Calvin Harris reveals details of Vick Hope’s home birth and graphic snap stuns fans

**TRIGGER WARNING – GRAPHIC IMAGES** DJ Calvin Harris and his wife Vick Hope welcomed their baby at the end of July. Calvin took to his social media to share a slew of snaps from the home birth

Calvin Harris announced he and his wife, Vick Hope, welcomed their baby last month, but added a few intimate snaps that shocked fans. The new father took to his social media on August 4 to share the happy news with a wholesome picture of him cradling his newborn son, Micah, while relaxing on a sofa in the garden.

However, the carousel contained a few more snaps that ‘ fans weren’t prepared for’. In the second snap, Calvin was on his knees holding his newborn son – who was still in the home birthing pool with mum Vick. Another snap showed Vick leaning on the edge of the inflatable pool with her eyes closed. A few candles were lit to maintain a soothing atmosphere.

The fourth slide shocked fans the most as they “weren’t prepared” to witness a close-up photo of the placenta. He also shared snaps of the placenta, now cut up into pieces, placed into a dehydrator to be made into pills. “Congratulations! Coulda used a trigger warning in the last few slides tho”, one fan commented.

“I was NOT prepared for the placenta pic”, one shocked fan announced while another posted: “Swiping:” Oh wow! …. That’s amazing….. Congratula….. WHAT THE F**K!? “. Meanwhile, his fellow DJ pals congratulated him, with Armin Van Buuren and Sebastian Ingrosso sharing their well wishes

US to require up to $15,000 bond for some tourists

The United States could require up to $15, 000 bonds for some tourist and business visas under a pilot programme launching in two weeks.

The Department of State notice released on Monday said the effort aims to deter those who overstay their visas.

The 12-month pilot programme, which will begin on August 20, will target those seeking B-1 or B-2 visas from countries with high rates of overstays although the document does not identify the nations. In June, the US government announced the possibility of full or partial travel bans on visitors from 36 countries with high rates of overstays among other concerns.

The State Department said in its announcement the programme could bring in $20m over the course of a year.

“The Pilot Program is further designed to serve as a diplomatic tool to encourage foreign governments to take all appropriate actions to ensure robust screening and vetting for all citizens in matters of identity verification and public safety”, the release said.

The release notes that historically the State Department has discouraged requiring travellers to the US to post a bond, saying processing the bonds would be “cumbersome”.

In 2020 at the end of President Donald Trump’s first administration, the White House rolled out a similar six-month programme that targeted two dozen countries, most of which were in Africa. It was not fully implemented due to the drop in global travel associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the notice said

The Trump administration said the new programme would be a diplomatic deterrent for bad actors trying to enter the US. According to the report, there were 500, 000 suspected overstays in the fiscal year 2023.

Trump has made cracking down on immigration a central focus of his presidency, surging resources to secure the border and arresting tens of thousands of undocumented migrants, including many who are seeking legal status.

The administration has justified its arrests and deportations on repeated claims that those who are “unlawfully present in the United States present significant threats to national security and public safety” although overwhelming evidence has shown that immigrants commit crimes at lower rates than naturally born Americans.

Meghan Markle will ‘never win over public’ like Queen Camilla due to major complaint

A royal commentator has explained why the Duchess of Sussex will not be able to change the public’s opinion of her, like Queen Camilla did decades ago

Meghan Markle will never win over the public in the same way Queen Camilla did in the past, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex has suffered from a low favourability rating among the UK public since she and Prince Harry quit royal life in 2020. But she is not the only royal who has battled with the public’s opinion, as Camilla also faced a wave of public scrutiny when she began publicly dating King Charles.

The key difference in the major royals though, is that Queen Camilla has managed to turn around her public image after decades of work to win back even her harshest critics. It comes after Prince Harry’s devastating loss in royal rift was exposed as Meghan ‘holds the cards’.

As the Queen has started stepping up her public appearances and her support of King Charles through his cancer journey, her public image has greatly changed, earning her more royal supporters than ever before.

This wasn’t always the case though, as Camilla was seen in the eyes of many as “the other woman” after her on-off relationship with King Charles while he was still married to Princess Diana.

While Camilla has managed to improve her image, some royal commentators have wondered whether the same public rehabilitation would be possible for Meghan Markle. However, one royal expert believes one major difference between the two women explains why Meghan will never win the public back.

Speaking candidly on the podcast Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered last year, expert Robert Jobson said that Camilla managed to change public perception as she never commented on the hate she has received, whereas Meghan has repeatedly spoken about it.

Jobson said: “Through all of the bad times she had,]Camilla] never said a word. She never spoke publicly about anything. That’s what’s likeable about her. She’s a very likeable person. She’s got a great character and she’s not looking for anybody to like her..”.

He continued: “If Meghan spends her life worrying about whether she’s liked or not invariably]she’ll] end up disappointed because some people like you and some people don’t, that’s just the way it is.

