Kim Kardashian shocks fans with naked dress after TV show backlash

Kim Kardashian is best known for her reality show appearances as well as her underwear line Skims, however she has now tried her hand at acting – and some weren’t impressed

Kim Kardashian has once again shocked her followers with yet another out-there look. The star took to her social media to share a collection of photos in a naked-look dress just days after her new TV show panned.

The mum-of-four posed for the camera in a series of snaps as she looked stunning in a see-through off-the-shoulder brown number. The frock left little to the imagination while she posed on the beach.

The 45-year-old went bare foot and left the accessories at home for the photo shoot. She styled her iconic brunette locks in loose beach waves and went for a minimal makeup look.

Friends and fans of the star took to the comment section to applaud her on her daring get up. One person wrote: “Wow so beautiful,” along with the heart eyes emoji.

A second declared: “Stunning Kim.” As a third jokingly made a Love Island reference saying: “A bombshell has entered the villa.”

Kim’s post comes as her latest acting project flopped with critics. New legal drama All’s Fair, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, has been slammed by critics upon its release.

As of November 8, it has scored just 5% on review website Rotten Tomatoes, based on 21 critics reviews. The show, which had its first three episodes debut on Disney+ on November 4, seems to have done slightly better with general audiences, earning 67% on the site’s popcornmeter.

Kim stars as divorce lawyer Allura Grant whose legal practice handles high-profile divorces in Los Angeles. The drama also stars Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash.

It follows a group of female lawyers as they navigate scandals in a male dominated practice. All’s Fair has been created by Ryan Murphy who is the writer and creator of cult classics such as American Horror Story, American Crime Story and Scream Queens.

Its Kim K’s second collaboration with the producer as she made her debut on American Horror Story: Delicate which is the 12th season of the popular horror series.

The show’s synopsis reads: “A team of female divorce attorneys leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice. Fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting allegiances—both in the courtroom and within their own ranks.

“In a world where money talks and love is a battleground, these women don’t just play the game—they change it.” The Guardian labelled the show as ‘existentially terrible’.

Meanwhile the Hollywood Reporter described it as ‘stiff and affectless without a single authentic note’ and The Times’ Ben Dowell said that the show was ‘maybe the worst drama ever’.

Meghan Markle’s return to acting was ‘never her plan’ as ‘real reason’ revealed

Meghan Markle first rose to fame starring in hit series Suits but took a break from acting when she married Prince Harry, however she’s now delving back into the world of Hollywood

Returning to acting was ‘never Meghan Markle’s plan’, a source has claimed – following the news that the Duchess of Sussex is starring in a film. The star first found fame as she played the role of Rachel Zane in Suits in 2012 until 2017.

However, she took a break from acting when she entered the world of royalty and tied the knot with Prince Harry. It seems her passion for acting never left as she is entering Hollywood once again.

The 44-year-old is starring in new film Close Personal Friends, which is shooting in Pasadena, California. The movie stars fellow actors Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding.

The project is a mid-budget romcom about two couples, one famous and one not, who become friends on holiday. This is Meghan’s first role since 2017 but it’s been said she didn’t plan to make a return to acting.

A source told The Daily Mail: “This was never in her plan. This confirms it. They are poor.”

The Mirror has approached the Duchess of Sussex’s representatives for comment.

It comes after Meghan spoke out in 2022 about how she would not be returning to acting any time soon. In an interview with Variety magazine in 2022, she said: “I’m done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not.”

After she started dating Harry in 2016, Meghan stepped away from acting to pursue a life as a royal. This was until they both sensationally stepped down as senior members in 2020 and moved to California.

Meghan has also been candid about her journey as an actress, acknowledging the struggles she faced early in her career.

Despite attending numerous auditions, she faced repeated rejection from directors, which she says damaged her confidence. Meghan dropped a tantalising hint about potentially returning to acting just three years ago.

She said: “I left Suits right after the 100th episode, in 2018. I didn’t think I’d ever be in the entertainment industry again. But the entire culture has changed; streamers have changed things.

“The ability to create zeitgeist moments like we had in the ’90s – where everyone would tune in at the same time for a show or gather for one moment? – that doesn’t happen anymore.

