The city’s name was changed to LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons and they will play home games at M& S Bank Arena and Cardiff’s House of Sport.
Despite uncertainty regarding finances, the Dragons named their squad in early September.
There have been concerns about the franchise’s finances as the Welsh side finished bottom of the revamped NSL last season, winning only two of their 14 matches.

After 19 years of marriage and three months of living apart, Nicole Kidman, the Oscar winner, divorced Keith Urban on Tuesday (30 September).
Due to the couple’s public displays of affection, the divorce announcement shocked fans, but it is reported that Keith is unhappy because the relationship has cooled since then.
The country singer, who reportedly demanded their breakup, reportedly evicted from their Nashville home. According to sources, divorce is “inevitable,” which initially appeared to indicate that it would be simple and painless. However, this divorce appears to be getting worse as more details come in. Nicole and Keith’s divorce is beginning to look sour, five of which are the following.
Nicole was “blinded” by Keith.
According to sources, the film star was “blindsided” by Keith’s desire to live separate lives, so much so that she was spotted still happily wearing her wedding ring just days before filing for divorce.
A source told the press, “She was shocked.” We’ll see how things turn out with his upcoming birthday and the holiday season. They still need some work.
Though the couple had been living apart for months, their separation was not necessarily a precursor to divorce, as Keith was off on his world tour and Nicole was on set filming the Practical Magic sequel. Therefore, it wasn’t unreasonable for Nicole to feel that Keith’s wishes for the marriage to end were a shock, especially since the singer had halted his tour to be with her on her birthday earlier in the summer.
Friends claim Nicole “didn’t want the divorce.”
After news of the divorce broke, an insider claimed to press that Nicole’s sister, Antonia, and the rest of the Kidman family had raced to the actress’ side to support her through a separation she “didn’t want”.
Though Nicole was the one to file for divorce, the source explained that, until very recently, she was still trying to make things work. “She didn’t want this,” they told People. “She has been fighting to save the marriage.” Nicole reportedly made several attempts to save the marriage, but couldn’t as Keith was already “done”.
In consequence, the divorce proceedings may turn sour as a result.
Before Nicole did, Keith’s friends “knew” each other.
While Nicole thought the marriage could be saved, Keith’s friends reportedly already knew it was over. Speaking to the press, a source revealed that it wasn’t a “secret” among the singer’s inner circle that divorce was “inevitable”.
They continued to explain why Nicole’s friends appeared to be aware of him before Keith called her out and even made fun of her.
“Someones close to Keith believed that this split was almost inevitable. Nicole is never seen by Keith, according to the source, “she is never filming or he is on tour.” Then they continued, “They are just going through the motions]of being married. The intimacy isn’t there.” It would be wonderful if they were separated, but Keith would have to apologize and say that he wasn’t happy.
Extreme custody arrangement
Things already seem to be nasty following the release of an extreme custody agreement signed by the estranged couple. As agreed in court, Nicole will get their daughters for 306 days a year, while Keith is left with only 59. Keith and Nicole share daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, together.
According to the document, Keith only has his daughters for Father’s Day and Thanksgiving, which total is less than two months.
The pair should encourage their daughters to have positive relationships with both their parents, according to the agreement that prohibits them from “speak negatively” of one another.
Rumors about a new girlfriend
Sources in the US say Keith has already moved on to someone else. One said: “All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”
Another claimed that “everyone is talking about it,” and that Nicole’s new girlfriend is “younger.” According to rumors, he is working with a younger woman in the company. Everyone is talking about it all at once. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, it’s a mystery.
Beginning on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) announced the resumption of passenger train services along the Abuja–Kaduna corridor.
Commercial service will resume following the successful completion of all necessary safety, technical, and operational checks, according to Callistus Unyimadu, the company’s chief public relations officer.
The second train derailed at the same station in the previous 13 months, making the development happen on August 26. Shortly after passing a manually operated switch point that had previously been deemed unusable, the incident occurred.
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) conducted an investigation to discover that the train’s derailment was caused by malfunctioning infrastructure and safety management blunders.
However, NRC’s update stated that the train’s necessary checks had been completed.
This action demonstrates the Corporation’s commitment to providing the traveling public with smooth, trustworthy, and secure train services.

Before December 31, 2025, all 618 passengers on board the ship during the accident on August 26, 2025, will be eligible for one free ride.

A new BBC One documentary reveals intimate details about Ozzy Osbourne’s final months, including the love notes he left around the house for his wife, Sharon.
Sharon claims that Ozzy leaves her “very romantic” notes around the house. You are the love of my life, according to the notes, which can be seen on screen, and “My baby girl, I love you.”
“Ya know what,” is another phrase in the note. I adore you,” and “Dearest, Sharon, I’m not half fond of you.” Many of Sharon’s messages have been carefully crafted and are still a vivid memory in her home.
The sprawling mansion is shown in the new show trailer, and Sharon claims that the pair “always refer to this as home.”
Osbourne says, “I’m looking forward to an English summer” and, “I feel like I’m finally home,” in between clips of their English country home. After their reality television series The Osbournes, their son Jack claims that the family has been “scattered” and that things have “turned around” once more.
Sharon, 72, reflects on their marriage and the singer’s death on July 22 at 76, after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease. “I always always told Ozzy, when you’re 70, we say goodbye,” she says in the film. Daughter Kelly, however, disagrees: “I don’t think it’s possible for either one of them to retire ever.”

