Clarins perfume that ‘smells far better than designer scents’ gets £10 price cut

Perfumes are definitely an investment, especially those from designer brands. So when there’s a fragrance out there that smells just as good, if not better than those designer scents, it’s well worth trying out, in our opinion. Clarins Eau des Jardins Treatment Fragrance is a good example of this.

This perfume is regarded as being more affordable and nicer than some high-end brands. To make it even better, the fragrance is currently reduced on Amazon to £33.60, down from £43.35 – a 22% price cut!

This fragrance is not like others, either. It’s actually a treatment fragrance that essentially combines the aromas of some plant extracts with their soothing and opulent properties. This treatment fragrance will work for everyone, so even if you have sensitive skin, it has been made for all skin types.

The main notes in the fragrance are citruses—think oranges and grapefruits. These are then combined with notes of mint, rose, bay leaves, and musk to create a fresh and aromatic scent.

This skincare (Clarins) fragrance by Clarins combines aroma and skincare.

Alongside those ingredients, the natural plant extracts used come from blackcurrant, beech, and sorbier, which help to leave your skin hydrated, soothed, and radiant after use.

And one reviewer has already rated the fragrance “my all-time favorite” and 5-star reviews. The best-value for money perfume, according to The Happy Satisfied, is “Favorite scent of all time and the best size.” It is fresh and delightful”.

A second reviewer praised the scent, saying, “I’ve never used this particular fragrance before, and wasn’t disappointed. It has a beautiful fresh lemon smell and reminded me of Miss Dior.”

However, a few people have expressed criticism that the fragrance’s longevity is inferior to other factors. One reviewer wrote, “Smells FANTASTIC. Although I don’t usually like perfume because they make me feel headache-free, this one completely altered my opinion. It doesnt last very long however, only 3-4h”. When making a purchase, you must keep this in mind.

If you’re looking for a similar citrus fragrance, L’Occitane’s Citrus Verbena Eau de Toilette, £60, is a fantastic alternative. As is Phlur’s Tangerine Boy, £90.

Marks & Spencer drops butter yellow blazer that rivals designer brands

Butter yellow was one of spring’s biggest colour trends last year, and it’s back again this time around. One brand getting in on the trend is Marks &amp, Spencer.

It’s no surprise that they recently dropped a gorgeous buttery yellow collarless blazer that looks designer because they have really stepped up their fashion game in recent years.

Brands like Jacquemus and Aligne have previously released pale yellow blazers, with Aligne’s collarless one going a long way among fashion girls last year. And M&amp, S ‘ one rivals those for a fraction of the price.

The M&amp, S Tailored Collarless Blazer, retails for £69 and features a flattering, streamlined silhouette that creates a stunning silhouette around the waist. The frequently androgynous tailoring trend is also enhanced by the collarless design. As we head into warmer temperatures (hopefully! Your workwear collection will be brightened by this creamy yellow hue.

A great addition to your workwear wardrobe (M&amp, S)

We believe that this piece of officewear will look fantastic when paired with some ballet flats and white pants. For formal, non-work-related events, this blazer can be styled down with a pair of straight-leg denim jeans or with a silky slip midi skirt.

Butter yellow is a flattering color because it is all over the place. We believe you should try this tone, even if you don’t like it.

We advise sizing up from your usual and, even if you sizing up two times from your usual if you want a more relaxed fit with this blazer because it runs small.

Abercrombie &amp, Fitch has a similar butter yellow collarless blazer, available for £90. And Reserved has a more Chanel-inspired cropped version with pearl button detailing, available to shop for £32.99.

Helen Flanagan cruelly mum-shamed as she enjoys night out without her kids

After stripping off her most glamorous outfit, Holly Flanagan, her boyfriend Robbie Talbot, and his 14-year-old daughter Sophie, she was brutally mum-shamed on social media. The trio’s planned night out included a trip to Crosby’s Kyma Nightclub, which served as a laid-back event to help Helen get to know Robbie’s daughter a little better.

