millions of likes generated by Taylor’s post. “The reaction was just incredible,” says Lynn, director of E20 Communications. “They knew by putting it on Instagram it would blow up, and it’s all everyone was talking about – even President Trump commented on it.”
Alongside beautiful photos of Travis, 36, proposing in the garden of his Missouri estate, the momentous announcement included Taylor’s now immortal words, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” It became the fastest post to ever reach a million Instagram reposts, achieving the milestone in six hours.
With the news coming hot on the heels of Taylor’s big reveal about her new album, The LifeOfAShowgirl , it brought double delight for the Swiftiverse. “The timing of both announcements, just two weeks apart, could not have been better,” says Lynn. “It was a genius strategic PR move, firstly getting fans excited about her new music, and then offering this rare glimpse into her personal life.”
Insiders believe the couple – affectionately nicknamed ‘Tayvis’ – could tie the knot as soon as next summer, with Lynn adding, “I’m sure it won’t be a very long engagement – I think they’ll want to get on with it.” Taylor’s Rhode Island mansion has been tipped as a potential venue, having its own private beachfront and over five acres of land. She has also hosted many parties at the New England property in the past.
While specific details will no doubt remain top-secret for the foreseeable future, the Swift-Kelce nuptials will undoubtedly become a global obsession. “It’s already been framed as the wedding to end all weddings,” adds Lynn. “It could dwarf any celebrity nuptials we’ve seen before – bigger than the Bezos wedding earlier this year. But this being Taylor and Travis, I’m sure it’ll all be extremely tasteful.”
The pair first got together in the summer of 2023, after Travis attended one of Taylor’s Eras shows and then revealed his crush on her on his and brother Jason’s New Heights podcast. He urged Taylor to “just meet me once, just give me a chance” and after agreeing, she later said, “Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.”
She also admitted, “I owe a lot to this podcast… This podcast got me a boyfriend.” Within weeks, Taylor was seen watching Travis at Chiefs matches, loyally wearing the team’s red jersey. Though some initially claimed the relationship was a publicity stunt between the biggest pop princess on the planet and the alpha-male athlete, that was far from the case.
“Travis is not the jock that some assumed him to be,” says Annie. “He has a sensitive side and often gets emotional when talking about Taylor. He’s thoughtful in interviews, and though it’s hard to be in the spotlight, he seems to have come into his own in a lovely way.”
Speaking on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason in August, Taylor opened up about the early days of their romance. She revealed how they got to know each other “in a way that’s very natural, very pure, very normal” and said Travis “could make me laugh so immediately about normal things”.
She also called him “a vibe booster” and likened him to a “human exclamation point”. Just as lovestruck, Travis said of their first meeting, “It was the easiest conversation I ever had, and it was so much fun that it knocked my socks off.”
In October 2023, the pair were seen holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty, and their status as America’s golden couple was firmly sealed in February 2024 when they shared a public kiss after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.
“Taylor moved mountains to get there for that game, flying in from Japan,” says Annie. “It showed how serious things were, because she knew how important the Super Bowl was to Travis. At the end, it was like the rest of the world fell away and it was just the two of them on the field. You could see how proud she was.”
As their relationship intensified, songs on Taylor’s 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department , were heavily influenced by Travis. So High School included the lyrics, “You knew what you wanted and, boy, you got her,” while The Alchemy had lines like, “We’ve been on a winning streak” and “Where’s the trophy? He just comes runnin’ over to me.”
Travis has been equally vocal about the impact Taylor has had on him, too. “She makes me so much better,” he has said. “I am the luckiest man in the world.”
When Taylor’s spectacular tour ended last December after taking in five continents, the pair were finally able to enjoy a little downtime. In June this year, Travis shared Instagram shots of them holidaying with friends, having dinner together and messing about in the snow.
“Had some adventures this offseason,” he captioned the post. But while Taylor was slowly floating back to earth following Eras , there was another distraction in the shape of The LifeOfAShowgirl .
Released on 3 October, she first announced the album on New Heights in August, with the episode shattering records in the process. It was YouTube ’s most-watched podcast premiere ever, while the album became the most pre-saved on Spotify’s Countdown Page in history, surpassing her previous record with The Tortured Poets Department.
“Taylor doesn’t just smash album sales, she disrupts every single medium and metric,” says Lynn. “She has the golden touch, and almost everything she touches breaks a record – often one that she’s previously set.”
The beloved crime drama first premiered on television in 2013 and is considered one of the best British TV shows of all time — and it’s finally coming to Netflix in just a few days

When it first hit our screens back in 2013 critics and fans alike couldn’t get enough of this crime drama.
Described as “simply a knockout” by one critic, Broadchurch was written and crafted by Chris Chibnall and aired on ITV across three series from 2013 to 2017. Now, the cherished British ‘whodunnit’ mystery is arriving on Netflix in just a few days.
Landing on the streaming platform on November 18, Broadchurch features David Tennant and Olivia Colman in leading roles as Detective Inspector Alec Hardy and Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller. Alongside them forming an impressive ensemble cast are Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Arthur Darvill, Carolyn Pickles, Jonathan Bailey, Matthew Gravelle, Charlotte Beaumont and Adam Wilson — all of whom featured throughout the programme’s three series.
Located in the imaginary English seaside town of Broadchurch on the Dorset coastline, the acclaimed series initially debuted in April 2013 and earned seven BAFTA nominations for its opening series alone. Colman secured the Best Actress BAFTA for her performance as Ellie, whilst David Bradley claimed the prize for Best Supporting Actor and the programme took home the prestigious Best Drama Series accolade. The show also claimed a Peabody Award for its inaugural series, reports the Express.
The British crime drama boasts a staggering average rating of 92 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes across its three seasons, earning widespread praise from both critics and audiences. One reviewer said: “It’s among the best detective shows – and perhaps even among the best dramas — in several years. It will break your heart and keep you guessing all the way through.”
Another critic, in a rave review of the debut series, wrote: “Broadchurch is based on a generic premise, but nothing feels stale. With depth and passion, Colman brings her character’s profound questioning to vibrant life.” A third reviewer commented on the series’ second season: “After the brilliant first season of Broadchurch came to a devastating conclusion, I didn’t think a second season was necessary. I was wrong.”

Praising both leading stars, one critic noted: “Most viewers will probably tune in to see Tennant in a dark and unfamiliar role, but as great as he is in the role, the real standout performance comes from Olivia Colman.” Viewer reviews were equally outstanding, with one fan writing: “Absolutely amazing. The story was absolutely thrilling and had me completely hooked the whole way through. All the actors were absolutely class, especially David Tennant and Olivia Coleman. This is a must watch.”
One viewer wrote a glowing review, saying: “Incredible cinematography. Compelling, emotional acting. Beautiful setting. The story and characters are so real that it’s impossible not to binge. I was enthralled for the entire season, even though the show has no gore, no shootouts, and none of the over the top sensational graphics that are so often seen in crime thrillers.” Meanwhile, another fan wrote: “An absolute revelation, it’s something I never quite expected. Broadchurch is deep, analytical, dark and… well, unforgettable. Loved it.”
