Tony Blair’s luxe life now from £35m property empire to astounding net worth

The Mirror examines Tony Blair’s life nearly 20 years after he left Downing Street as he forges an unexpected political relationship with US President Donald Trump.

Tony Blair’s approval ratings dramatically decreased as a result of his support for President George W. Bush’s administration’s controversial foreign policies during his tenure at Number 10.

Now, many years after British soldiers fought and died in the wars of Afghanistan and Iraq, Blair is once again at the centre of one of the most pressing global conflicts of our time. It’s been revealed that the 72-year-old, once the hopeful young face of New Labour, will govern Gaza temporarily alongside President Donald Trump, in a new alliance few saw coming.

This development is a part of the President’s new plans to put an end to the ongoing conflict in Palestine.

Although Blair has a wealth of knowledge in the field of Middle Eastern affairs, the appointment has surprise him. The once-popular PM is viewed as a somewhat antagonistic figure and hasn’t been in the political limelight for a while.

What has Blair been up to since leaving Downing Street, and how has his life now fared?

a 35 million property empire

Back in 2019, the Mail Online reported that Blair’s property empire totalled £39million, made up of 39 homes and flats across the country, from London to Manchester. This includes a £8.5million townhouse in the capital’s exclusive Connaught Square, where he and his wife, Cherie Blair, made a home for themselves after leaving their most famous former address in 2007. As reported by Tatler in 2021, the Blairs paid ‘just’ £3.65 million for the plush property at the time.

This extraordinary portfolio includes a £10 million country home in Wotton Underwood, a charming Buckinghamshire village. The Blairs spent $ 4 million on their rural retreat, which again proved to be an investment.

Meanwhile, it is reported that only the Blairs’ adult children were said to be in possession of homes worth more than £12 million. In addition to the list’s more conventional properties, the list also included several apartments in the booming Manchester suburbs of Whalley Range, Urmston, and Stockport.

Staggering wealth

Blair, who allegedly had less than £20 million worth, downplayed reports of his wealth in an interview with The Telegraph in 2014. He retorted, “Reports of my wealth are wildly exaggerated.” I’m supposed to be worth £100 million, according to what I’ve read. Cherie inquires as to where it is. That is not the value of me. half of that a third of that a quarter of that A fifth of that. I could go on.

However, a publication’s investigation revealed that Blair’s personal wealth was worth more than £60 million the following year. This figure, which is roughly £45.4 million, is thought to be slightly lower by Celebrity Net Worth. Still significantly more than Blair had admitted.

After Downing Street, what career?

After stepping down as Prime Minister, Blair went on to take on a number of roles, including as an adviser to JP Morgan and Zurich International. He has previously served as a Quartet Middle East peace envoy. Since 2016, Blair has been executive chairman of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, which, according to the official website, helpsgovernments and leaders get things done” by “advising on strategy, policy and delivery.”

Celebrity Big Brother’s Tiffany Pollard comes out as non-binary – ‘I’m out of the closet’

Big Brother alumna Tiffany Pollard has admitted to being non-binary in public, claiming she embraces both her masculine and feminine selves.

Reality TV star Tiffany Pollard has publicly come out as non-binary, opening up about her gender identity and sexual orientation in a series of candid interviews.

The former Flavor of Love and Celebrity Big Brother UK star, 43, explained that she resonates with being non-binary because she experiences both masculine and feminine aspects of herself. “I really do resonate with non-binary because I feel like we are so dual without even recognising it,” she shared this week.

The infamous CBB housemate continued, “Some days, I may feel a lot more masculine, and other days, I may be super feminine.”

Tiffany has also reflected on her early sexual experiences, revealing that she immediately felt right when she first kissed a girl in middle school.

“It had to happen at some point. You gonna come out of that closet, and once you do, it’s like, ‘Okay, wow, this world is open to me in new ways,'” she told PinkNews. “Shoving me back in the closet is never gonna be an option.”

The reality star, who went on to have a name as the “HBIC” on Flavor of Love, has long gained notoriety for her unapologetic demeanor.