Helen, who had undoubtedly enjoyed the evening out, shared an adorable photo on Instagram showing her posing alongside Robbie’s eldest daughter as they exchanged hugs and hugs for the camera.

Helen paired her outfit with a pair of sheer, glossy tights, while Sophie chose a vibrant red mini dress, keeping things chic. Although the duo was having a great time, critics continued to criticize Helen’s decision to leave town because her own young children were nowhere to be seen.

“Where’s the boyfriend? One troll expressed a heartfelt condolence for the mother for daring to enjoy herself without her children. “Hope the kids are being looked after.

At the opening of Kyma Nightclub (hjgflanagan/ Instagram), the pair exchanged laughs.

However, in clear show of solidarity for the former Coronation Street star, Helen’s fans jumped to her defence, and shot down any criticism as soon as it had arisen. One even sarcastically wrote back: “No she left them alone. “Jesus mothers are prohibited from going out nightly”!

A second also hit out at the troll, writing: “What the F is wrong with you? Where are her children, that’s none of your business! “! While a third echoed the sentiment, adding: “Would you say the same thing to a father? Get a grip”.

A fourth supporter then commented: “Are you saying once a woman has children she can never leave the house???!! “!

Before a fifth, unimpressed user chastised the troll with: “Seriously??? Do you believe that the kitchen sink should be a woman’s object? Have you ever left the house without your kids? Grow up”.

In a rally of support, many fans began praising both Helen and Sophie with heartfelt comments like “You two are Absolutely Stunning” and “Gorgeous night” as well.

Helen shares children Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, with her ex fiancé Scott Sinclair, while Robbie has Sophie and Carina, 10, from a previous relationship.

Unfortunately, she has also been accused of being mum-shamed before at the 2023 British Fashion Awards for flaunting a sheer, lacy, black body as she walked the red carpet, something some fans didn’t believe was appropriate for the mother.

One follower at the time said, “Think more of flashing your t*ts than your kids.” Another user criticized her outfit, saying, “Why do we need to be half naked now to attract attention?” What happened to being classy? She appears to have forgotten what she was wearing when she put on a skirt in a rush.

Helen has maintained her innocence despite the criticisms, instead making a point of spending quality time with her kids when they aren’t in the spotlight. In fact, she previously reflected on her close bond with daughter Delilah, as she sweetly wrote: “She brings me so much happiness, very lucky to be her mama”.

Nigeria’s Power Minister Leads Delegation to Japan for Energy Collaboration Talks

Joycelyn Ellake Adah

The Minister of Power, Dr. Adebayo Adelabu along with key stakeholders from Nigeria’s power sector, has concluded a three-day visit to Japan.

The visit, coordinated by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), aimed to strengthen Nigeria-Japan energy partnerships, with a focus on enhancing power infrastructure and grid reliability.

The delegation held high-level discussions with Japanese energy leaders and policymakers.

The officials also explored Japan’s energy market, regulatory frameworks, and electricity management systems, aiming to adapt these lessons to Nigeria’s evolving power sector.

A major focus was on Japan’s electricity management and system operations, including advanced load dispatching, generation coordination, and grid optimization areas that could benefit Nigeria’s power sector reforms.

In addition, the Nigerian team examined Japan’s energy trading and market operations, identifying models that could improve Nigeria’s electricity market efficiency and competitiveness.

According to Adelabu, the insights are essential for improving Nigeria’s energy pricing and operations.

Key bilateral meetings were held with the Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry and JICA leadership, exploring deeper collaborations to drive Nigeria’s power sector reforms and investments.

Additionally, the delegation made a number of important visits to Japanese energy companies, including Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) and DAIKIN Solution Plaza.

The visits focused on potential applications for advanced grid management techniques and energy-efficient cooling solutions in Nigeria.

According to Persecondnews, the visit’s tangible outcomes included potential co-financing for the Distributed Access through Renewable Energy Scale-up (DARES) Project, which aims to expand rural electrification, as well as short-term measures to improve grid reliability.
