Molly-Mae Hague finally goes Instagram official with Tommy Fury in loved up snap

Molly-Mae Hague has proved her rekindled romance with Tommy Fury is the real deal as she goes Instagram official. The Love Island star, 25, proudly showed off her family in the snap on social media.

She kissed Tommy on the lips as he held their daughter Bambi in his arms. The trio tucked into ice creams on their sunny day out together as a reunited family.

Molly-Mae revealed to fans that her romance was back on with her former fiancé in her Amazon Prime series. The fan-favourite couple shocked fans last summer when they announced their split.

They had met on Love Island back in 2019 and went on to build their dream life together, welcoming daughter Bambi in 2023. However, things came crashing down when they released split statements on their social media in August.

Molly-Mae kissed Tommy in the loved up snap

After sharing their reunion with fans, Molly-Mae posted a candid response to her documentary. She said: “I’m so overwhelmed by the response to the last three episodes of ‘Molly-Mae: Behind it all’.

“Opening up again wasn’t any easier than the first time… I was so nervous to share more but seeing how much it’s resonated with people has meant everything to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart… PS. Do you want more?”

Speaking in a new episode of her Prime Video docuseries, Behind It All Part II, Molly-Mae spoke candidly about her relationship with Tommy following their split, saying that “things are looking so much better”.

Speaking in the sixth episode of her docuseries, the influencer shared an update on her relationship which she described was “worth saving”. She also shared her concerns for the future and that she does not want to rush anything with Tommy but to take “things slow”.

Molly-Mae said: “I love Tommy so much and I love our family so much that I’m willing to ride the wave. And that’s not something that everyone wants to do, but it’s something that I’m willing to do because I want my family.”

“He’s just really different these days. Obviously, he knows it’s the drink. He’s not drank now for what, four months? I don’t think the drinks gone away forever. Do I think that drink could still be a problem for us, potentially? Yeah, but I think the break-up showed Tommy that I’m serious. He’s just really different these days.”

She also spoke her recent secret holiday with Tommy and Bambi that she described as “picture perfect”. “Dubai was picture perfect, like it was just the best trip ever,” Molly-Mae gushed.

“It literally just felt like everything I wanted it to be, and more. It was exactly what we needed. All the noise of everyone, just like it just switched off everyone’s opinions. Nothing mattered. It was just like us in our bubble.”

She insisted: “Things are looking so much better for us. I’m gonna start spending more time at Tommy’s house, keeping things slow and not rushing anything.

“But, as always, I always say I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think it’s gonna be a plain sailing future. I don’t, that’s just me being honest. I think we’re still gonna have bumps.

“The dream is still the same that, you know, we’ll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in that house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together. That’s all I’ve ever wanted for us.”

However, Molly-Mae added: “I don’t want to get too excited, but I’m getting glimmers of what I always wanted, which is, my family. I know that we have got something completely worth saving but you never know what’s around the corner.”

Sowore Says Obi Not Real Opposition, Obidient Movement Disagrees

A former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has criticised the Labour Party and its 2023 flagbearer, Peter Obi, describing them as a “short rental” arrangement that lacks the capacity to challenge Nigeria’s political status quo.

Sowore made the remarks on Sunday while appearing as a guest on Inside Sources on Channels Television.

“But in terms of real opposition. I don’t know why anybody refers to Peter Obi as an opposition. He is not opposed to anything the government is doing. He didn’t organise his supporters to fight for the election victory he claimed.

“He said nothing when fuel prices were increased. He hasn’t done anything that an opposition figure typically does,” he stated.

Sowore dismissed suggestions that Obi remains the most visible face of the opposition ahead of the 2027 general elections, and reiterated his longstanding doubts about the political intent and impact of the former Anambra State governor.

“My position in 2022 and 2023 is what is unfolding now — that contrary to the impression created that Peter Obi was opposed to the system and capable of challenging it, he is, in fact, incapable of doing so.

“I also said at the time that the Labour Party was a short rental — what they call Airbnb in America. You move in; you check out when your time expires.

“When they are done with Peter Obi, they’ll move the rental to someone else. Maybe Obi doesn’t want to move out now, rightly or wrongly, or maybe he’s staying for show,” Sowore stated.

Sowore further argued that Obi’s prominence in 2023 was largely the result of religious sentiment sparked by the APC’s Muslim-Muslim ticket.

“There was this whole debate around the Muslim-Muslim ticket, so Christians responded by saying, ‘If you want to Islamise Nigeria, we’ll Christianise it too’. And who was the most available Christian candidate? Peter Obi.

The former presidential candidate argued that real opposition required mobilisation, resistance, and street action — all of which he claimed Obi had avoided.

