Strictly Come Dancing star Alexis Warr has said she is “proud” of her rarely seen husband as she shared a sweet tribute on social media. The professional dancer, who joined the BBC show’s line-up this year alongside fellow newcomer Julian Caillon, said her husband, Jake Burton, has passed his dental school boards.

To mark the achievement ahead of tonight’s Strictly Halloween special, the American dancer shared three selfies taken in London – outside Buckingham Palace, near Tower Bridge and in front of Big Ben. She also posted a clip of them at home.

Alexis, 25, expressed her gratitude to Jake for his accomplishments by saying she is “grateful” to his support. The post was named “Proud wifey posttt,” according to her caption. My dentist’s board members recognized me! I’d like to thank him for his support, determination, and support and love for me throughout it all.

In 2018, the dancer and her high school sweetheart got married again. On his birthday, Alexis texted a loving message to her husband just a few weeks ago.

On the Strictly this year series, Alexis and YouTuber George Clarke are paired. With their stunning performances, the duo has consistently won over the judges and audience. They are scheduled to perform Charli XCX’s Brat anthem Apple tonight with a spine-chilling Cha Cha Cha.

Meanwhile, George has revealed that Yasmin Bennett, the model who also looks good with his tanned appearance, is pressured to keep up his new look after Strictly. Georgia Harrison, an activist and former Love Island star, has announced the birth of her first child. In a post on Instagram, she revealed the gorgeous and unique name she and her boyfriend Jack Stacey chose for their baby girl.

The star announced the birth of her daughter via a fun Halloween themed post on Friday (31 October). In that post, she kept fans guessing about the name she chose for her baby.

She ended the suspense on Saturday (1 November) by going back to Instagram. She wrote “Sahara Jean Stacey” in a post with images of the contented family leaving the hospital. Born 12.09 on the 30th October 2025.

Georgia announced she was pregnant in April, just 10 months after she met her boyfriend Jack. The music legend, 66, was scheduled to play at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on October 31 before taking to the stage at the Auditorio Telmex in Guadalajara but both dates have now been pulled.

In a statement posted to Instagram, concert promoter OSECA said: “We are informing the public in Mexico City and Guadalajara that, due to the artist’s extreme exhaustion, Morrissey’s concerts scheduled for October 31st at the Palacio de los Deportes and November 4th at the Auditorio Telmex have been cancelled.”

The promoter then reassured fans that they will be able to receive a full refund, as the statement continued: “If you made your purchase online, the refund will be automatically credited to the card you used to purchase your tickets, according to the processing times established by your bank.

The former Smiths frontman has also been forced to reschedule performances in recent years. The singer was scheduled to perform in Connecticut and Massachusetts in September, but he was forced to resign due to a “credible threat on his life” situation.