” So can she turn herself around, Meghan in the UK? I doubt it, I doubt it. “

Jobson also said that Camilla’s loyalty and willingness to take on more royal responsibilities in recent years, without ever complaining about it, would have hugely contributed to her growing popularity.

The S Club 7 star says he hadn’t been on a date for six years before joining the cast of Celebs Go Dating this summer, after being put off of dating.

The S Club 7 star is appearing on the new series of the dating show, which starts next week, and says he’s finally showing people a slice of who he really is. And as Mirror chats to him ahead of the show airing, Jon, 43, is feeling a mix of nerves and excitement.

From nightmare dates to therapy sessions with dating experts Paul C Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, Jon gives us the lowdown…

Hi, Jon! Are you excited to see yourself on Celebs Go Dating?

I am. I’ve got some nerves, too, there was a lot of filming over a couple of months so I’m thinking, ‘ What did I say?, ‘ What did I do? ‘ I’m nervous about what parts they’re going to use, because you might go on a date for two hours and they only use three minutes, meaning things get lost. But I got a lot more out of it than I expected to.

What made you want to do it?

I hadn’t dated in six years, I’m hopeless! So, I needed all the help I could get. But I came into it with a very open attitude, embracing the experience, I went for it 100% and I’m glad I did.

How did you find the therapy sessions with the experts?

That’s the bit I enjoyed most. The experts hold a mirror to you and why you do certain things – you look at your past and things start to click. It was nice to let that out, and it was comforting. I had previously discussed topics before, and it was therapeutic to address them loudly. How much I’d grown as a result of the experience was encouraging. Because I’m comfortable, I don’t believe I need any more therapy. However, occasionally a top-up and occasional check-ins with yourself are always beneficial.

What did you think the show’s main takeaway was?

It’s very difficult to ask someone else to fall in love with you if you’re not entirely content with who you are. That is unfair. Therefore, my advice is to ensure that you are completely content with yourself before choosing to pursue someone else. I’m so relieved that I’m now in a comfortable position and that I’m 43 years old.

Was it nice to expose your inner self in raw form?

Definitely . Because of the band, I’ve always been “Jon from S Club,” where you have to present yourself in a certain way and respond to specific questions. Therefore, for me and for the public to see being completely myself was a new experience. It was energizing.

Sir Rod Stewart slammed for ‘tacky’ and ‘out of touch’ AI tribute to Ozzy Osbourne

Sir Rod Stewart has sparked backlash after playing an AI‑generated video of Ozzy Osbourne “in heaven” with deceased music icons during his recent concerts

Fans at Sir Rod Stewart’s latest concerts have condemned the decision to play an AI‑generated video depicting Ozzy Osbourne meeting late music stars in “heaven.”

The clip was shown on giant screens during a dedication of Forever Young to the Black Sabbath legend, who died on July 22 aged 76 and was buried on July 31.

The video featured a smiling Ozzy holding a selfie stick while posing with AI creations of George Michael, Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Prince, Tina Turner, Bob Marley, Tupac Shakur, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson and XXXTentacion. It comes after Kelly Osbourne broke her silence on her dad’s death to share an emotional tribute.

Many audience members felt that Rod’s tribute was “tacky” and disrespectful, given how recently the rock icon had died.

Sloane Steel, who attended the Alabama concert where the clip was unveiled, said it was “the craziest most disrespectful s**t I ever saw in my life.”

Another fan likened it to Weekend at Bernie’s, adding: “Prince didn’t even want his music on Spotify… I’m 100% sure he wouldn’t have signed off on Rod Stewart puppeteering his face for this tacky…”

One person wrote online: “Good idea: pay tribute to Ozzy and his friends in heaven. Bad idea: making an AI‑generated video with his dead friends/members.” Another added: “Omfg I was there too and was horrified by this. The whole thing felt creepy and unnecessary.”

Others questioned the choice of celebrities shown. “Those aren’t even Ozzy’s friends,” one comment read. “I doubt he even knew most of those people. That’s part of what makes this so cringey. They just threw in any dead celebrity they could think of.”

Social media users also criticised the lack of personal connection. “This wasn’t even made by Rod Stewart’s team,” one pointed out.

“It was pulled from a TikTok AI account. There’s no authenticity, no real tribute – just a random AI video slapped on a big screen.”

The footage was traced back to a TikTok page called Eternal Stars, which produces AI videos of deceased celebrities.

Fans argued that using such content so soon after Osbourne’s death showed poor judgement, especially given the grief still felt by his loved ones and supporters.

The controversy came just days after emotional scenes in Birmingham, where widow Sharon Osbourne wept at Black Sabbath Bridge surrounded by her children.

It was also less than a month since Ozzy’s final public performance with Black Sabbath, where he remained seated throughout the show.

Bandmate Geezer Butler described him as “frail” but “thrilled” to perform one last time for his fans.