“If you say you’re opposition, you must act like it. You had six million people vote for you — if you can’t put all of them on the streets, at least put 60,000 in Abuja and see how seriously the government will take you.

“You are the ones pouring cold water on protests because you don’t want real change — you just want to replace Tinubu’s group with your own group,” he said.

Sowore also criticised the current crop of Labour Party lawmakers, noting that their growing alignment with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

“Look at all the Labour Party people in the National Assembly — they’re not decamping back to where they came from. They’re decamping to the APC. That’s the point; these guys are not real. They weren’t real in 2023, and they won’t be in 2027,” he asserted.

 Obidient Movement Responds

But reacting via a phone conversation with Channels Television on Sunday, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, dismissed Sowore’s remarks, stating that Obi’s relevance in national discourse remained “unmatched.”

Tanko said, “So, the question we want to ask is this: when someone is not a worthy opposition, why do you keep talking about him? As we stand today in Nigerian politics, if they don’t talk about Peter Obi, none of them gets traction. None.

“Whether he goes to the toilet, speaks, or makes a statement, it becomes news. That’s the level of Peter Obi’s relevance in today’s political dispensation.”

Tanko also criticised the recent comment on Obi by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, during a valedictory session for the late Chief Edwin Clark.

“To a point that Peter Obi was discussed at a valedictory service by no less a person than the Senate President — not even on national policy, but on character assassination. That says a lot,” he said.

He urged political opponents to focus on their future campaigns, while reaffirming the Obidient Movement’s continued support for Obi’s quest for a better Nigeria.

Katie Price defiant as she shares snap of her pets hours after sparking anger from PETA

Katie Price snuggled up close with five of her favourite pets over the weekend and shared a cute snap of her cats and dogs – hours after leaving fans concerned by a pet video

Katie Price has proudly shown off five of her pets after sparking alarm over the way she cares for some of her wildlife. The 46-year-old mum-of-five has attracted unwanted attention over the years over the fact animals have died in her care.

But over the weekend, the glamour model was celebrating some of her favourite furry friends as she took to social media to show off the pets that she loves and cares for. Taking to Instagram Stories, she shared a photo of her three hairless Sphynx cats and two dogs all snuggled together.

She added a simple caption to the image, writing: “My babies.” The new image came just hours after she sparked outrage by sharing a video clip of a dog hanging out the window of a car.

She captioned the video clip, shared via Snapchat, to write: “Anyone else have a pet like this?” The simple post attracted a wall of anger from followers who expressed concern for the pooch, however.

Among complainers is the animal charity People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) – who slammed the star for sharing her video on social media. A spokesperson told The Sun: “While it’s wonderful for dogs to enjoy the great outdoors and lovely when guardians include them on suitable outings, it can be damned dangerous to have the car window lowered enough for them to jump or fall out.”

Highlighting the risks to the dog, the spokesperson said: “A sudden stop, sharp turn, or tempting distraction can quickly turn a fun trip into a tragedy.”

The latest intervention from Peta comes after they previously offered to pay her thousands of pounds to stop buying pets. Offering the glamour model £5,000, they said in a past statement: “things have gone horribly wrong with many of the animals under her supervision.”

In June 2023, Katie’s German Shepherd Blade was struck on the busy A24, close to her home in East Sussex. Sharing her grief at the time, she wrote in an online post: “Words can’t express the lost of my best friend my protector my absolutely everything who had sadly passed away today. I have no words to say how I’m feeling but numb and shocked rip Blade.”

Six months earlier, her pet Pomeranian Sharon was killed, reportedly in a horror crash on the same road. And the year before that, Katie’s Alsatian Queenie, a present from her ex Kieran Hayler, was allegedly hit by a pizza delivery driver.

She wrote on social media at the time: “I’m absolutely devastated… she was killed by a heartless delivery driver who ran into our dog seeing her struggle and drove off without telling and left her to die.”

Another Alsatian belonging to the star was killed on the A24 in 2020 – but it’s not just dogs that have died in tragic circumstances. A horse was also killed on the busy road in 2017 when it escaped from a field.

In July 2020, French bulldog Rolo died after getting stuck under an electric armchair. The pet had been a present for Katie’s daughter, Princess Andrei’s 13th birthday and the mum called what happened a ‘freak accident’.

The glamour model attempted to revive the pet before rushing him to the vet, where she learned it was sadly too late. “There was nothing they could do, but they did say he wouldn’t have died in pain, it was quick,” she explained on YouTube at the time.