On Celebrity Big Brother UK in 2016, Tiffany delivered some of the show’s most unforgettable moments.

These include her infamous “David’s dead” misunderstanding and a string of viral diary room rants where she slammed fellow housemate Gemma Collins.

These events have made her a favorite of the LGBTQIA+ community and given her a surprisingly large following.

Tiffany attributes her resilience, her sincerity, and her iconic and occasionally controversial reality TV moments to her appeal to the community.

She stated on a recent podcast that she felt “bullied a lot, especially when I was young, and I feel like the gays understand that and accept it, and vice versa.”

She also touched on her exploration of masculinity, asking, “I talk like a man, I think like a man… and why do I have to suppress that when I know it exists? ” But can I feel amazing after putting on a pair of heels and a wig? Yes. There is still more to me.

The actress has characterized her life as being “very, very broad,” stating that she has never relinquished her full self-expression.

Tiffany’s sincerity regarding her queer experiences and non-binary identity strengthens her status as a highly regarded and influential figure for representation on reality television and beyond.

Strictly’s Shirley Ballas moved to tears after heartwarming gesture from mum

Although Shirley Ballas is best known for playing the lead judge on Strictly Come Dancing, she took a touching moment to leave the show and shared a heartfelt tribute from her mother.

She admitted that she hadn’t read the letter until the audiobook was in progress, stating that, “I think when she wrote that letter at the end, which totally caught me off guard because I hadn’t seen that letter, it was just suddenly there at the end.”

She continued, “I believe they intended for it to resemble the genuine emotion of reading that kind of letter.”

She said, “She really goes in quite deep, and for my mother, those things that she wrote in there I’d never heard before,” when she pondered why her mother’s heartfelt letter was so difficult to read.

Shirley returned to our TV screens last month as the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing got off to a start.

Following a remarkable 12-year run, Len Goodman’s departure made her debut on the show in 2017. In 2017, she took the lead judge position.

No thrown tables, just dedication – Clarke

Boxxer

Frazer Clarke claims that by hosting a fight on free-to-air television in Derby on October 25th, Frazer Clarke and Jeamie Tshikeva have the “responsibility” to introduce boxing to new audiences.

The new broadcast deal between Boxxer and BBC Sport officially begins with the British heavyweight title fight.

The undercard will be streamed on BBC iPlayer from 20:00 to 22:00 BST, with the live coverage broadcast on BBC Two.

Olympian Clarke stated at a polite press conference in London that the fight will “bring audiences from a variety of backgrounds”.

The 34-year-old said: “This is not your typical heavyweight fight. There won’t be any thrown chairs or tables; no need for slang between us.

This is a pair of men who are passionate about their craft and willing to compete for the title of heavyweight champion in Britain.

Tshikeva, also known as TKV, echoed the sentiments of his rival.

The 31-year-old said, “Not many people realize how significant this moment is, not only for Boxxer, BBC, me, and Frazer, but also for British boxing in general.

I want to be a part of the TKV greats.

Henry Cooper, Lennox Lewis, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, and others who have held the British heavyweight belt have a rich history.

A large screen at the news conference displayed images of those four British heavyweight champions as the two fighters entered the fight.

” It’s big, it’s prime-time, baby. It’s a special occasion. I’d like to be a part of history. My picture should be there, TKV said.

Although the pair had previously exchanged words over social media, they both mentioned how the conflict has since since cooled.

They once questioned him about his feelings for me and said he would tune up with me, TKV said.

He took it personally the way I did it, and I did it. There was a little back and forth, but I gradually learned a lot about Frazer.

Since turning professional, TKV has a record of eight victories and two losses.

I anticipate a war, and I anticipate a back-and-forth exchange. I anticipate it to be a fight like that, Clarke’s TKV said.

Burton upon Trent native Clarke wants to regain momentum in the workforce.

He won bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and won numerous amateur awards, including 2018 Commonwealth Games gold and 2015 national championships.