“When I was doing Suits, that character, Rachel Zane, was in your living room with you while you were in your pyjamas eating Chinese takeout. That’s how connected the experience felt then.”

Bellamy backs Johnson to make mark under Frank

Wales boss Craig Bellamy says Brennan Johnson’s quality will “shine through” as he strives to nail down a regular starting spot under Thomas Frank at Tottenham Hotspur.

And while Bellamy pointed to Johnson’s attributes, he also dismissed the notion of the former Nottingham Forest forward being the natural successor to former Wales, Spurs and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.

“There’s no next Gareth Bale, he’s one in a lifetime,” said Bellamy.

“I’ve not seen a Gareth Bale before him and we’d be lucky to see another Gareth Bale ever again.

Johnson was Spurs’ leading scorer in 2024-25, with his 18 goals including the winner as the London club beat Manchester United in the Europa League final.

But he has found himself struggling for game-time under Frank, who took over from the sacked Ange Postecoglou in June.

Johnson makes a fifth Premier League start of the season as Spurs host Manchester United on Saturday having pressed his case with a goal in Tuesday’s 4-0 Champions League win over Copenhagen.

But Johnson then made himself a potential quiz question subject by being sent off, as he became the first British player to score and see red in Europe’s top club tournament.

“It’s been a change for him with a new manager coming in,” said Bellamy, who is preparing for November World Cup qualifiers against Liechtenstein and North Macedonia.

“Last season wasn’t a great season for Spurs, but he excelled in certain parts and his numbers and goals were exceptional.

“I’ve been there myself and it’s difficult when someone new comes in and you see one or two other players come in. So I feel he’s adjusting to that and the new manager is adjusting to him as well.

“I always believe quality will shine through and for Brennan I’m sure that will be the case.”

Wales go to Liechtenstein on 15 November and host North Macedonia three days later.

Wales are three points behind North Macedonia, who lie second in Group J, though Bellamy’s side have a game in hand.

Taraba Residents Head To Polls To Elect New Chairmen, Councilors

Residents of Taraba State in northeast Nigeria are heading to the polls to elect new chairmen to occupy 16 local government seats in the state.

The residents are also voting to elect new councillors to occupy 168 ward executive positions across the state.

Only the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) filed candidates for the local government polls.

Unlike the previous elections, where vehicular movements were restricted, this election witnessed violations of such restrictions, with no security operatives halting vehicular movement.

Markets and other business premises were all open for businesses as usual.

Some residents who spoke to Channel Television revealed that they were not aware of the election, as no awareness or sensitisation was made ahead of the polls.

India win T20 series against Australia after washout in fifth match

India have claimed a 2-1 win in the five-match T20 series against Australia after the final match was abandoned due to rain after just 4.5 overs in Brisbane.

After losing the toss and being sent in to bat on Saturday, India’s openers Abhishek Sharma (23) and Shubman Gill (29) took the score to 52 for no loss before a thunderstorm swept across the Gabba cricket ground, forcing the players from the field.

Gill took the early initiative and pummelled six fours in his 29 not out. Abhishek was dropped by Glenn Maxwell and Ben Dwarshuis on his way to an unbeaten 23.

The sellout crowd at the Gabba hung around optimistically, waiting for play to resume, but the stormy weather persisted, and the match was abandoned some two and a half hours after it started.

The opening match in the series in Canberra was also washed out before Australia won the second in Melbourne by four wickets on the back of the bowling of paceman Josh Hazlewood.

Australia withdrew Hazlewood and some other players named in the Ashes squad so they could prepare to face England with the red ball, and India won the third T20 by five wickets in Hobart and the fourth on the Gold Coast by 48 runs.

Abhishek was named Player of the Series for his 163 runs at an average of 40.75.

“The way everybody chipped in in every game and we came back from being one match down, I think credit goes to all the boys; a complete team effort,” India captain Suryakumar Yadav said.

India, who top the ICC rankings in the shortest format, will head home with confidence and plenty of player options, hoping to defend their T20 World Cup title on home soil early next year.

“I thought all in all it was a good series, two teams really going at it,” said Australia captain Mitch Marsh.
