David Beckham gushes over ‘boss’ Victoria after son Brooklyn skips family event

David Beckham gushed over his “boss” wife Victoria Beckham after she showcased her latest collection during Paris Fashion Week.

The former Spice Girl has built up a hugely successful fashion empire, and her eponymous brand is now a firm favourite amongst Hollywood A-listers. Victoria’s Fall/Winter 2025-2026 women’s ready-to-wear collection hit the runway on Friday evening at the Château de Bagatelle, and the 50-year-old looked chic as she arrived for the show, wearing an all-black outfit finished off with white stilettos.

Husband David was on the front row for his wife’s fashion show, alongside daughter Harper, 13, who looked stunning in a couture brown silk dress from her mum’s own collection. Romeo, 22, looked on proudly as he attended with girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 23, while Cruz Beckham, 20, was smitten with girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 28, on the front row. Missing from the family event was the couple’s eldest child Brooklyn Beckham, who had seemingly skipped the fashion show to promote his hot sauce brand Cloud23.

Former England and Manchester United icon David took to Instagram to share his love for his wife Victoria, and heaped praise on her work ethic and determination to follow her passion. “The BOSS”, he captioned a snap of Victoria looking stunning as she took to the runway after the fashion show. “We are so proud of you… Your passion and drive astound us every season and we will forever support you in your dreams… We Love you”.

He also included family snaps in the photo slideshow, with one of him goofing around with Harper, Romeo and Cruz. “Beautiful family”, one follower commented, as another agreed: “Royal family”. Others were happy to see Harper wearing her mother’s creations, with one fan suggesting she might even follow in Victoria’s footsteps. “I love how Harper can wear her mother’s fashions, so cute”!

Ahead of the show, the mother-of-four said her latest fashion collection, which featured chic tailoring, elegant evening dresses and even a silk bathrobe, was all about effortless glam. “This collection was really rooted in a reality, but always really considering every, single detail”, she told Elle. “It’s all about the execution. Making things look so effortless but everything is so considered”.

Will Nisbet land Scotland recall after Aberdeen march on in cup?

Given he was on the bench for his country as recently as last October, it might seem strange to consider Kevin Nisbet as Scotland’s forgotten man.

However, such was the anonymity of his spell at Millwall that, for many, the striker fell completely off the international radar.

Five goals in his last six games for Aberdeen, including a birthday strike on Saturday against Queen’s Park in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals have returned him to the conversation.

‘ The real Nisbet has turned up ‘

When the former Hibs striker arrived on loan at Pittodrie at the start of this season, looking to find the form that tempted Millwall to spend a reported £2m on him, it looked like a solid investment.

Nisbet scored a late winner against Ross County, before netting against Dundee two games later. It seemed the replacement for Bojan Miovski had been found.

However, there were only another five starts before the new year and just a single goal in that time. He might have hit the ground running, but that start soon stalled.

But Nisbet has been at the forefront of Aberdeen turning their fortunes around again, scoring five goals in his last six and looking more dangerous in the box.

His latest goal was one of his best in this hot run, putting Aberdeen ahead with an audacious backheel flick direct from a corner.

“The real Kevin Nisbet has turned up”, said former Pittodrie captain and manager Willie Miller on Sportsound. “That is just magnificent.

” He’s on the run, he’s beyond the near post and guides it into the top corner. That is a wonderful, wonderful goal. “

Could he start for Scotland?

With Lyndon Dykes set to miss out on the play-off games through injury, there is a place up for grabs in Clarke’s squad.

If he has to choose between Lawrence Shankland and Nisbet, the choice seems clear.

Shankland might be in the squad, but his form has nosedived this season and he remains on just four goals this campaign – with only one since Christmas.

Of course, there is also Che Adams who has scored seven in Serie A this year and found fitness, starting plenty of late.

But Nisbet’s recent form is making a compelling case.

” I saw in an interview recently he said he felt very fit, “McGinn said”. That’s a big part of his game.

“He’s a clever player, a natural goalscorer and, when he’s feeling good about himself, he’s capable of getting back into the Scotland squad”.

It would mark a superb comeback for the forward, but he insisted that it’s not on the forefront of his mind.

Have your say

What did you make of Nisbet’s performance? Is he getting back to his best?

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise’s adopted daughter made a rare public connection with her family this week.

Isabella ‘ Bella ‘ Kidman-Cruise, 32, dropped a like on a photo her Hollywood actress mum’s daughter Sunday Rose, 16, shared on Instagram. In the pic, Sunday Rose, whose dad is country star Keith Urban, poses in a new shoot for W Magazine.

In the accompanying article, the young catwalk hopeful reflects on her fashion debut at Miu Miu’s SS25 runway show last October, which came days after her sixteenth birthday. She said: “I always wanted to model, but my mom told me I couldn’t do it until I was 16. I just wanted to do it again when I got off the runway”!

The piece also points out that Sunday Rose is still studying at a high school in Tennessee where she particularly enjoys english lessons and extracurricular dance classes. She also hints that she hasn’t totally given up on following her mum to Hollywood – after studying psychology at top US college NYU.

Sunday Rose revealed that she would like to become a movie director, having been inspired by Greta Gerwig’s billion dollar blockbuster, Barbie.

Sunday Rose can ask for some arty advice from her big sister. Bella, who is now based in the UK, is a celebrated artist. She lives in Croydon with her husband Max who she wed in a Scientology ceremony in September 2015. Neither Nicole nor Tom were present at the wedding, sparking rumours they had become estranged from their eldest child.

Tom and Nicole were married for nearly eleven years, and they also adopted a son, Connor, now 30.

After their 2001 split, Nicole moved on with Keith and welcomed two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, 14. Tom also went on to have a child, and welcomed daughter Suri, now 18, with Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes.
