Freddie Flintoff is giving fans exclusive access into his life in a new documentary launching this month. Available to stream on Disney+, ‘Flintoff’ follows the former international cricketer and broadcaster as he recovers from injuries sustained in a car crash while filming Top Gear in 2022.

The feature-length documentary takes an “intimate and unprecedented” look at one of Britain’s most adored sportsmen and TV personalities, and is described as a story of “resilience.” Along with his wife Rachael, James Corden, and close friends like Michael Vaughan, James Corden, and Jack Whitehall, he also has exclusive access to Flintoff.

The movie also includes information about Flintoff’s life, including his triumphant entry into the English television industry after winning two Ashes series and making his public appearance after his tragic accident. Flintoff describes his seven-month “under the radar” existence that left him with both physical and mental scars in the documentary’s trailer.

Flintoff claims he recalls everything about the crash, which occurred at Surrey’s Top Gear testing facility in December 2022. A still image of Flintoff being cared for inside the car is also visible in the footage after the incident.
