Before she fell in love with her current partner Maxx Morando, her mother, Tish Cyrus, gave her bad advice regarding dating.

Miley Cyrus has claimed her mother gave her bad advice when it came to dating. And now, the former child star turned singer has confessed she has had to learn to find a partner who treats her with respect.

Miley, 32, claimed her mum had told her to stay with the “wrong guy” because they were “hot”. The star, best known for her role with the Disney Channel before her breakout singing career, opened up on her mum and manager Tish Cyrus-Purcell’s advice.

For the most recent The Cut cover, she starred alongside her mother, her sisters, Noah and Brandi, and herself. Miley acknowledged that she no longer consults with her mother when it comes to relationships despite her mother being her go-to for business advice.

Miley claimed in the interview that “because they’re hot, mom always wanted me to stay with the wrong guy.” I ended up with drummer Maxx Morando, who is very dear to me, treats me very well, and values me.

She continued, “My mother taught me the wrong way, and I had to learn the right way by myself.”

Mom never really put that in the top three of her must-haves because I had to find someone who would treat me with respect. They need to be tall, Mom said. My man is also insanely hot. But I respect him as well.

Miley had relationships with a number of famous people before joining Morando. Whether any of those involved her mother were being discussed.

She was married to actor Liam Hemsworth, singer Cody Simpson, and pop star Nick Jonas.

In 2018, the couple wed. Their wedding took place shortly after their Malibu home was destroyed by a wildfire in California.

However, their union failed, and they eventually broke up the summer before their divorce was finalized in January 2020. Billy Ray Cyrus, the country singer, was Billy Ray’s mother. The pair’s divorce was reportedly finalized in April 2022, according to reports.

In August of that year, Tish and Australian actor Dominic Purcell wed. Liz Hurley, an actress, is currently dating Billy Ray.

Liz recently admitted she is in love with boyfriend Billy Ray and looks forward to snuggling up to him by the TV at night. The duo have been officially an item for five months.

Liz and Liz were questioned about their unexpected relationship during an interview to promote her new Channel 4 series, The Inheritance. When asked how long she has been a fan of Estee Lauder’s breast cancer charity campaign, she responded that she also fell in love with my boyfriend. So a good year, then.

After it was revealed that the Hollywood icon was currently residing in a care facility as a result of his dementia diagnosis, Demi Moore has defended Bruce Willis’ current wife Emma Heming Willis.

Demi Moore has once again offered her support to the wife of her ex-husband Bruce Willis as they continue to deal with his dementia diagnosis. Emma Heming Willis has remained by the Hollywood icon’s side following his diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia.

Two years ago, the Die Hard star was diagnosed with the disease and his wife, Emma Heming Willis has regularly updated his fans with his health battle. She assumed caregiving duties, but faced some backlash when she revealed she had sent him to a care home.

He currently has a full-time care team living nearby. One of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make, Emma said. But I was first and foremost aware that Bruce wanted that for our daughters. You are aware that he would prefer for them to reside in a home that was more in tune with their needs, not his.

Demi has since defended her actions, though. Demi praised Emma’s efforts during an appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s podcast. Demi is reportedly quoted as saying, “There is no roadmap for how to deal with this.”

Being the ex-wife is obviously an interesting position, despite our family’s closeness. Emma was sorely ill-equipped to figure out the details.

She mentions this in the book in her book, and she was speaking out about how important it was for caregivers to take care of themselves. They can’t show up for anyone else if they don’t put that effort into ensuring that they are okay.

Being a young woman, I have so much compassion for Emma. Nobody could have predicted the direction that this would take. She did a fantastic job, in my opinion.

She has made a lot of effort to find the right path. She navigating this with equal parts of fear, strength, and courage. I believe that many people who are going through this will find this book to be really helpful.

The family has endured a strong relationship throughout, with the exception of Demi, Bruce’s ex-wife of 11 years. Despite splitting, Demi and Bruce still have daughters named Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, are the children of Emma and Bruce.

In 2023, Emma also praised Demi. Emma and Bruce wed in 2009 and renewed their vows as they celebrated their 10th anniversary back in 2019 with their family played a big part in the sweet ceremony.

Demi, who was married to the actor from 1987 to 2000, has maintained a close relationship with them both.

And shortly after Bruce’s diagnosis, Emma showed her support to the former couple as she took to Instagram to repost a black-and-white pic of the pair cosying up to each other. At the time, she wrote: “Yeah. Me too. I liked them together as well.”