The couple’s two youngest children, Kelly and Jack, as well as their close friends, are followed in the 60-minute movie as they make plans for the next chapter of their lives together in their Buckinghamshire home.
The documentary was initially due to be shown on BBC One on August 18, but was replaced with an episode of Fake Or Fortune? with the broadcaster saying it had been “moved in the schedules”.
A BBC spokesperson said: “Our sympathies are with the Osbourne family at this difficult time” shortly after the documentary’s postponement. We respect the family’s request to air this extremely special movie for a while.
Just weeks after reuniting with his band for a farewell concert at Villa Park in his hometown of Birmingham, Osbourne, who passed away on July 22 from a reportedly heart attack, died at the age of 76.
Osbourne and his wife Sharon’s move back from the US, where they had resided for more than 20 years, was the original intention behind the BBC documentary, which was released as a series in 2022.
However, the three-year project “evolved as Ozzy’s health deteriorated” into the one-hour film, according to the BBC.
Ozzy: No Escape From Now, a feature-length film about the late Black Sabbath frontman, will be available on the streaming service on October 7. Paramount+ has made the announcement.
Ozzy and Sharon were married for 43 years, from the day they got engaged on July 4, 1982, until Ozzy passed away in July. Their long-lasting union spanned more than four decades, and it was a significant component of their private lives, particularly after the success of their reality series The Osbournes.
Ozzy’s health struggles and his resolve to keep going are both highlighted in the new documentary. He announced in May that he was “heavy training” for what would become his final concert after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2020.
“By hook or by crook,” He referred to the Black Sabbath reunion taking place at Birmingham’s Villa Park and said, “I have to make it there.”
He addressed the audience at the Back to the Beginning show with what would become his final public statement: “I’ve been laid up for about six years.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart because you know how I feel. He said, “It’s a farewell to live performances, and what a way to go out. “
Ozzy and Sharon had a long-awaited return to Britain after spending 20 years in California. Ozzy criticized American life in 2022, saying, “Everything is f***ing ridiculous in America.”
His final days were confirmed last month in Birmingham, confirming his wishes to return home. Although his children were with him, his death was reported as earlier than expected.
His side was he had daughters Kelly, 40, and Aimee, 41, who had traveled from Los Angeles. A close friend of theirs told the Daily Mail, “It is very sad for all of them.”
They really hoped he could stay put for a little longer. But it’s so lovely that he and his children were close friends during his final days. “.
On October 2, BBC One will broadcast Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home at 9 p.m., and BBC iPlayer will follow.
After announcing his retirement at the end of the 2026 season, Gael Monfils says he feels “stupidly lucky” to have participated in a golden era of tennis.
The 39-year-old has won 13 titles in his career, including the Auckland Open title, which he won in January, making him the oldest ATP Tour member in four months.
One of the most well-known players on tour was Monfils, who was known for his athleticism and all-action displays.
However, the 53-year-old has had injuries in recent years, and he was forced to withdraw from the Chengdu Open last month due to an ankle issue.
“Life is too short,” he declared. Believe me when I state that I don’t regret anything, Monfils wrote on Instagram.
“I feel lucky, insanely lucky, stupidly lucky,” I do have this feeling. I’ve had the opportunity to play alongside some of the greatest players in tennis history: Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, and Murray.
The 39-year-old experienced his most consistent form during the mid-2010s, when Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal were at their most elite.
After being defeated by Djokovic in the semi-finals of the US Open, the Frenchman moved up to a career-high sixth in the world in 2016.
After losing to Federer in the final four of the 2008 French Open, Monfils made his second Grand Slam semi-final appearance at Flushing Meadows.
“I never did win a Grand Slam during my career,” continued Monfils.
I won’t pretend to plan for it the following year.
At the Cincinnati Open in 2024, the Frenchman blew it out to world number one Carlos Alcaraz.
However, the Spaniard and Jannik Sinner have combined won nine Grand Slams totaling more than $10,000.
On the occasion of the country’s 65th anniversary of independence, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has urged citizens to make more sacrifices.
CAN’s President, Daniel Okoh, said that patriotism and faith in God could help the country overcome its difficulties in a statement released on Wednesday.

“Can as a faith community believes that collective sacrifice, patriotism, and faith in God can help us overcome the difficulties we face.”
We therefore urge all Nigerians, leaders and citizens to unite and to work together for the common good, the statement read.
The Christian Brotherhood, however, called on the Federal Government to address the numerous challenges and decried the security situation there.
Archbishop Daniel Okoh, CAN President, is shown in a photo.
The CAN President praised Nigerians’ resilience, citing how they “performed during the civil war, years of instability, and frequent economic and social crises.”

Our people continue to believe in the promise of a better Nigeria despite these challenges.
“We applaud the undeniable advancements made over the years in the fields of education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, telecommunications, and other industries.
Our nation today boasts thousands of young men and women who continue to shape the country’s future, according to Okoh, “from a small number of schools and institutions at independence.”
Tinubu Changes
He praised the President Bola Tinubu administration’s economic reforms and called for them to be done.
Okoh complained, however, that Nigerians have endured untold hardship as a result of the reforms.
However, we must also be open about the nation-building process’s progress. Although necessary, economic reforms have caused millions of people temporary hardship.
Households are still impacted significantly by inflation, food insecurity, unemployment, and rising costs of living. True progress must be measured by everything from the statistics to the food on every table, community security, and opportunities for every child.
We pray that God will grant our leaders the strength, courage, and wisdom to implement reforms, and that He will protect them from sycophants who don’t want our country to prosper, he continued.
Security, in his opinion, still poses an urgent problem. Deep enslavement and displacement have resulted from banditry, kidnapping, and tribal conflict.
More needs to be done, according to Okoh, to ensure the protection of lives and property.