In a gruesome drawing contest with Fabio Wardley, Clarke, who became known as “Big Fraze,” made the switch to a career in 2022 and competed for the British title in March of 2024.

Wardley, who is now on the verge of a world-title shot, later gave Clarke a knockout in their rematch, leaving him with a broken jaw that needed to be repaired.

Browns change QB as Vikings prepare to make NFL history in London

The NFL roadshow travels to England to extend this year’s record-setting run of international games following a fantastic weekend in Ireland.

Over the next three Sundays, London will host three international matches, with three of them taking place there.

The Pittsburgh Steelers held on for a heartfelt win over the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin’s first regular-season game on Sunday.

The Vikings are the first NFL team to play in two different nations simultaneously across the Irish Sea.

On Sunday, the Vikings’ receiver Justin Jefferson and Browns’ defensive end Myles Garrett take on the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham.

What are the kick-off times and schedule for the 2025 NFL games in London?

  • Cleveland Browns vs. Minnesota Vikings vs. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, on Sunday, October 5 at 14:30 BST.
  • Denver Broncos @ New York Jets vs. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, on Sunday, October 12 (14:30).
  • Los Angeles Rams @ Jacksonville Jaguars – Wembley Stadium, London on Sunday, October 19 (14:30).

Sanders’ move closer to the NFL’s bow is why?

Given that their offensive line has been torn down by injuries, leaving backup quarterback Carson Wentz exposed, the Vikings made a wise threat to a late comeback against the Steelers.

Wentz will start in place of JJ McCarthy, who is out injured, in his third start in the starting lineup. Myles Garrett, one of the NFL’s most feared defensive players, has already recorded four sacks this year.

Cleveland are 1-3 overall after falling 34-10 to Detroit on Sunday, while Minnesota advanced to the play-offs last season with a 2-2 record.

The rookies were in a four-way quarterback battle to start for the Browns this year. While Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett were traded and Gabriel was named backup, Sanders was third overall in terms of depth.

There was speculation that Cleveland’s quarterback would make an early change with the season’s start, and last week Sanders asserted to ESPN, “If you see the quarterback right now, I know I’m capable of doing better than that.”

Shedeur would start this season at some point, according to his father Deion, who is a two-time Super Bowl champion and his college coach at Colorado. That was just a few days after that.

Why are Broncos viewed as dark horses?

The New York Jets and Denver Broncos, who have been referred to as potential Super Bowl contenders, square off next.

Bo Nix was the sixth quarterback chosen for the Broncos last year, becoming the team’s starting quarterback immediately. However, he also had the opportunity to win the offensive rookie of the year award for Jayden Daniels’ outstanding season.

Denver’s play-offs, for the first time since winning the Super Bowl in 2016, were led by Nix, who matured and maintained composure under coach Sean Payton’s leadership.

The Broncos have cornerback Surtain II as their reigning Defensive Player of the Year while Dobbins has balanced the Denver offense.

They travel to Philadelphia to face a new-look Jets team hoping to end the Aaron Rodgers era and are currently 2-2.

Although they have a new head coach, quarterback, and general manager, little has changed since last year’s 5-12 finish. The Jets are one of three teams without a win in a game heading into week five.

How Hunter could become a superstar in the NFL

The final game between two 3-1 rivals will take place at Wembley.

The Los Angeles Rams are viewed as dark horses this season despite having only three years since Denver’s most recent Super Bowl victory.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made a bold move in the draft by trading up and selecting Travis Hunter with the second overall pick despite going 4-13 last year.

Hunter focuses on offense and defense, aiming to become the NFL’s first real two-way player since the 1990s and working with Colorado’s former college coach Deion Sanders.

Hunter, 22, has yet to produce a breakout performance because he has 13 receptions for 118 yards and has played more receiver than cornerback.

How does NFL London 2025 look?

On each of the three NFL London games, live text commentary will be available on the BBC Sport website and app beginning at 14:00 each game day.

The usual match report, reaction, and highlights will be provided after each game.