US, China hail ‘substantial progress’ made in tariff talks in Geneva

Beijing and Washington have both hailed the progress made at the end of a weekend of closed-door discussions in Switzerland aimed at de-escalating trade tensions sparked by US President Donald Trump’s aggressive worldwide tariff rollout in March and China’s retaliation.

Following the talks on Sunday at the Geneva villa of the Swiss ambassador to the United Nations, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told reporters: “I’m happy to report that we’ve made substantial progress between the United States and China in the very important trade talks.”

“The talks were productive,” he added.

Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, who also took part in the two days of closed-door talks with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, said that the differences between the sides were “not so large as maybe thought”.

He Lifeng also lauded what he called “important progress” in the trade talks with the US.

Speaking to reporters in Geneva, he said the atmosphere of the talks with Bessent and Greer had been candid, in-depth, and substantive, echoing similar language from the US delegation.

Both countries said they would put out a joint statement on the talks on Monday.

After the first day of negotiations, Trump had posted on his social network Truth Social that the discussions had been “very good”, describing them as “a total reset negotiated in a friendly, but constructive, manner”.

Beijing had yet to comment Sunday, but on Saturday, Chinese state news agency Xinhua described the talks as “an important step in promoting the resolution of the issue”.

The Chinese delegation was expected to speak to the media on Sunday evening.

The meetings marked the first time that senior officials from the world’s two largest economies have met face-to-face to tackle the topic of trade since Trump slapped steep new levies on China last month, sparking a robust retaliation from Beijing.

“The talks reflect that the current state of the trade relations with these extremely high tariffs is ultimately in the interests of neither the United States nor China,” Citigroup global chief economist Nathan Sheets told news agency AFP. He called the tariffs a “lose-lose proposition”.

The tariffs imposed by Trump on the Asian manufacturing giant since the start of the year currently total 145 percent, with cumulative US duties on some Chinese goods reaching a staggering 245 percent.

Keeping expectations low

In retaliation, China put 125-percent tariffs on US goods.

Ahead of the meeting, Trump signalled he might lower the tariffs, suggesting on social media that an “80% Tariff on China seems right!”

However, his press secretary Karoline Leavitt later clarified that the US would not lower tariffs unilaterally, as China would also need to make concessions.

Going into the meeting, both sides played down expectations of a major change in trade relations.

Bessent underlined a focus on “de-escalation” and not a “big trade deal”, while Beijing insisted that the US had to ease tariffs first.

The fact that the talks are even happening “is good news for business, and for the financial markets”, said Gary Hufbauer, a senior non-resident fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.

But Hufbauer cautioned that he was “very sceptical that there will be any return to something like normal US-China trade relations”. Even a tariff rate of 70 to 80 percent would still potentially halve bilateral trade, he said.

Among some of the more moderate Trump officials, such as Bessent and US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, “there’s a realisation that China is better equipped to deal with this trade war than the US”, said Hufbauer.

The Geneva meeting comes after Trump unveiled a trade agreement with the United Kingdom on Thursday, the first deal with any country since he unleashed his blitz of global tariffs, but which maintains a 10-percent baseline levy on most British goods.

Following the US-UK trade announcement, analysts have voiced pessimism about the likelihood that negotiations will lead to any significant changes in the US-China trade relationship.

In his Truth Social post, Trump claimed the talks had made “GREAT PROGRESS!!”

GB win wheelchair tennis World Team Cup bronzes

Frank Molter

Great Britain won bronze medals in the men’s and quad events at the wheelchair tennis World Team Cup in Turkey.

Ben Bartram and Dahnon Ward beat France pair Geoffrey Jasiak and Gaetan Menguy respectively in the singles of the men’s bronze medal play-off.

Greg Slade and Gary Cox beat Australia in the deciding doubles to finish third in the quad competition in Antalya.

Australia forced a decider when Benjamin Wenzel beat Andy Lapthorne after Slade had won the opening singles match against Finn Broadbent.

“I’m really happy and very proud of all our efforts this week,” said Bartram.

“It’s definitely a very deserved bronze medal.”

Japan, who beat Britain in the semi-finals, defeated Chile in the final to win the men’s title.

The quad title was won by the Netherlands, who beat Brazil in the final. Britain lost 2-0 to Brazil in the semi-finals on Saturday.

“I’m delighted to have come through, to win the bronze with the team and bounce back from the disappointment of the semi-final against Brazil,” said Slade, who, like Cox, secured his first World Team Cup medal.

“We really collected ourselves and went after it and played some really good tennis.”

The World Team Cup is wheelchair tennis’ biggest team competition, and is the equivalent of the Davis Cup or Billie Jean King Cup.

The Netherlands also won the women’s competition, in which Britain were beaten by France in the bronze medal play-off.
